Genuine question, though:

What exactly is wrong with people posting comments on your side? You can:

a) not acknowledge them/(briefly) point the user to the correct location
b) delete them

I'll admit I'm a bit turned off by people with big 'I WILL BLOCK YOU IF X/Y/Z' in their statuse...

I like to randomly gift items, sometimes because of a specific thing:
say, someone says they wish they had a Biwo, so I'd send them a Biwo Plushie.

I just wish I could send a little message with the gift, and maybe have it displayed in a present box for you to open, especially around the holidays...

I would prefer a character limit increase, since that would fix the main issue on its own. It just feels kind of silly to be trying to type a message to someone for their wall and have to break it up over 3 or 4 messages. >,O

As long as you're inside your home you should be safe! Where I live, the storms normally surround my house and target the mountains that reside a few km away. I normally try to tape the storms with my sister's camera too, but so far none of the videos I have are good (or even has a bolt)...
