Love these! I like that some are silly, some are spooky, and some are both!

@snowywinter Glad to hear you got it!! Aww yeah that's fun too. IDK I always see a ton of serious auctions and I make some myself too, I just occasionally like to put something silly out there that people can bid on if they like it.

@minnie298a I'm happy you like to see them, I do too I just thin...

Made a silly auction today, 1000 virtual cupcakes for you if you get the reference.

@daisycat Thank you so much for the information!! This is really enlightening. I can completely understand trying to avoid repeat creatures, there are some ones on this site that do look kind of similar (lots of pink deer and cats for some reason haha).
I have an idea for an eyeball millipede kind...

Hi all, as the title says, I actually love to draw and make silly ideas all the time. I would love to create some ideas the designers could use and make up some art for creature ideas that could be implemented here. (I understand this is with the caveat of those designs being interesting enough to b...

Hi all, silly topic. I got my hands on an Olianos (as can been seen on my PFP lol) and I was wondering if there were any good dirt-themed travels, preferably ones I could keep my eyes peeled for in the Travel Agency. Let me know your thoughts! Or if there are any other good worm-themed backgrounds....

Another little Habit of mine is when one of my Beasties reaches their Final Stage, I generally like to move them over to @lockhart so they can live Safe and Protected by the Valka Leaf I have there, but at the same time, I find I'm reluctant to send them over Immediately - I tend to wait until there...

I know I've mentioned it Once or Twice somewhere, but a 'Funny Little Habit' I have here on EggCave is one I do Often when it comes to Feeding Large Coves - I try to make a Game out of it 😊

So, what I do is I Scroll all the way down to the Bottom of a "Feed Friendly Cove," click the Very Last La...

What a fun idea! I won't be participating (because I only plan on keeping one Starrigrave), but good luck to everyone who does!

P.S. It only seems polite to answer the question, so...

@jarsha - Noticed it much earlier this year. Might sound incredibly silly, but my stupidly paranoid mind was too afraid to mention anything about this in case it really was just me who wasn't receiving off-site views. Finding this thread has been very relieving, haha.

sulvas • 29 May 2026 at 6:33 PM

It sure is nice of you to do this. I'd love to have Cenobites the Logaster. Hope life beyond the silly egg game treats you well. Thank you for hosting this.

edgarallentoe • 13 May 2026 at 10:56 AM

Wigtown is such a silly name! That sounds so cool though, I would LOVE to go to a place like that.

snowywinter • 15 April 2026 at 12:25 AM

Past few days, even in my own life, for some reason this is making me snicker, some forgotten quote like Invader Zim shouting "Ignore Me!", getting the complete opposite result.

Object of the game: write a creative, silly way in which you ignore the post above you, the entire thread, or ruin the...

I also noticed that our username font is more bold now (this applies to font on items in the stores and other pages as well) and when you click on starred creatures the star doesn’t show up. I’m guessing the star issue is just a glitch, but the rest are supposed to be text improvements?

There is really something going on. Not just names, when I am feeding on my own scroll, I first see a travel, after a second creature come to a travel.

lunar • 14 April 2026 at 4:27 PM

It's not overlapping anymore, but it is small, thin and the letters are more closer together, and might not be suited for the visually impaired. Creatures with longer names strain my eyes when I try to decipher what it says.

foxbit • 14 April 2026 at 3:24 PM

It's fixed now, but now it's smaller than it was before, at least for me.

kataclysm • 14 April 2026 at 6:55 AM

I'm also seeing it. Seemed like a more accessible font at a glance, just need some spacing issues to resolve it. Uuunless it's unintentional and wont be around for long.

stormwarden • 14 April 2026 at 5:58 AM

can concur that i also have this visual bug! i'm a little charmed by it XD

snowywinter • 14 April 2026 at 12:33 AM

Yes, yes we are experiencing it too

dragrawr • 13 April 2026 at 11:37 PM

Hello all, are yall having this silly bug?

https://ibb.co/4gCVSLj3

Looks like the font on the creature images has changed, not sure if its intentional

Thanks for making this Guide - It's been really helpful to me! 💚

EDIT (13/04/26) Silly Question - Do Tokens that you get from Quests ever run out/disappear? Or can they be stored up until you see something you like? I've been doing a few of the quests and would hate to lose them if I can't find...

@solaris
Oooh, I love this question!

I think it would be a toss-up between a few things. Definitely dating myself with all of these, LOL :') But one of the very first creatures I ever pulled from the cave (literally my second day on the site) in June of 2011 was a mo, back in the time that they...
