@sstwins Oh yay. XD@sstwinz@magenta@whitefire@sandstorm99--Shadow finally got the courage to push her mane out of her face. Oddly enough, she didn't even glance at Lightning. She didn't beg, she didn't plead. Just simply waited to hear Lightning's choice and reason. She watched various items float through the air, and wondered what 'fun' Discord had for the losers.

Umberisk sighed, half-relieved, half-tired. She had no reason to leave, nowhere to go. In PonyVille she would be prosecuted for her Changeling roots, as she would anywhere else. So... Whatever happens, happens. She deserved punishment, if that's what Discord meant by "fun."

I kind of wish I had lost now! @sandstorm99 @ems @whitefire @sstwins Sorry guys, you know, Anti-Loyalty and all that.@magentaLightning looked around at the ponies near her. Shadow, Umberisk, Midnight Splash...even though she hadn't known them for very long, especially Umberisk and Midnight Shadow, she still felt an inner connection to them. And Pepper...she looked up at the deep red earth pony. He had a slight frown on his face. Lightning guessed that the laughing gas was wearing off. How could she choose just one pony to take with her, and leave the others to whatever 'fun' Discord was planning? She struggled with the decision for a few quiet moments before a thought occurred to her. She didn't have to choose anyone! She could just leave them all! Somewhere, deep in the back of her mind, she knew that this was a bad choice, but Lightning didn't care. She took a deep breath, steeling herself up for what she was about to do. "I choose...no one." She said, looking up at Discord. "Just drop me off back in Ponyville." She turned slightly away from the other ponies. She couldn't bear to see their faces.

"Good luck, you know, finding that pony to give all those necklaces to." She said, yet she was terribly confused. /Ah well. Just proves your theory on friends./ She thought to herself. /Over-rated, fake, selfish. A perfect description of a 'friend'./ And Shadow could only hope that someday she'd be proven wrong.

"Good luck in PonyVille!" Umberisk called to the departing pony, smiling widely. "And congratulations on winning!"She was happy she hadn't been chosen, whatever the other ponies wanted. Now she was free from the PonyVille Ponies' cruelty.But wait... Wasn't that... Selfish? If the Ponies in PonyVille enjoyed hurting her, then wasn't it selfish to want to leave them? She didn't have any feelings for Pepper!! Unconsciously, her cheeks began to heat up. "Wait, Pepper?" Lightning said, laughing loudly but slightly nervously. "I don't have any feelings for-" A bright flash of light surrounded her, and she was suddenly back in Ponyville. "-Pepper." Lightning groaned. She looked around her. There were clouds made of cotton candy raining chocolate milk everywhere, and buildings were floating at random heights. Lightning watched a group of the razor-winged birds pass by with narrowed eyes. She began to rub her chest a little, remembering when she had been cut open by one of the birds. Ponyville seemed so...crowded. There were ponies everywhere! Lightning had never been claustrophobic, but she began to feel a little boxed in. She saw a dark blue pegasus run by. Lightning cautiously approached her, perfectly aware of the stares she was getting because of the necklaces and crown she was wearing. She reached up and poked the mare on the shoulder. "Hi...I'm Lightning Bolt." Lightning said cautiously.

Everypony, come make a circle in the center."Discord snapped his fingers and teleported the ponies in the room to the center in a circle form."Well done. Now, we are going to play a game called Lie Lie Truth. To play, we will go in a circle form. Shadow, then Pepper, then me, then Umberisk, then that other mare, whatever her name is, and back again! The point of Lie Lie Truth is that one pony will say three statements about their past. Two are lies, one is true. The next pony must guess which statement was the truth. Then the first pony must answer either yes or no to their guess. You cannot try again if you get the truth wrong. I suggest that you all focus on the game thoroughly, for this information may be useful later on. And, of course, I will know if you're cheating!" Discord rubbed his claw and paw together. "Now, let's play!"

Pepper was mean again, Lightning had deserted them, and Shadow began to worry that she'd sit in this stupid little circle forever, bending to Discord's will because she had no other choice; talking to furniture to dispel her boredom as her mind twisted into madness. /You deserve it anyways./Shadow imagined herself as an old crazy mare cackling along with Discord, who grinned evilly and gave her imaginary self a pat on the head. "Alright Shadow, go get ready for the tea party." He'd say, and the old Shadow would stumble off into a corner where she'd talk to herself while Discord tried not to laugh. Shadow shook the thought away.

You'd better catch up to her, if you want to talk to her!!Lightning waited a while for the mare to respond, then gave up and walked away, the Elements clanking around her neck. Why had she waited so long? Probably another one of Discord's games. She wandered aimlessly around Ponyville for some time, taking in the chaos around her. She saw ponies running from giant salt and pepper shakers, and others nearly being crushed when flying houses randomly landed next to them. She let out a heavy sigh, not knowing what she felt so sad about. It felt like there was a heavy weight on her heart. What was it??? Was it someone she had left? A ghostly image of some ponies floated before her eyes for a second before fading away. Lightning shook her head rapidly, blinking a few times. What had she been doing? She looked down and saw the Elements around her neck. Oh, yeah. She still needed to find the Bearers. She trotted off, ignoring her slight headache.

Even if it was kind of true."I choose to pass on the truth and lies, sacrificing my turn for the greater good and speed of the game. Now, Umberisk, it's your turn. What secrets are you hiding?"

Umberisk shivered as a shock of cold tingled down her spine. She suppressed it and began to speak. She had had what she was going to say planned out already."I am mentally stable. I cannot shapeshift. I live with Mommy and Daddy." Her face remained steady and calm, her voice never wavering. Her eyes were cold, calculating. She began to speak again, only to stifle a cough as the shiver came again.Umberisk's eyes widened as she began to choke on her own being, transforming into something different, something not her. Suddenly she paled to the colour of snow, falling to the floor as though the gravity no longer affected her. She was devoid of any sign of life, neither hue nor heartbeat pulsing through her coat. And in an abrupt motion, her changeling wings were replaced with those of a bat, her coat deepening to the darkest shade of black, her bluer markings going red. Her special tail spiked and deformed, shuddering to take the form of a cruelly serrated red knife as though already tipped with blood, and fangs, sharp and evil, poked out of her lips.Her eyes opened.They glowed red."Who is Umberisk?" she asked coldly, spiking out her tail threateningly as she glared at the embodiment of chaos.@SSTwins It's fine! ^w^@Ems@Sandstorm99@Magenta@SSTwinz

She said quietly. She shuddered at the scary creature. It... Or she, was worse than the Timberwolves in the Everfree Forest. Maybe it was because it was intelligent, that it may torture its victims, or maybe it was the malice Shadow thought she saw glinting in its eyes. Shadow tried to to gulp.

Umber whipped around to glare at Shadow."No," she snarled. "There's a BIG difference between me and that coward. Just because she spawned me does NOT mean I am her."Slowly, but surely, her form began to melt around her. Her glowing red eyes grew more pointy, more aware. Her bones cracked as her DNA recombined itself, twisting into a form that it knew all too well. Her limbs lengthened, her snout elongated itself, her tail forming into something more solid. Her muscles twisted sickeningly, her posture shifting into positions that shouldn't be physically possible for any living creature. She grit her lengthening fangs, forcing herself to stay silent during the whole painful process. She had chosen this, after all.And then it stopped.Before them all stood a lean, battle-hungry wolf, with wings that spread out threateningly and a long, knife-tipped whip-like tail that could kill with one slash. For once, she prayed that Discord--as irritating as he was most of the time--would use his chaotic powers to stop this thing. It would kill. It would torture. Shadow saw the hate and evil in its glare. The filly's wings stretched out nervously as she backed away slowly, taking a careful and quick glance at the embodiment of disharmony. But her eyes just as quickly fluttered back to the new threat. "Hm. I thought only cowards killed. It takes much more courage to resist the urge to kill, rather than bending with it. I think you're more of a coward than Umberisk." Shadow said, in hopes of distracting the being before realizing that she'd just called the thing a coward. /Wonderful. I'm doomed./ She thought dryly.

Umber laughed. "Coward? No. I'm scared. I'm scared, not a coward. There's a difference. You'd be scared, too, if you saw half the things I've seen. If you had the Nightmares. If you watched your parents be murdured. If you've been tied down and slashed for something you can't control. If you've been forced to live in a box for your whole life. If you've slashed yourself for being so. Bucking. USELESS. If you've woken up from a nightmare that turned good only to find somepony else's blood on your hooves."Tears had started to prick at the corners of Umber's eyes. This was not like her. @whitefire yay. Too loud? .-.Blah... If you haven't gotten the pings by now... Eh.--Shadow saw a flicker of pain in the new Umberisk. "Well... My mommy didn't even love me. I haven't killed anypony... I know I don't have it as bad as you do... But killing won't make the hurt go away. Hurting yourself won't make it go away either... And you might find that you aren't as useless as you think you are. Sure, friends are fake. They don't really love you. But you... You don't need them, do you? You can find ways to be happy without love. I don't need it." That was a flat-out lie; Shadow wanted love. But she hid it behind fake smiles and laughs, behind lies to herself. "If you lie to yourself long enough... One day you might believe it." She whispered.

However it was the wrong kind of chaos, it was the kind where ponies got physically hurt and stayed hurt and games quickly turned into nightmares. He decided then that he had to stop Umberisk. With a snap of his tail he slowed the rhythm of time across all of Equestria. Discord sent tendrils of his chaos out to everywhere in Equestria seeking hopes, dreams and love. He then brought the chaos back, and with it the other things. He then began to weave a large golden unbreakable bird cage out of the goodness in the room, allowing tiny whispers of hope and peace seep from his bars. Discord imprisoned the blood-thirsty wolf Umberisk in it. The cage flew back into the air, anti-gravity restored, and time resumed again."Now, Umberisk, you've broken the rules of fair play. Thus, you are now imprisoned. But this is no ordinary cage. It is created from the dreams, love, and hope of everypony in Equestria. Pretty serious stuff. Now, as long as you remain outside of your normal form or continue being nasty as you have been, you must stay in the cage. But I'm sure that, given time, the beautiful whispers of peace from its bars will subdue you. However, you must still play the game, cage or no cage. So," Discord clapped his claw and talon together, "other mare, it's time to guess."

"SHUT UP!!!" Umber roared, glaring daggers at Discord. "And for the last time, I am NOT Umberisk! I am Umber! I am insanity! I am DEATH!"Suddenly Umber felt her gut wrench. She was going to end up shifting. She was going to be Umberisk, or even worse, ASTER, if she didn't do something.But no shift came.Something was wrong with her. Something was terribly wrong. It had nothing to do with the cage, rather something to do with what was contained inside. She began to jerk violently. She hacked, forcing out blood. Then her form melted, violently. This was normal shifting. She wastwisteddyingbreathingbleedingconsciousunconsciousgoneShe was a wolf... A cat... A fox... An Umbreon... A pony... A dragon... A phoenix...'Too fast... Too... FAST...' This was not what was supposed to happen, shifting so quickly, no solid form... And then she was Umberisk, and then Aster, and then Umber again, shifting between form and person in less than a minute.She let out a keening wail, eerie, haunting, pained. The pitch rose and fell in agony, cracking on occasion.@Ems@SSTwins@SSTwinz@Sandstorm99@MagentaMay have to go to bed now, guys.

@whitefire D: Poor Umber/Umberisk/Aster.@sstwins It makes sense. XP--Shadow stared at Umber. Pity filled her. "Stop! Discord, you're hurting her!" She shouted. /What?! Nopony cares for you... What are you doing?/ Shadow just couldn't stand the sound of crying. Reminded her of herself, all those years ago, screaming in the same way, calling for help.

@sstwins @sandstorm99 @ems @whitefire@magentaLooks can be deceiving.Lightning was trotting around trying to find the Bearers when she felt a weird sensation. It was as if time had slowed down for a few seconds. She felt something non-tangible being pulled from her chest. It was an odd sensation, almost as if she was a hat and a magician was pulling a rabbit out of her. It didn't hurt, and she didn't feel like anything was different afterwards, but it was still odd. She shook it off and continued her trek. She approached a young dark red colt with black hair who was currently glaring at a pretty pink filly with blond hair. The colt was a unicorn, and the filly was an earth pony. The colt didn't have a cutie mark yet, but the filly had a large white bow as hers. Well, he looked pretty mean. And Lightning didn't have anywhere better to start. Maybe he would end up being the perfect Anti-Element of Kindness. She gently stepped up behind him before tapping him on the shoulder. "Hey," she said as the colt turned to look at her. "My name's Lightning Bolt, what's yours?" As he met her eyes, she could feel a large twinge behind her forehead. He looked a little like somepony she used to know. She tried to focus in on the face that swam before her vision. His name was something that started with a P...or was it a B? She couldn't remember now. The colt beamed at her. "Hi! My name's Moonlight Sprinkle! I'm 7 years old, and I love to bake! My favorite food is cupcakes, and..." The colt proceeded to ramble on and on about every subject under the sun. Lightning didn't get it. He had seemed so mean! "Wait," Lightning said, cutting off Moonlight, who was talking about his favorite sports teams. "Why were you glaring at that filly over there?" "Oh, you mean Silver Ribbons?" The colt asked, his face slipping into one of annoyance. "I was just mad 'cause she brought everypony in class a cookie today, but ran out right before she got to me! And she KNOWS how much I love baked stuff! One time, my mom baked me this pie, and she was leaving it out on the windowsill to cool, and right when it was almost done, two other colts came up and..." He continued the story, but Lightning had stopped listening. This pony wasn't going to be an Anti-Anything. She sighed. "Nice meeting you, Moonlight." She said before wandering off in a different direction.
