Its not like the site will go into disrepair. Eventually its going to get to the point where they're super rare again. Because of people who quit, hiatus and end up never coming back. And then other things.

Yeah true, when people see the Egg Cave advertisements, the creatures on them are retired. I was looking at that a few dats ago. People think those creatures are cool/cute, they join, then find out they cant get it unless they pay a lot of money.

But with every decision ever made, there's always a percentage of people made happy and a percentage made unhappy. And a re-release has happened before so the "keep their word" thing cant really be used cause its already happened ya know...

As I approach on a year with this site I envision my participation with egg cave as week to week or month to month with short term vision because of my personal situations I can not really consider that I'll still be on egg cave next year much less 3-4 years ...

I realize I may be an outlier ......

With all of this, it can be discussed maturely if we talk about what's good or bad for the site, not for what's good or bad for us as users. Or maybe a little of that mixed in, but not like...with shots.

If people want things, they can work towards them. This site has done very well for 6 years now with retiring creatures and making new ones, and if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Only every month when creatures are advertised to be "gone forever." So unless forever means a couple of years, that it the sites word.

And people can still perfectly enjoy the site without having every creature they possibly want. And newbies now will have rare creatures in a coupl...
