@solaris Congratulations =) It must be amazing to have been on the site since the beginning. It's also nice to see an old player celebrate the years they've spent here. There have been too many threads on the forums about users leaving recently.

Hopefully we will be collecting cool creatures for...

Already a subject on this
'Do I need a special...something?'
https://eggcave.com/forums/topic/75599

But yes, there's plenty of people who still haven't received any eggs.
(I did get one, the... P?-site rock thingy. After about 70 tries. I've had way more tries than that since.)

@suzanab

My father hated that i took to stuffed animals, but they were my favorite toys. Any virtual pet site I join that's usually one of the things I collect the most of too. (The best part is the infinite space. lol)

(I didn't want to seem like I was bragging, but with 90+ items I wasn't g...

snowywinter • 18 July 2021 at 11:52 AM

@suzanab Yes, most keychains are usually toys on this site. (If you ever want to be sure, you can right click or tap and hold on an image and open it in a new tab. Or open it from inventory and it will tell you there. I just find the right clicking on image to be easier.)

Thanks for sharing you...

@rowans_treehouse

Hey I'm surprised no one has come given you a proper hello/'Welcome Back' yet. How rude. 😋
(The forums seem like a ghost town even to me since I've returned after two months.)

Yay for people that aren't picky about pronouns! 😃 (me too. ...Though there's the awkward mome...

Day 1 (16th)
The second item Ambassador Thrakhis had sent was a Cathy Plushie, something I've wanted since the first time I seen one on the site. (Before I even found the real Cathy)
My fourth item was a postcard. I love postcards! Giving and receiving them irl.
And later a Star of Bethlehem tr...

Mostly TV shows. (Most are in-between seasons though, so this is recently past and future viewing.)

I just want to say, I'm so proud of this community. Yesterday for a couple hours you kept the donations going pretty steady in the Donation Center. Good job on taking something and putting something back in (or just plain simple generosity) !

(I agree, to me transfers seem so much easier than trades.)
Just so you know, buying the Username Change Terminal, you can change your username every 30 days. (o.O Not my idea of a good time, but to each their own. The site lets people get their money's worth out of it at least. I'v...

Planning on making up a 100% feed friendly cove (today.) This would use up my 4th slot. I had planned on using that for a project years from now when I have the rest of my cove just the way I want it. (Already have a name picked out for that theme.)

If I plan on getting rid of/migrating...

As the title says, I've been kicking around for a long time now, but I don't come visit like I used to. I still love this site, but I'm not present enough to truly enjoy or grow my collection, so I've narrowed down to a small list of creatures to keep for myself, but LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE is up...

watercress • 6 July 2021 at 4:44 AM

@snowywinter THAT'S SO NICEEE THANK YOU SO MUCH!! 😃!! But you definitely have a point, I think a lot more writing and lore-involved stuff on the site would help it feel a lot more like an actual world, and possibly even help it grow even bigger! ^^ Thank you again, your words mean a lot! ❤️

snowywinter • 6 July 2021 at 12:44 AM

@watercress

The way the lore of the site is woven with your own creativity is really beautiful. It felt natural and is really well written. It reminds of of the types of entries that were accepted as part of the newspaper on Neopets. I really wish this site had something like that. I didn't a...

I aspire to someday be a Traveler
but, I'm too much of a Banker right now. lol

On my way to being a Hoarder. :,( I didn't want to be. When I started, my goal was to only have up to two of each creature I like. Then I was like 'oh, maybe I'll keep a few more around for peop...

Hi there @northbound. I'm new here as of earlier this year and go on hiatus about as often as I'm active. I can spaz on replying to people, awkward at socializing, but have been told I'm friendly.
I feel like I'm late to the EDM scene, but I do find much of it enjoyable. (I was introduced to it...

Hey, sorry to hear your quitting! May I adopt your Holoton and Doro if they are still available? Thanks and hopefully you had fun on this site ❤️

lilacblack • 28 June 2021 at 1:13 PM

Is the interface of the site looking weird for you too? Like old internet, blank page lots of links and just one line of text to the left of the screen?

It's working as usual again. Sorry, I think it was me.

@Orderedchaos

okay, thank you 😊

I guess I'm still *that* new. lol. Was used to seeing them every few days. I didn't know it went this long btwn them sometimes.

Orderedchaos • 18 June 2021 at 7:17 PM

@snowywinter
This is not a bug. There are more picture based trivia questions queued. This just happens to be a run of non-picture trivia questions. Sometimes that just happens happens.

snowywinter • 18 June 2021 at 6:58 PM

Since the last issue I reported (now over a month ago,) there have been no blurry pics. Not sure if they got turned off in the fix to the other issue or if it was intentional? (If it's the latter, then this is feedback, and I REALLY MISS them.)

Howdy! The name's Rowan, I go by any pronouns so you can call me anything you like ^^ (they/them, she/her, he/him, it/its, neopronouns, I don't mind) I played Eggcave a good 3 years back and, unfortunately, after losing interest in the site, I found I'd been locked out of my account since I now use...
