@jlya yes the sorted by month would be incredibly helpful.

@orderedchaos Thanks for informing us! i figured as much but the point on the social-aspect of it may prevent/discourage some users depending on the type 😊 tysm for the feature by the way, super excited !

Orderedchaos • 1 February 2023 at 1:45 PM

Thanks for letting us know about this, there are bound to be some weird bugs with a new feature. I've let Ian know about this and he'll take a look and see about fixing it.

jlya • 1 February 2023 at 1:33 PM

I 100% agree with @dragrawr:
- Minimize and move dailies box UNDER main sidebar.
- the wall posting is not the greatest, perhaps make it posting in forums since many people prefer not to have wall posts.
- the idea of donating is lovely and I would LOVE to do it
- I'm alright with the Alkub raci...

@mars
I'm still waiting to hear back on my idea for at least doing the same with CRWs, but that (sorted by year, and then month) is DEFINITELY a feature I'd use on Eggcavity if it weren't implemented here. (Or even if they organized it better over there ; ) )

snowywinter • 1 February 2023 at 1:15 PM

@heatherm19 Oooooooh, this sounds really useful!

I probably wouldn't use it often as I *usually* only bid on one or two auctions a month (I had to have set a personal record last month!) but it just sounds like a common sense feature. Even as you described it I could sympathize. Having things ou...

Hello!!

First I wanna lead with my happiness because the dailies are wonderful!!
- 100 cc is very fair
- the challenges are mainly easy and quick to complete

Now my feedback:
- much prefer to minimize and move dailies box UNDER main sidebar. It’s frustrating to have clicked in a certain p...

Corphex is my favorite of already re-releaseds. Sadly it was Rrd the month* I joined and I had no plans on ever shelling out any money on the site other than for a LoV. I had no idea how much I'd want one or how difficult they'd be to get my hands on later. -_-

('month' being generous, as I joine...

I am personally pretty disappointed Am I the only one on here that wants to interact with people? ☹️

Everyone is so nice why does no one want to talk to anyone? I thought it was because of the lack of activity but I guess that’s not true just everyone wants to play solo?
☹️ well as long as ever...

snowywinter • 1 February 2023 at 10:53 AM

Hearing all the complaints and justifiable points made about people having real life taking precedence, I think @alraune3 suggested a workable solution. Instead of having to do tasks on X number of days, have X number of tasks to complete total.
(I think it could be done in blocks so that the syst...

idol • 1 February 2023 at 10:47 AM

I just wanted to chime in on my opinion.
For all those commenting you don’t want post on your wall or have to “forcefully interact with people”

I would argue most of us are pretty friendly on here especially if
Maybe you just sent a friendly message like “hey I’m just doing a quest sorry to bu...

heatherm19 • 1 February 2023 at 9:50 AM

I really like what @alraune3 suggested about the requirements being a number of tasks to complete, not a specific number of days you have to complete all the tasks. Especially at a number like 25, that leaves at most 6 days of wiggle room. I know a lot of people on here are school-age and I've seen...

I will be honest that after I read the part about verifying my account with a valid phone number I stopped reading and any fleeting interest I had went right out the window.

Why? First off I play on a desktop. Secondly I have no cell phone, smart type or not, so I am excluded for that reason alon...

mindwhiper • 1 February 2023 at 7:43 AM

So I decided to give a little feedback on the challenge, which I can note right away. I prepared myself, specially made measurements of the time it would take for clicks and feeds or other things, then I began to count.

Well, if you work with a PC, then it will take about 10 minutes for all the d...

kataclysm • 1 February 2023 at 4:18 AM

I'm enjoying the concept so far! I'm thrilled to see incentives to use site features more, like the click exchange, and I hope to see the exchange flourish as a method to level up our babies once again.

All that said, I do feel like the rewards for completing daily quests are a bit lacklustre? 43...

heatherm19 • 1 February 2023 at 3:01 AM

Now that I'm thinking more about the different tasks, I'm wondering if this would be a good reason to make certain profile-relate things official? Specifically, some official thing on our profile (maybe in the box where joined/friends/etc is) saying if our cove is feed-friendly or not. And possibly...

snowywinter • 1 February 2023 at 2:29 AM

I was going to wait the requested time, but I figure this would only get longer as the days go on.
(and I really want to close my oopsie thread.)

My initial thoughts.
(I start out sounding quite grumpy, but assure you my overall opinion of the Monthly Challenge is positive.)

I'm sure I'll have more thoughts after a few days, but my initial impression is I LOVE THIS. One of the things I immediately noticed and liked was that it's not *just* about getting CC at the end of the month. I think the small ec rewards for each task is a great little incentive, and I like the ide...

Hey everybody!

It's finally here! The Monthly Challenge is now available for verified main accounts. We'd love for this new feature at Egg Cave to be guided by the community to create something that's challenging but ultimately fun for everybody.

This thread is meant to serve as a centr...

@idol

I think there's a difference on the seller's price and the buyer's price maybe?

The fanbase of eggcave since the migration of the neopets people in 2011-2015 (?) Has really decreased. With less people, means less CC going around. From what I see, barely anyone is going to fork out more...

Wow, just got my first Zuid since release day. I thought I had more (probably since I've seen so many around the site,) but this is only my 3rd!
Still no Alcrash, but I'm fine with that having got a couple Gleggo ^^
(Still only one Unixi.) (Edit, had to correct that, realized one of the two, I had...

@lbowe_elbow Thanks for looking into the voting/browser issue! ^^

Oof... I don't think I got to the last round.

The Bolgfir & Manekii are both 'creatures' I desperately want and have had no luck in obtaining. They're so new though I doubt they'll get a release anytime soon. (The whole point of Re-Releases is to make the really rare creatures somewhat obtainable again.)
That being said, I'd really like a Rai...

heatherm19 • 26 January 2023 at 3:31 PM

I love the idea of showing how many users are online, in fact when I first joined I was surprised the site didn't have a feature like that. Personally I'm just always curious how many others are around the same time as me, especially since this is an international site with users in very different t...

daisycat • 26 January 2023 at 3:24 PM

@lbowe_elbow
100% agree! This is on my list of quality of life ideas for the site / things that aren't on here yet that seem like they should be after 10+ years. :x

jlya • 26 January 2023 at 2:12 PM

@nut
I love the idea of having the number of users online!! It would be nice to know how active the site is at certain times, especially when asking a question or posting a trade in the forums.
As others have stated, I'm indifferent to the idea of listing usernames. I think the number would be suf...

Hello I'm new!

About me: I'm 28 years old. I use Discord a lot and I love to game. I'm married and work at home. Anyway, nice to meet you! Can't wait to jump into this site and have some fun!

snowywinter • 26 January 2023 at 4:44 AM

@nut
I FULLY support seeing the number of users online.
(Was actually discussing this with another player in the past few days.)

Another site I'm on has a real-time ticker(?)* on their sidebar and I love it.
I think here it would fit nicely right under the Social Media links, Log...
