She would need something to eat soon. She quickly set tied the empty cracker box, fake sword, slinky, and flashlight in the parka and picked the bundle up in her teeth. She would rather have used her wings to carry it, but they still hurt whenever she tried to open them. Satisfied, she moved off into the forest to look for some kind of food.A few minutes later, she came to a small bush with bright red fruit on it. She remembered her dad telling her that red berries were poisonous, but ponies ate raspberries, which were red. And currants were red. Actually, these berries looked a lot like currants. Maybe they were. She decided she might as well try one of the berries and set down her bundle, grabbing a berry and crushing it between her teeth. She almost spit it out. It tasted like cake! She ate a few more cake-berries, then decided that she should wait for a few minutes, just to make sure that the berries weren't poisonous.Fifteen minutes later, Lightning had determined that the berries were not poisonous. She filled the empty cracker container with cake-berries and stood, wondering what to do next.

@SStwins@SStwinz@EmsFiiiiiiine, I'll post.---Umberisk rose to her paws and, quickly regaining her senses, trotted over to the huge pile and sorted through the items with quick precision. But really, what did she need? She had claws for fighting and hunting, there were streams for drinking, she had long fur to keep her warm... Anything she grabbed would add to her load, and Umberisk preferred to travel light.Growling at how much time she had taken, she snatched up a box of crackers and tore off into the forest, searching for a place to get her bearings.

@sstwinz @ems @whitefire I'm going to start telling you where the sun is on every post. 😊@magenta @sandstorm99 The sun is high in the sky, it's barely starting to sink.Pepper packed up all of his items into his bags and set off again in a trot. He wanted to be in a good sleeping place before nightfall.Midnight poked around the area near her. A lot of trees, and a small dirt patch where she had checked out her loot. She decided to try and make a hammock with the netting. She brought an edge up to a tree and tied it on, doing the same with the other edge on another tree. She then climbed in and tried it out. It was pretty uncomfortable, but it would work for now.Discord hit a few buttons on his control panel. A small army of spiders began to creep down over Shadow's head.

@SStwinsThanks! That should help with the Umber/Aster situation, since they're gone now.@SStwinz@EmsUmberisk was glad she had decided to travel light; carrying a box of crackers with her tail was no problem, but if she had to carry anything more it would have certainly been a struggle. Umber and Aster had disappeared, so she only had to worry about herself... for now.

@sstwins Shadow is unamused. I take it the spiders aren't poisinous?@whitefire @sstwinz--Out of nowhere, suddenty there were hundreds of spiders all over Shadow's head and face. She let out a blood-curdling scream - as spiders were one of the things that she feared most - and began pounding at her head with her hooves to kill and dislodge the tiny critters. Once they were all gone, Shadow shuddered violently and decided to set up her camp, pacing back to her stuff with shaky hooves. She could sleep in the tree and tie herself down so she wouldn't fall...

Suddenly, millions of spiders appeared above Shadow. They lowered themselves down gently, and started to weave a cocoon around her. Discord's voice rang down. "Your first challenge, Shadow. Stay alive."Pepper had reached what he was pretty sure was the pony's cutie mark. The jungle was thick here, good for protection. He was scouting for a cave or something when he heard Discord's voice echo over the island. "Your first challenge, Shadow. Stay alive." Yikes. Well, too bad for her. At least Pepper didn't have to worry about anything yet,

@sstwins ... Easy enough. XD@whitefire@sstwinz--"Easy... Enough!" Shadow shouted through the webs. Crap crap crap! Stay alive?! This was deadly?! Shadow began cursing under her breath as the cocoon grew thicker and thicker, blocking the noise from outside. Shadow's breathing became shallow. Millions and millions of spiders would feast on her. The filly shuddered, getting the willies from just thinking about it! She could barely move, but was able to wiggle her saddlebags to her muzzle and rummage through them. What to do...That's it!Shadow struggled to yank out her dagger from the bag, grinning. Perfect! She knew it'd be useful! Shadow started to saw at the growing web with ease, slicing through it as though it was butter. With her life on the line; fear was not an option, and the creepy-crawly spiders became the least of her concern. In a minute or so, she was out; drinking in the cool air while spiders began to swarm her body again. "Nope!" Shadow growled, pushing them off and starting to squish them.

Oh, and please forgive me if this is god-mod, you have to go to the web to defeat the spiders!Shadow's squashing attempts weren't keeping the spiders at bay. A large force of them ten thousand strong grouped together and fell onto her, pinning her to the ground. A few spiders took her knife and saddlebag, while the rest all wound her up in webbing. They hoisted her up on thousands of tiny spider legs and carried her to their enormous web, throwing her on until she was stuck.

Shadow wanted to get help... But hadn't she left everypony behind? All the same, she pondered her last option for a moment before sighing in defeat. The webbing was too strong for her to rip through, and she no longer had any sharp objects. The spiders weren't going to be squished either."Somepony help!" She shrieked, sure that nopony would hear her. She was under thivk layers of webs, and too far away anyhow.

Hadn't Discord come on the speakers a while ago and said something about staying alive? Midnight couldn't remember. She sat for a few moments before she realized that she could never live with herself if she let Shadow die. With a sigh, she wrapped up her stuff in her net, and started trotting towards where she thought Shadow was.Discord pressed a big green button on his keyboard. All of the spiders suddenly raced away, vanishing in the shadows of the forest. The sound of heavy feet hitting the ground began to slowly approach Shadow in the web.

@sstwins Oi, shadowing me in mystery, huh?@sstwinz@whitefire--Shadow whimpered as she heard some large footsteps begin to approach. She could only imagine what she was in for next, and she was sure she wouldn't like it. Now Shadow's only hope was to be rescued by somepony who'd heard her cry (very unlikely), or be somehow freed by whatever was coming and hope to find her dagger before she was eaten or otherwise killed. Shadow took a deep breath and decided to play the waiting game. She couldn't do anything else anyways.

The filly had grown quiet, and she wanted to see why.The footsteps grew closer to Shadow. The figure reached over and tugged at a loose string above the filly's head, which released her and unwound the cocoon. The giant spider grinned (impossible feats are compliments of Discord!) and began to lunge at Shadow.

@sstwins Oh joy. You should know that I'm deathly afraid of spiders. XD@sstwinz@whitefire--"Oh come on!" Shadow yelled, and dove out of the creepy spider and it's impossible grin. Her head swung, the filly's eyes searching in vain for her lost items. She wouldn't find anything under this amount of stress. Shadow gritted her teeth, not paying enough attention to notice approaching hoofbeats as she prepared to charge the beast.

@whitefire @sstwinz @sandstorm99 @magent@ems Ha! I posted!! This was on an I-pad though, my keyboard still isn't working. 😱Midnight finally reached Shadow. The scene she observed was scary, but not unsurprising. It was Discord who was creating the challenges after all. Shadow was facing off against a giant spider. She looked like she she was preparing to charge the spider, which would be suicide. The spider would just wait for her to get close enough, then bite her and inject poison or something. The only way to defeat the monster would be a surprise attack. And Midnight was in the perfect position to do that. She figured that it would be better for her popularity if she saved Shadow, and then maybe they could form an alliance! Before Shadow could take her first step forward, Midnight leaped forward onto the body of the spider. With a war cry which was more of a terrified yelp, she struck down on its neck, hearing a large snap and a fizzle. The head of the giant spider was dangling from a strip of artificial skin. The wires that had been holding the robotic head must have all snapped with Midnight struck down.

@sstwins Wait, is it afternoon or evening?@sandstorm99@ems@whitefire@magentaI posted!!! I'm not dead!!!Lightning looked up at the sky. The sun was beginning to lower in the sky. She probably needed to set up camp before it got dark. The cake-berry bush was in a small clearing, so she decided to set up camp there. She gathered some pine needles from the surrounding trees and set up a small bed. She untied her bundle using her teeth and set the parka down on top of the needles to use as a blanket. The rest of her stuff was kind of useless, so she just set it down next to the bed. She kept the prop sword close to her though. Maybe the other ponies would think it was real and wouldn't come close to her. She felt a little thirsty but passed it off as nothing. She could try and find water tomorrow. Without much else to do, she curled up on her parka and tried to relax. She heard some yells and cries, but ignored them. There probably wasn't anything that she could do anyway.

Now the audience could find her weak.... Either way, the filly was extremely grateful for the help. Blinking a few times, she turned her gaze to the unicorn."Uh.... Thanks?" She laughed nervously, "That was... Unexpected."

"No problem. It was easy." That was such a lie. Her muscles in her front hooves were still all achy from the force needed to strike down on the spider's neck. "Do you want to set up camp together?" She placed her net on the ground. "I have a few supplies, we could maybe make a hammock. Did you get anything good?"

I got a lot of good stuff, actually, but I need to locate it. Dang spiders were just all over... They took the dagger I got. Anyways, I already set up camp over this way!" She gestured behind her.

Midnight face-hooved in her head. She had meant to say food and a flashlight. "Let me just go get them.. horse feathers! I lost them when I trotted over here to save you!" Midnight groaned.Pepper, meanwhile, was setting up camp. He strung the emergency blanket over a taught vine, making a tent like structure. He brought all of his supplies in, as well as himself. He was getting a little hungry, so the red pony popped open the box of crackers and ate a few. They tasted okay, just a little salty.

I hate having a limited time to post, and I feel so over-powered being a shapeshifter. I don't really have much time anymore either, so I can't be as active. I have NO motivation for this at the moment, and the limited time to post just makes me want to post less. I feel so bad for making you guys wait only to disappoint you, but I just really don't want to do this anymore. Sorry. But if I get motivated later I might come back as a normal, non-mane six pony, though I'm not sure I'll have the motive later. So yeah, sorry, but I'm done here.
