So, I think we're all aware that the forums are pretty dead, and I think that's largely in part due to how... Unrewarding? It can be to write here. It's faster to just post on walls, it's more visually interesting, etc. Buuuut, I think if we borrow some techniques from sites like GaiaOnline, we...

@groove_goat thanks for posting, glad it's not just me. Wonder why it's happening :\
groove_goat • 23 March 2022 at 9:42 PM
I was wondering if it was just me. If it's happening to you too it might be site-wide then, I've been having a similar problem since last night.
lobstertheremin • 23 March 2022 at 2:45 PM
I've been noticing that since last night, pages are taking a while longer to load than they usually do, which is making feeding a bit more difficult. Is it just me, or are other people experiencing the same thing? If it's something that is being worked on already, sorry to bother.

So I'm new to eggcave, I've only been here about a week. My honest feedback on the site? There are so many creatures and it's so exciting when you first start because whatever you like, you're bound to find a creature you think is cool. Awesome until you realize that most of them are old/cost ir...

Apparently @aroundtheworld18 posted here since I got a notif for it, but the post isnβt showing up. So either the post got removed by a moderator, deleted by the poster, or thereβs a glitch on my end.Edit: Clicked on the username, and got an error page stating that βWe could not find a user by thi...

Thank you very much! I really appreciate you taking away that blocking feature, it is very very awesome!

I just read @iia's comment on another suggestion thread and thought that it would be good to copy paste some of her thoughts here:now its just desperately trying to find a player that will sell you their extremely inflated ccrare creatures ca...

(I don't have time atm to read everyones response but I figure I'll still add my 2 cents)First of all, I do agree that this site has become a bit stagnant but it seems like things are picking up. We've had a few updates to the site (donations center) recently. So I won't harp on that much.He...

@aquafaba and @hinokazes THANK YOU. and @myriadium thank you too. thank you all so much for agreeing and hinokazes and myriadium for coming up with really good detailed points. this site really is dying and it really is pay to win/pay to be able to enjoy anything abt this website and mods and staff...

Quoting @kataclysm here because I think she put it well π"I love this idea a lot. Given how many creatures are dependent on CC, it seems like an accessible and free-friendly method to encourage users to be more active. Imagine how incentivised people would be to trade for EC, to join auctions,...
aquafaba • 21 March 2022 at 8:26 PM
@hinokazes thank you for your post, I agree with a lot of what you said."you can't call this game free to play AT ALL. First of, you can't because every month, half of the pets are behind a paywall, and it's worse now with the re-releases. And no, being able to win 500 CC for the anniversary, an...
aquafaba • 21 March 2022 at 8:15 PM
I am also hoping to see @prairie's idea implemented soon, or some other way to get CC by playing the game instead of just paying. It's frustrating to see "CC only" all over the place. Please make the site nicer for free players, @ian! It will bring in more people and make players like me more intere...
lobstertheremin • 21 March 2022 at 2:15 PM
@kataclysm I agree with you, most of the site's creatures require cc to get, as people who want to trade them only want cc. I hope @ian will look into this soon π

@sonny Sorry, saw your ping the same day you posted, but was too tired to answer something, and then I was constantly forgetting to do it. I'll try to give my thoughts for every point :1 : Games tabI do visit it, because site trivia can give me 10K EC most of the time. As someone not clickin...

I really like this site and would love to be able to access more of the content on here through time spent and hard work. Whatever that looks like, I'll be happy with it. If it's something like daily missions, that sounds fun and interesting. But if it's something simpler like @prairie's suggestion,...

@mastergemma when i signed up i was 13. what 13 year old reads all the terms and conditions? i made one mistake and got full on banned for two whole weeks. im just saying i could have at least gotten a warning instead of a suspension- and now by banning me, youve lost a long time player not JUST bec...

@jirachiwishmaker , all really great ideas. there is really next to nothing to do on this site! breeding creatures would be so cool and making creature shops would be so great for this site. same with making double feed days twice a month or maybe even three times a month. this site is just so borin...

@sonny I'm all for changes on this site because I do believe that it has been stagnate and still no results. Like the click exchange used to be able to perform very well in leveling up creatures, now you're lucky if you can get a few clicks on yours cause even though you got lots of credi...

@sonnySome sites are seriously strict about off-site trading, some are lax. Not really sure why off-site trades are banned here butδΉβ Λ η Λ βγRules can be frustrating. I am interested in the names Udders, Bumps, Nicknamed, Indoors and Gaslighting. Would 50-100 CC be enough for them?
riceboysleeps • 15 March 2022 at 9:21 PM
@sonny Thanks for your post. I agree that the games should be tweaked to make them worthwhile. I do trivia every day and the lottery when I like the CSPs, but that's about it.I also agree that dream coves are pretty unobtainable for newer players. I think that having a way for players to earn CC...
structuresfromsilence • 15 March 2022 at 8:57 PM
@ian Any update on this? I would love to start earning CC through site activities. I'm sure you're busy, but we'd love an update when possible.

two weeks ago i made a post trying to off-site trade. in the post i detailed why i was trading my stuff for the other website and exactly what was wrong with this one and why i felt the other game was more worth playing. i even mentioned in that post that i spent irl money on the other website after...

ill still be around, just dont have a lot of interest anymore. this site has stagnated a lot and it kind of hurt that someone who has played for as long as i have gets banned for two weeks over a rule i didnt even know was a thing. i could have been given a warning and told not to do off-site tradin...

@kataclysmI'm doing pretty good so far, this site is very easy to navigate on my phone too
kataclysm • 14 March 2022 at 7:29 AM
Hi @suzanab! You can use the ecode to get to grips with what you can do in terms of editing your profile text. Marquees and font size/type are out of the question, but I think for a site like EggCave, simpler is better. π
sonny • 13 March 2022 at 11:56 PM
at this point dont feel very interested in this site anymore and dont see myself doing much but log on to get new cave monthlies and then log off. that being said im willing to trade away a lot of my stuff.links to trades with things im willing to sell:https://eggcave.com/trades/results?userna...

Hi everyone! My name is Gabrielle, I'm 23, and I'm a vet student and animal lover. I found this site on Chicken Smoothie (I'm spacecowboy on there if anyone wants to add me), and thought it seemed neat. πI love music, reading, movies, and just about anything creative (I can knit, quilt, and mak...
