Welcome to February at Egg Cave! We have exciting news. Today, we'd like to introduce the Monthly Challenge, which is an achievements and dailies system that allows you to earn CaveCash without a direct buy. You can earn 100 CaveCash when you complete 25 days worth of dailies (and collect other rewards along the way). Dailies rotate and reset every day at midnight ECT.
Visit and access the Monthly Challenge from your verified main account. Each month, you'll need to complete 2-factor authentication to access the Monthly Challenge. Haven't verified your main account yet? You can do that under Preferences with a valid phone number. The Monthly Challenge is largely hidden or out-of-view for side accounts and unverified main accounts.
We'll explain some of the functionality behind how the dailies system works.
This is the initial release of the Monthly Challenge and we know and understand that things will need to be updated, changed, and tweaked. We're here to listen to the community to build something that's challenging but also fun. I think to make everyone happy we *should* have a Spam forum topic area. I've been on another pet site for a long time and one of the activities is to post on the forum and people will use the forums to go there. 😊

As already pointed out, I am not liking the commenting on site blog post. I'm not usually a commenter in the first place and it makes me uncomfortable having to make not 1, but 3 posts that are "of value"

Anyways, I'm pretty sure the staff are looking into it but I just think it is posting spam since we aren't really contributing to anything of value. I feel like I'm trying to make this *not* spam as much as possible.

Woo-hoo! February means my birthday, chocolate, and a batch of adorable new creatures! Both new CSP and Cave monthlies are gorgeous! Also nice to see the Vleermus and Strawbearry back; some of the first CSP creatures I bought way back when. 😊 ❤️

The daily task system is a very nice addition and brings life to some often-forgotten features of the site (i.e. the donations centre) though some of the tasks involving multiple posts (Blog, forum and wall) does feel 'spammy'.

I LOVE the idea of the Monthly Challenge! Through personally I like less interactive activities, I'm usually on Eggcave to unwind and prefer to not be social because it's draining for my introverted being. Also really like the monthlies 😊

At least overall I’m enjoying the dailies system. Just hope the social tasks are removed or a refresh task button is added. Also hope this is the last of the social tasks that creeps up.

I'm loving the Monthly Challenges, but I'm not a fan of the Wall/Blog commenting. I'm happy to fiddle around in the forums for my dailies, but posting on a wall for the sake of posting is awfully spammy.

@minnie298a There is definitely a chance to increase clicks/feeds. When I used up the 3 toys/food on a pet today, one of the items increased their feed stats by 1. So it can happen! 😊
