A few hours later, they began the new treatment. The unicorn said that they would be rubbing different spices into the mane's of test subjects in order to test how they affected the pony's hair. She nodded again, not really paying attention to what the unicorn was saying. The unicorn nuged her and said that they would start by using salt and pepper, and would she please handle the pepper? Finally something registered in her mind.Salt and pepper... A shape floated in her mind.Pepper... An image of a pony surfaced. He was deep red with a black mane, a stark contrast to all of the ponies in the spa. He was scowling at her, but she knew he was just faking it.Pepper!!!!Lightning Bolt shot back to life, her eyes darting around the spa that she now realized was just a prison for the ponies inside. More images filled her mind. A black unicorn with a blue and purple mane, nervously looking around as she muttered a lie. Midnight Splash! A strange changeling hybrid looking serious as she buzzed in to answer question after question on Tickles and Troubles. Umberisk! A lonely black pegasus filly introducing herself after Lightning accidentally hit her in the face. Shadow! And grumpy Pepper, who had put up with Lightning since Discord had arrived, and who Lightning had to admit she had a crush on. She had abandoned all of them to be trapped with the spirit of chaos forever just because she wanted to go home. Her cheeks turned bright red with embarrassment about what she had done. There was only one thing she could do.
sstwinz • 28 June 2013 at 5:45 PM
Lightning took off into the air and flew for the second floor, leaving the surprised unicorn by her station. She landed on the balcony and began opening doors, searching for the Anti-Elements. It didn't take her long to search all but one of the rooms. A large, well-decorated wooden door stood in front of her. It was the same door that the mare had walked in earlier. Lightning dreaded a direct comfrontation with her, considering how the mare made her feel. Even right now, as much as she hated the mare for bringing her, she still felt the urge to just give herself up and let the mare's beautiful voice wash over her. She ignored that part of herself and strode into the room, hovering slightly above the ground so that she would be at eye level with the mare. The mare was standing over a desk, looking at some papers. She turned as Lightning opened the door and looked at her without recognition. "What is it? Is there a problem at one of the stations?" She addressed Lightning with a cold, blank stare. The mare's voice was still beautiful, and she was still georgous, but Lightning realized that it was empty beauty. "Well?" The mare asked, becoming impatient. Lightning hauled back and socked the mare in her beautiful jawline. It felt great.

@whitefire Ahem, ' "Just so you know, those are shape-shift proof. You can't just escape by becoming cats or whatever." '. But I guess becoming wolves is ok for now. 😊@ems @sandstorm99 @sstwinz @magentaDiscord's award winning smile shrank down into a frown. He produced a low growl out of annoyance. "Oh, how witty! I'm sure your precious musical number is going to get you lots of fans. Am I right, ponies?" The sound of studio laughter erupted. "Now Pepper and Midnight, are you ready to play?" He questioned, blatantly ignoring Shadow's cries."Whatever." Pepper said, thinking hard. A reality show? One where people voted on their least favorite pony? He was not going to be good at this."Yes." Midnight knew that was a total lie, but maybe her unhonest habits could help win her some viewers.Ok, here's the plan. I'll make a new topic just for votes. I'll copy everything that happens here on the island over to there, but I'm going to remove everyone's names. Based on the order you write from first on the island, you will be Pony 1, Pony 2, Pony 3 or Pony 4. This is to remove bias, because some users are friends with some of us, and might just try to keep their characters alive because of that. Does this sound good? 😃
whitefire • 28 June 2013 at 6:27 PM
@SStwinsI was thinking of it as more of a cage that adjusts depending on what they morph into. Like, if Umber were to become a fly, the bars would turn to glass and cover the whole thing so that she couldn't get out.
sstwins • 28 June 2013 at 6:52 PM
@whitefire Ok, that'll work! 😉
whitefire • 28 June 2013 at 7:05 PM
@SStwinsOkay, and the plan sounds great! By the way, my friend's coming over, so I won't be on tonight.
ems • 28 June 2013 at 11:09 PM
@sstwinz@whitefire@sstwins Sounds good to me! ^^ Wait, Discord only addressed Midnight and Pepper. Is Shadow not playing since she won the last game, or because she's being a brat, or is Discord just ignoring her?--Shadow glowered, falling silent as she realized she wasn't leaving. She shouldn't have trusted the creature. No, he was evil. There was no other way he could be. And he lied. Just like Shadow knew everypony did. She laid down, curling her legs under her. Fine. She'd play. And she'd win. And then she'd trot on back to her little house in the Everfree and make sure nopony ever made her feel happy again. Because the whole thing was a lie. All of it. In Shadow's young mind, it was better to feel nothing than to live a lie. Or was it? He lines had begun to blur, slowly but surely, and Shadow began wondering if false happiness was better. As long as she believed it... It was good, right? The filly pushed those thoughts away, drilling in the familiar mantra in her mind."It's all a lie."
sstwins • 29 June 2013 at 2:23 AM
@whitefire @ems Longer post coming soon, I promise! And I'll set up that other topic either late tonight or tomorrow morning! (Oh and ems, Discord's just ignoring you, you're still playing!)@sstwinz I forgot to mention that your post was amazing!!! 😃@sandstorm99 @magenta"Ok, ponies, here is a map of the island." A projection appeared on the wall across from the cages. "Study it carefully, you won't get much of a chance to see it again."Pepper looked at the island. It was in the shape of a pony, with thick vegetation in the middle and sandy beaches along the head, tail and hooves.
ems • 29 June 2013 at 12:18 PM
@sstwins Okey dokey lokey!@sstwinz Your post made me squee. X3@whitefire--Shadow stared silently at the map, doing her best to memorize it. A pony island. Prison for ponies. How ironic. She gave a silent sigh of deafeat. Ok, she was going to this island to play a game. Time to put on her nice face again. Or rather, cool it off. For whatever reason, she'd becom more hostile than usual, and she didn't like it one bit.
sstwins • 29 June 2013 at 8:56 PM
@whitefire @ems Ok, new topic coming now for the game show voters! 😃@sandstorm99 @sstwinz @magentaMidnight examined the map, eyes squinted. It almost looked like a pony!"Has everypony taken a good long look?"Pepper was busy thinking about where he should stay while on the island, when Discord snapped and made the image disappear. He'd decided on a spot on the cutie mark of the 'pony', where the vegetation looked a little darker and thicker then the rest of the island.
sstwinz • 2 July 2013 at 8:34 PM
@sstwins@sandstorm99@ems@whitefire@magentaLightning is so confused right now. I had forgotten how long it's been since she left! Also, I love the voting idea, even though Lightning still has no idea that they're being filmed! 😃A few minutes later, Lightning was wearing five necklaces and a crown and the mare was lying on the floor, knocked out. Lightning could be a pretty good fighter when she wanted to. After giving the office a quick once-over, Lightning blasted out of the room, heading for Canterlot. She only got as far as the roof of the spa before she stopped and looked back down on all of the ponies who were imprisoned there. They all used to have lives like her, ponies who cared about them and missed them. She realized that she couldn't just leave them and flew back down to the ground level. But as she looked into the empty, lost eyes of the ponies, she realized that there was nothing she could do to help them. They were trapped within themselves, and they would either find the strength to break out of it or be imprisoned forever. With one last regretful glance at the ponies, Lightning flew out of the spa and headed towards Canterlot.
kennedy • 2 July 2013 at 8:35 PM
Fifteen minutes later, Lightning was about halfway to Equestria's capitol. Unfortunately, not much had changed and Ponyville looked almost more chaotic than it had before. Still, Lightning was making a good pace and was flying peacefully towards the deserted city. She was still trying to come up with a good plan for what she should do when she got back to the castle, but the sun was so warm and the sky such a nice shade of blue that her mind kept wandering. She was particularly thinking about Pepper, and how silly he looked when he was angry. Lightning chuckled a little to herself. He was such an Anti-Kindness. The thought struck her like a bolt of lightning and she actually forgot to flap her wings and started falling like a stone before she caught herself and quickly flew to a cloud to sit down. Why hadn't she realized it before? Pepper acted like the Anti-Kindness because he WAS the Anti-Kindness! Her head began to spin as she thought of the other ponies that had been with her in the castle ballroom. Midnight Splash, who always looked shifty and kept telling lies was the Anti-Honesty! Umberisk, who was always serious was the Anti-Laughter! And Shadow, who was lonely and didn't know friendship was the Anti-Magic! With Lightning as the Anti-Loyalty, that meant that she had been in a room with a total of five bearers of the Anti-Elements! How could she have been so blind, when everything was right there in front of her?
sstwinz • 2 July 2013 at 8:36 PM
Lightning probably could have sat on that cloud, dumbfounded, all day, but she needed to get moving. The urgency to get to Canterlot was now far greater now that she knew how important the other ponies were. She took off in a burst of air that turned the cloud into water vapor that showered the ground. In a matter of minutes, she had reached the empty city and began to feel the pull of the gravity bubble that surrounded the bearers of the normal Elements of Harmony. She landed and began struggle walking just as she had the last time she was here, each step harder than the last. After a while, she was able to reach the castle and force open the heavy doors. Her hooves felt like rocks on the end of her legs. A few painful steps later she was in front of the ballroom door. She was about to enter when she froze. She hadn't really thought of what she was going to do when she found the other ponies. She didn't even know what she was going to find in there! There was also the thought that she had basically abandoned them all after she won Tickles and Troubles. They might all hate her now! But she didn't really have a choice. if they really were the bearers of the Anti-Elements, she would need them to defeat Discord. She sucked in a deep breath and poked her head through the door. Midnight Splash, two wolves and a bird, Shadow, and Pepper all hung in bird cages that were suspended from the ceiling in a half circle facing Discord. Lightning, needless to say, was completely and utterly confused. She was trying to come up with a plan to sneak in and get the others without letting Discord know that she was there when she realized that she was exactly opposite the room from him, meaning that Discord was the only one in the room that could see her. So much for her perfect plan. Now she just had to sneak out and hope that he hadn't noticed her yet. She was almost out when the main castle doors, which had been closing very slowly because of the gravity bubble, slammed shut with a huge booming noise. Lightning grimaced. Her plan wasn't going so well.

@whitefire @ems The island is coming soon, I promise!! 😊@sstwinz Nice to have you back! Awesome post, by the way!!@magenta @sandstorm99 "Look who it is!" Discord shouted and furrowed his eyebrows. With a sharp flick of his wrist, he magically dragged the pale white and blue pony into the ballroom until she was dangling in front of him. He said in a singsong voice, "It's the little pegasus who ran away and abandoned her friends to a lifetime of play."Midnight felt a shiver run down her back as Discord said the words. They weren't exactly special, but the way he said them made her feel sick and worried.Pepper had gone into a mild shock phase at the sight of Lightning. She'd come back!! But, then again, she was just trapping herself into their same situation. He remembered, too late, to conceal his emotions. Discord had caught sight of him when he turned to face the bird cages, and was now starting to grin. "I almost forgot about Pepper!" He threw Lightning away from him, melting and reforming the bars of Pepper's birdcage and imprisoning her with him. "Two lovebirds, finally together. This is just too romantic." Discord dabbed at his eyes with a handkerchief that hadn't been there a second ago.
sstwinz • 3 July 2013 at 1:33 AM
@sstwins@sandstorm99@ems@whitefire@magentaLightning's finally back!! Meaning, no more long three part posts!!! Yay!"Look who it is!" Lightning tried to dig her hooves into the floor as she was pulled by Discord, but he was too strong. Soon she was hovering in front of him, helpless. "It's the little pegasus who ran away and abandoned her friends to a lifetime of play." Lightning winced and turned her head away from the Draconequus as the words hit her. Her face burned. How could she think that the other ponies would just accept her again, after what she had done? Discord suddenly turned around, spinning her and making her dizzy. "I almost forgot about Pepper!" Lightning was thrown roughly into the birdcage containing Pepper and landed in a heap in the corner, rocking the cage. "Two lovebirds, finally together. This is just too romantic." He dabbed at his eyes. Lightning slowly regained her feet while still keeping her head down. She couldn't look at Pepper. She knew what she would see, the unbearable hatred on his face. A strand of very pale blue hair fell in front of her face, reminding her that she wasn't the pony she used to be. She gradually brought her eyes up to look at Discord, her face still red with shame.
sstwins • 3 July 2013 at 1:48 AM
@sstwinz You can just feel the emotion building!@whitefire @ems @magenta @sandstorm99 Discord rolled his eyes at Lightning. "You look like someone put you in a 9,001 degree oven. Relax a little. We're all friends here, right?"Midnight didn't really feel friendly towards anypony here, but she knew that now wasn't the time to mention that.Pepper suddenly felt an urge to push Lightning's pale mane out of her face, to hopefully stop her fragile emotions and make her smile, but now was defiantly not the time to mention that. He put a frown on his own face, in case any cameras were on him.
ems • 3 July 2013 at 2:15 AM
@sstwins @sstwinz Eep! Cuteness! Also, Sstwinz, your three-partners were lovely. ;3@whitefire--Shadow refused to look at Lightning, the proof that friends were a load of horse apples. So she came back. What for? It's not like they were *friends*. Her mind hissed the word like acid. Shadow cringed. It was true. Shadow had no friends. Except for maybe these ponies, but it was a lie anyways. Just like Midnight's lies. Her face settled into a neutral expression. There was no need for her to be pouty or rude to Lightning... So she sent a small, sympathetic smile her way. Hopefully the mare didn't feel too guilty. It wasn't like she hated them of anything... Right? And even if she did, Shadow didn't really believe in feeding that hate. No need to go hurting anypony over petty stuff like that. Nopony had to like Shadow. Nopony had to like anypony. But, Shadow digressed. She'd traveled far enough from her original thoughts. Shadow just remained silent now. A small, new feeling crept in though. Perhaps it'd been there all along, and Shadow didn't notice it until now, but all the same, it was there. A small prickling in her heart. Loneliness. Shadow finally realized just how alone she was. And she bit her lip. Now was not a good time for tears, or any sort of emotion, for that matter. Still, she let one small tear slide down her furry cheek. It left a thin trail of salty wetness, and she wiped it away quickly, hoping nopony saw. Shadow hoped nopony realized how she herself had realized just how hurt she really was inside.
sstwinz • 3 July 2013 at 2:19 AM
@sstwins The emotion is crazy!!!!@sandstorm99@ems Awwwww, Shadow is so cute!@whitefire@magentaThese posts are all so short! The freedom!!!Discord rolled his eyes at Lightning. "You look like someone put you in a 9,001 degree oven. Relax a little. We're all friends here, right?" Time seemed to pause for a second as Lightning looked into Discord's eyes. "Right." She said finally in a soft voice, and dropped her eyes back down to her hooves, and the ground below.
sstwins • 3 July 2013 at 2:33 AM
@sstwinz @ems Island on my next post, I Pinkie promise!!@whitefire @magenta @sandstorm99 Pepper felt his heart cringe at how weird Lightning was acting. Something had happened to her in the few hours while she was away. Midnight glanced around at all of the ponies in birdcages. Pepper looked angry, as usual, though he was looking at Lightning Bolt with sadness and longing in his eyes. Lightning was acting submissive and depressed, with eyes downcast. Shadow's eyes were a turmoil of loneliness mixed in with small shreds of happiness and understanding. She didn't even want to consider the thoughts of the other 3 ponies in the room. It was funny how well Midnight could read other ponies like books, despite the fact that she was never honest with herself."Right then!" Discord clapped his hands together. "Let's get started!"
sstwinz • 3 July 2013 at 2:38 AM
@sstwins What are these hands you speak of?@sandstorm99@ems@whitefire@magentaLightning stayed looking at the ground for a few moments more before Discord spoke again. "Right then! Let's get started!" He said, clapping his paw and claw. Lightning's head shot back up. "Wait. Started with what?" She asked nervously. She felt like they were all about to play a game that everyone knew the rules for but her. She suddenly grew very, very nervous.
ems • 3 July 2013 at 3:20 AM
@sstwinz xD Thanks.@sstwins Okies.@whitefire--"We're going to an island. And Equestria's voting off their least favorite ponies." Shadow murmured in return to Lightning's question. Slowly she was retreating back into her shell of despondent quiet. Soon she wouldn't have to feel lonely, because she wouldn't feel anything at all. It was slightly comforting, yet overall depressing. She shed another silent tear, resting her chin on her hooves as she lay completely down. Why did she hurt? She hadn't hurt before...
sstwins • 3 July 2013 at 11:06 AM
@sstwinz @ems I told you!! Just have some dreams for now so Discord can wake you up in my next post!@whitefire @magenta @sandstorm99 "No need to spoil it all for Lightning, Shadow." Discord cackled and rubbed his hands together. "Yes, you're going to an island, but you won't know any of the rules!" Pepper decided then and there to tell Lightning what was going on as they reached the island."Now then, my little ponies, close your eyes."Pepper tried to stay awake, but his vision started to blacken.Midnight was having the same experience. She collapsed on the floor of her cage, with many other ponies following her.Discord grinned at the camera. "And away. You. Go!" The ponies all vanished from their cages, to appear on a sandy beach far, far away.
ems • 3 July 2013 at 11:18 AM
@sstwins Okey dokey lokey! Lol, Discord's so charismatic.@sstwinz @whitefire--Shadow felt her eyes ease shut, and welcomed the sleep as time away from the world. She dreampt of spring meadows and friends playing tag. She laughed and played, feeling carefree... It was wonderful. For once, Shadow wasn't worrying over what the other fillies were thinking. Then she realized her mind was teasing her, rubbing what she couldn't have right in her face.
sstwinz • 3 July 2013 at 5:35 PM
@sstwins @sandstorm99@ems Aww, I wanted Lightning to be totally clueless. Oh well. 😊@whitefire@magentaLightning has very bad dreams.Lightning struggled to keep her mind alert as Discord spoke. She needed to stay awake so that she could find out more about this island that they were going to. However, she soon felt her eyes begin to close.Lightning was sitting on a soft cloud under the bright blue sky. She felt very calm and at peace. She heard a soft swoosh of wings behind her and saw deep red hooves enter her field of vision. She looked up, startled, and saw Pepper standing on the cloud behind her. He looked the same as always, but had wings and a smile on his face, which was very strange for him. "Pepper?" Lightning asked, confused."Yep, it's me." He replied, his grin growing wider."How are you flying?""I made a trade for wings. So now we can always be together.""That's... amazing!" Lightning was shocked. "What did you have to trade for them?""Not much, I got the spell for free. But it needs one thing to complete.""What?""The heart of a white pegasus." His grin growing maniacal, Pepper reached behind him and brought out a long knife. Lightning's gasp turned into screams as he stabbed her over and over again. She fell off of the cloud, and the dream dissolved into blackness.
sstwins • 3 July 2013 at 6:30 PM
@sstwinz @ems Island time!! 😃@whitefire Get over here and post!! 😉@magenta @sandstorm99 Discord had transformed the palace ballroom into a control center. Along the walls were monitors of various sizes filming every part of the island. He had an extremely large control panel in front of him with buttons of varying sizes and colors. He spoke into a microphone that echoed all across the island. "Time to wake up!" Pepper's eyes shot open. He'd been dreaming about ripping every member in the group to pieces. It wasn't exactly PG and it wouldn't be his way of killing them if it came to it. Pepper was one for a clean cut, something that kills a pony without making an enormous mess of blood all over.Midnight woke up from a sleep where she could only tell the truth. Everypony hated her as they learned how much she'd lied to them for their whole lives."Now, look around. This is the island you'll be spending the next several days upon. Challenges will be given randomly. Some will be deadly. You have been warned now to split up. Larger groups will attract more challenges."No one had to tell Pepper that twice. Splitting from the group was his plan all along. "There is a pile of supplies in the middle of you all. Take what you need in the next 30 seconds and go. Any ponies left here after that time will be 'removed' from the game. Do you understand?"
ems • 3 July 2013 at 11:37 PM
@sstwins @sstwinz @whitefire--Shadow woke up abruptly in the middle of the discussion."--warned now to split up. Larger groups will attract more challenges." Shadow didn't really like the idea, but she didn't want to deal with anything more than she had to."There is a pile of supplies in the middle of you all. Take what you need in the next 30 seconds and go. Any ponies left here after that time will be 'removed' from the game. Do you understand?"Shadow nodded, standing up and preparing to charge for the goodies. She wasn't going to lose... She just had to leave.
sstwins • 4 July 2013 at 1:48 AM
@sstwinz @ems @whitefire Freebie time! You can get anything you want, so long as its not outrageous. @magenta @sandstorm99 @sstwinz That was one creepy dream, by the way. Brrr! 😱"And... go!"Pepper started a count in his head. '1, 2, 3..'. He raced to the stack of items and riffled through it, noting that other ponies were doing the same. '10, 11, 12..'. He snatched a sword with a curved blade in his jaws. Not his first choice, but he knew that he was running out of time. He grabbed a couple of knapsacks and a box of crackers as well, racing off into where he thought the island's cutie mark was. '24, 25, 26...'Midnight had also raced to the stack, though she didn't count in her head. All of her brain was focused on what to get. She leaped up and grabbed a net in her teeth, yanking it to the ground. She placed a bag of apples into it, along with a loaf of bread, a flashlight and a lime green backpack that was close by. She tied the four corners of the net into a messy knot and zipped off, dragging the bag in her teeth behind her.
ems • 4 July 2013 at 1:58 AM
@sstwins Yay!@whitefire @sstwinz--Shadow cantered up as fast as she could, grabbing the heaviest set of saddlebags she could find, along with a small dagger. Who knew what she'd need that for... Oh well! Better to be safe than sorry! Lastly, she rolled a sleeping bag on her back and began to trot off slowly. Had she grabbed to much? Better safe than sorry. She could set up a small campsite anyhow. And that's just what Shadow did in the dense forested area of the pony island's "muzzle", quite close to the ocean. Her long hours of carrying her heavy supplies had paid off, and the young pegasus dropped her bags, heaving a sigh of relief. Now, to see what was in those bags."Rope, food (enough for a couple days if I ration it well), an empty canteen, matches and a small rock that looks like it can sharpen my dagger...." The filly noted to herself. How could that small amount of things be so heavy? No matter. She replaced all the items she'd travel with in the saddlebags - the rope, rock, and canteen - and stuffed the rest into the rolled-up sleeping bag. With the dagger in her mouth, Shadow wondered whether or not she should get on the move. No challenges.... Yet.
sstwinz • 4 July 2013 at 2:44 AM
@sstwins @sandstorm99@ems@whitefire@magentaLightning awoke slowly, totally disoriented and still scared from her dream. Discord's voice rang around her, making a buzz in her ears. She knew she needed to focus on what he was saying. She tried, but she was still groggy. Something about challenges and supplies. Discord began counting and the other ponies ran up to the huge pile of stuff in front of them, which she had somehow managed to miss entirely. She guessed that she should get some stuff too. She began to fly over to the pile, when she felt a twinge in her wings. It really hurt, way worse than the wing craps she used to get when she was first starting to train for races. She fell out of the sky and landed painfully on the ground. She decided to walk to the supplies. She had just reached them when she heard Discord begin to count into the twenties. Didn't he say something about only having thirty seconds to get the stuff? He was on twenty five right now. In a panic, Lightning grabbed a few random objects and ran off, folding her wings to keep them from twingeing.Once she had gotten a reasonable distance away, Lightning decided to see what she had grabbed. She had a rain parka covered with pictures of rubber ducks, a box of crackers, a flashlight with no batteries, a fake prop sword, and a slinky. Well, at least she could eat the crackers. Lightning opened the box and a bunch of fake spring snakes popped out, fluffing her mane up around her face. It was just one of those fake cans used for pranks. Annoyed, she threw the can away and it bounced off a couple of rocks. Now she was sitting in the middle of a forest surrounded by junk without being able to use her wings and expected to play a game that she didn't even know the rules of. She would have screamed in frustration, but that would have let the others know where she was. She had at least figured out one thing about this game, and that was that you had to stay in. She couldn't get voted out, whatever that meant.
sstwins • 4 July 2013 at 3:03 AM
@sstwinz @ems This is really too much fun!! 😃@whitefire @magenta @sandstorm99 Pepper trotted a short distance away and stopped to check his belongings. He had gotten 3 bags along with the sword and crackers. He opened them one at a time. An emergency blanket, a pack of matches, a bottle of headache relief pills, and a whistle were in the small orange pack. The large blue bag contained a inflatable beach ball, a rain jacket, a ball of twine, a pair of maracas wrapped in bubble wrap, two tins of jam cookies, and a pirate hat. His last bag, a purple one, had a water bottle, a flashlight (with two extra batteries), a bottle of toothpaste, and four knee length socks of varying colors and patterns. Pepper was tempted to throw several of the items out, but you never know what you might need!Midnight had wandered down to what she thought was the hoof of the pony, but could easily be it's back. She sat down and opened her net. The bread thankfully was still in the plastic packaging. The flashlight had batteries, and the apples were mostly not bruised. She finally turned to the green backpack and flipped it open. Inside was a package of mane clips, a bottle of orange juice, some rain boots, a package of tent stakes, and a water purifier. Midnight gave a sigh of relief at the last item.
