@zikitty [i]- To make a side account, all you need to do is create another account (which also means that you'll have to use a new email). They allow you to have an extra place to store creatures if you want or needed it (storing immortals, hoarding specific creatures, etc.). You're allowed to have...

I'm wondering what those are and how to create them, since they seem to be popping up on the site everywhere.

Also, how do your creatures die?

jlya • 8 July 2020 at 12:56 PM

@mochy-bun
Welcome back! ❤️ I would definitely say for the long run invest in a Leaf of Vaka. Using Snaplinks and CTRL W (like novrain62 said) makes for crazy fast feeding that you barely have to think about. I rarely feed my creatures, so I find the OCCR to be really helpful. You can find out more...

novrain62 • 7 July 2020 at 11:58 PM

Welcome back. I find blocking images for the site really helps making feeding faster; then you can unblock the images when you're finished feeding. Just click the 'lock' up there in the browser before the eggcave link.
Also you can get an app like Linkclump or Snaplinks to make feeding easier. The...

She shook her head "you can, but it's pretty much a water bomb, now away!" She said as she traveled towards to camp site

This would definitely be a great option! When I'm cave farming, I normally keep a tab open for the cave and go do something else for twenty minutes or so, but these cave notifications are annoying as well. I normally cave farm at 12am, so I get notifications the first thing I wake up, along with the...

@sparklefox

I deeply remember all of that, to the point that I didn't even know I remembered them until you mentioned it lol

I do remember the days of spamming the blog posts so we could all communicate with each other before the forums existed, fun times were had sitting and refreshing hopin...

@pwuffy i 100% agree with this :/ it's sad to see that we're to blame for lack of rerelease when we actually want the rereleases and to be very honest i have never seen the community being super against rereleases?? maybe a few people but thats just the minority so its just weird how ian says that t...

@mightyeglantine [i]- Happy early birthday to your cove. The fact that this site has been around for over ten years now is crazy, it really doesn't feel like it's been that long. Time surely does fly.

Your post is bringing back so many memories. Remember when we used to use the comments on blog p...

Happy (early!) 10th Birthday on EC! I've always admired and felt ever so slightly jealous of those who've been part of sites for such a lengthy period of time, I think 10 years ago I was playing outside or simply didn't know of the existence of sites like these which is a shame.

I only joined a l...

July 3rd is my cove's birthday and this year it'll be hitting double digits by finally turning 10 years old. It's kind of crazy to think I've been around for so long.

Does anyone else remember the old forest green themed site?
Anyone remember the Calla being a new and elusive creature?
Comme...

Honestly, I'm extremely disappointed in people who are against (well thought out and sensible, not just mindless) re-releases because I feel it's the selfish greed that makes people say "oh dont make more of these creatures because then i wont be able to sell this very same creature of mine for a ri...

pwuffy • 29 June 2020 at 12:16 AM

@izziebee1017 according to the site guidlines here: https://eggcave.com/guidelines you can have 1 main account and 3 sides 😃

pwuffy • 28 June 2020 at 2:56 PM

so, its been about a week since this thread was created (and this discussion has been ongoing for YEARS anyway) and i feel that yet again we are going to be left in the dark.

there's something i've been thinking about lately and i think its worth mentioning because its been on my mind ever since...

Lance frowned. Kayne stepping on apples is taking it a little too far. When Yoshi says she sees apples as her friends, she literally means it. She spends a ridiculously amount of time with inanimate objects.

Yoshi felt a pang to the heart. It's true that her love for apples were ridiculous, but...

Oh I just accidentally found this thread but you have my full support... Soon it will be a decade since I've been actively playing here and though only halfway did i reach the point of adultery where i was able to gain my own money and afford to pay on games, I never actually managed to buy CC. As an "oldie", and as someone who rather infamously waited six and a half years to find an UFT onny, and then did not stop bidding until I passed the 80,000 CC mark, I certainly have some thoughts on this.

As of June 10th, my nine year eggcave anniversary has passed. In that time,...

@sinthr why i mainly disagree with the unlimited 500cc re-release thing is that yes that will be good in the short-term since everyone will be happy since we can all get our dream creatures but this will affect eggcave negatively in the long-run since nobody has to trade anymore which is one of this...

I'm very partial to the idea proposed in another thread of having CC mystery boxes in tiers: one set of 250 and 500 CC boxes (or priced slightly higher, like 350 and 600) that give a creature from a pool of all the CC creatures that were released in that month, and another set of boxes that is price...

Hello, I'm new! I'm pretty active on pet collectable sites like chickensmoothie and dragon cave, so I decided to check out egg cave too! I can't wait to start and meet everyone c: I'll see you around the site!

froot • 21 June 2020 at 9:50 PM

@sinthr agreed! I don't buy cc anyways. This entire trading system is flawed. You have the oldies who have EVERYTHING, and the new players are absolutely helpless. And these there's us in the middle, with not enough to sell and not 'poor' enough to be given stuff. It's kinda horrible tbh.

We're...
