The Dozen Club hosts at least one activity, event, contest, or giveaway every month for its members, who are known as Eggies. You're welcome to join the club and become an Eggy whenever you want and leave whenever you want, as many times as you want!

Simply follow this topic to become a club member so you can be notified when a new activity has begun. You don't need to let me know when you join, leave, or re-join. There is no requirement to participate when activities are posted. If you don't like getting notifications often, you're welcome to be a member without following the topic, too! I hope you enjoy and have fun. :-)





The purpose of the Dozen Club is to garner a sense of community and add more life to Egg Cave by introducing unique and engaging activities!

Some activities will be held here, others will be held in their own separate topics in the respective forum. Once an activity is announced here, there will be a link to that new topic if necessary. If you have a question about an activity, please ask it on the activity's respective topic (or DM me).



Fairness, integrity, and consideration are vital principles within the Dozen Club.
For contests, please always look at every entry before deciding on who gets your vote.
Only vote from your main account. Do not congregate other people to vote for you or your friend's entry.

Each new activity posted will also have its own dedicated rules and requirements.
If circumstances arise where a new rule could be beneficial, I will add it and update members here!

It's not against the rules to only participate in activities that benefit you, like with free items or currency, but I will narrow my eyes at you. ;-)



There is no requirement of participation.
Each activity may require a minimum number of confirmed participants to begin. So if that number of participants is not reached by a stated date, then that month's activity will be scrapped. Follow this topic to join the club so you can be notified when the first activity is announced!



Yes! You're welcome to ask general questions here, post comments, chat with others, and/or post the optional Eggshell intro blurb. Since Eggies will receive a notification for every new post in this thread, and you may not prefer that, you are welcome to still be a member even if you aren't following this topic (see section below).

If you have a specific question about an activity that was announced here, please try to go to the activity's linked respective topic instead to ask your question. That way, it will keep things organized and could help other players if they have the same question about that activity.

I've really been enjoying reading everyone's eggy bios ^^
Fun seeing the unexpected and expected, and loving what a diverse group we have.

And I was so eager to feed the critters where attention was requested I almost forgot to do the feeding contest first (with so many eggs in it, it's easier to do that first to make sure I fed all that need to be fed.)

@okami hi old buddy! : ) I love the Festive Birds too. The blue and green are my favorite of the set. I've been trying to snag up as many spares as i can afford when I seen them. (Have a feeling they'll retire in the next year.)

@matcha I'll always have a soft spot for the Zuid. When members were tossing around ideas for CRW and Counties came up I threw out the idea for krill to represent Antarctica... I didn't imagine in my wildest dreams it would happen. (penguins are so much more popular.)
So it gave me a smile to see someone appreciating them. But like wow... Favorite?! That's awesome ^^

@merit the part about listening to podcasts about shows you don't watch gave me a chuckle. there's a show I started watching and one of the characters is constantly making pop culture references to TV shows and movies she's never watched, and in one episode she tried outsourcing someone to watch something for her >.< (Are Cliff's Notes still a thing? I feel like the internet makes that obsolete. I wonder what the film equivalent is. Reaction videos on YouTube?)

Can totally relate to doing a deep-dive on something for short periods of time trying to find out everything I can about it, then moving on to the next thing that catches my attention.
I think one of the most fascinating creatures alive is the Coelacanth, more so the fact that where most creatures have evolved and adapted to a changing earth, it has remained practically the same over thousands of years and still survives.

I joined Dozen Club because: It seems like such a lovely fun and wholesome time!! I’ve never part of an eggcave club and have always felt like it was something I missed out on. I get really sad a lot of time thinking about how much fun I had with my friends on eggcave back in like 2012-2015 and how much of a community there was, and it’s something I miss a lot (especially since most of those friends are long gone). I’ve been looking for ways to bring back the eggcave “magic” I used to feel when I was a kid and I’m excited to give this lovely idea a try 😊
