..."Discord..." Rainbow had to stop to catch her breath. "... corrupted the Elements. They won't work for us anymore. I need you to find six ponies who represent the Anti-Elements of Harmony. You'll need an Anti-Loyalty, Anti-Kindness, Anti-Laughter, Anti-Honesty, Anti-Generosity, and Anti-Magic. So for the Anti-Loyalty, you'll need a pony who doesn't have a lot of friends, one who has a hard time committing to things, maybe somepony who moves a lot." Lightning's heart sank as she heard Rainbow Dash describing her. Was she really so bad as to be an Anti-Element? Rainbow was looking at her expectantly, so she nodded. "Thanks Lightning, I knew I could count on you." With these last words, Rainbow laid her head back down and closed her eye, obviously exhausted from talking. Lightning moved slowly across the room and took the Anti-Elements from the chair, sliding the necklaces onto her neck and putting the crown on her head. She felt a small tingle from the Anti-Loyalty necklace when she put it on, which made her feel even worse. With the extra weight on her neck and head, she could barely hold he head up, but managed to crawl out of the door and back to the stairs. Well, it looked like she had a big job ahead of her. Better get started. Lightning began crawling up the stairs, formulating a plan to find Pepper.

Pepper didn't really notice a change at first, except that maybe that the air was poisoned now and he was starting to die. 'Always the optimist.' He thought to himself, and he started to giggle. "Hee heeee, optimist! That's a funny word!" He spoke out loud. Discord grinned at him from below.
"Sooo, how are you feeling, Pepper?"
Pepper choked down a laugh. "Great! I feel better than I've felt in years! Weeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!" Pepper zipped around the room, finally enjoying the anti-gravity. A tiny vague corner of his brain was telling him that something was wrong, that he shouldn't be this happy, but Pepper ignored it.

Pony type (earth pony, unicorn, pegasus): Earth-Zebra
Personality: kind of untrusting of others but family, has a huge wall when it comes to new people, always thinks someone is out to 'get her' so generally paranoid, despite the fact that when people ARE honest and caring, she can FEEL it, but she doesn't BELIEVE it. Being around any magic makes her feel sick, that's why she is sensitive to it
Appearance (color scheme, picture optional!): Zebra, but with full mane
Background (if you have one ):Born physically weak, had the ability to tell truth from reality for a long time, so always knew when others would say 'hope you feel better' when she was sick, she could tell they didn't really mean it, as they would go off and play and tease about her in the end, so she grew accustomed to not trusting anyone, hence why she doesn't even believe in her own powers. Still sickly, has never met any pony other than her Zebra clan, so scared about coming to Pony Ville.
Other: Zecoura's youger sister, comes in to visit, notices some odd things with her 'strength' (hence my excuse for late RP entry)

@aloriality Normally I'd say yes automatically, but I was just about to make a post for characters we're looking for! If you've been following along with the RP, Lightning and Pepper must use the anti elements of harmony to stop Discord. Lightning's going to take loyalty and Pepper's going to take kindness. So Araksha must either represent the opposite of laughter, generosity, magic (friendship), or honesty. If she isn't the opposite now, she has to almost exactly represent the element so she can be Discorded later on. Ping me if you are up for the challenge of changing her character a little! 😊

Lightning Bolt made her way slowly up the stairs. They were way harder to get up then they were to get down. In the meantime, she needed to come up with a plan to find Pepper. She knew that he was somewhere in Canterlot already, from when she saw him hanging around with Discord. Of course, if he had been talking to Discord, then he might not want to help her with her plan. Maybe he was on Discord's side now. But since he was the pony who she was closest to at the moment, she decided it was best to give it a shot anyway. As she neared the top of the stairs, she heard some laughter coming from another room. As she approached it, she recognized it as the castle ballroom. The door was slightly cracked open, and lightning could see two shadows on the walls. One was of an earth pony, and the other just looked like a random blob. She assumed the blob was Discord. She gently nosed the door open and stopped short. Pepper floated in the middle of the room, laughing with the draconequus. Lightning quickly tried to back out of the doorway, but felt her legs leaving the ground. In no time, she was up to the same level as the other two.

"Heee! Hiya, Lightning! You look weird with those things around your neck." Pepper giggled. "I want one!"

Lightning tired to simultaneously grab Pepper, shove the anti-kindness element around his neck, and fly them both out of the room. Her plan fell apart in the next few seconds because:
1. Pepper said, "Heee! Hiya, Lightning! You look weird with those things around your neck. I want one!" While giggling, which confused her and seemed very out of character for him.
2. The anti-kindness element was one of the lower ones on her neck and refused to come off.
3. Her wings wouldn't open.
In desperation, Lightning tried to pry her wings apart. When they still wouldn't open, she decided it must be some of Discord's magic. The anti-magic crown began floating off of her head because of the absence of gravity, and Lightning had to let go of Pepper in order to use her legs to propel herself upward to grab the anti-element. It was a very weird sensation, flying without wings. Lightning hated it. It was at this point that she realized that Discord had been right behind her the entire time.

@sstwinz It's a little short so Lightning can either make an escape or talk back. 😉

Discord lifted one huge bushy eyebrow. "Well, this is exciting, now isn't it?"
Pepper floated in between the pegasus and Discord and chuckled. "Lightning, give me a necklace!" He then zipped away, hitting the wall in a pretty painful sounding way. Discord ignored him for the moment.

Lightning proceeded to do what anypony would do in this situation, she freaked out. She began furiously backpedaling with her legs, trying to get away from the draconequus. She realized that without her wings, she really had no control over her flight. So instead of getting away from Discord, she flew herself forward, hitting his fuzzy chest. The anti-magic element, which she had just been able to grab, popped out of her hooves again. She heard a loud thunk that was probably Pepper. Lightning cringed.

Discord grabbed the pony by the scruff of the neck, which was pretty hard because of the 5 necklaces on her.
"So, you're Lightning Bolt. Pepper's told me all about you."
At the mention of his name, Pepper zipped back into the air, flying around calling, "Hiiiiiiii Lightning!!"
Discord then snatched the anti-magic crown out of the air with his free claw. "Is this yours?"

Possibly... I could use Umberisk, because of her personality, but she's pretty messed up: 1/4 Changeling, 1/4 Earth Pony, 1/4 Unicorn, and 1/4 Pegasus. She's also a shapeshifter and a Blank Flank. I could alter her for you, if nessecary.

Lightning shuddered when she felt Discord's paw grab her neck. Those necklaces were starting to choke her, too. Why did she ever think it was a good idea to wear all of them at once? She really had no idea what she was going to do now. Pepper was completely crazy, and she was being held by Discord. She thought for a few seconds, then came up with a plan that was just crazy enough to work. "So, Pepper's told you all about me, huh?" She asked, getting ready. "Well, I bet he hasn't told you about THIS!!!!" With this, Lightning reared up and kicked Discord in the face. Well, that was the plan, anyway. Turns out her aim was totally off from being in zero gravity, so all she managed to do was kick the air. Lightning groaned and buried her face in her hoof.

Strengths: Likes being picked on, doesn't hate her antagonists just because they torture her, small, "multi-typed," Shapeshifter
Appearance: Horn (doesn't work well) with holes, the tip of her mane is light blue, has a scar across her right cheek, a scar on each side of her chest, light blue stripes down her back, extra tail that has a dragony-tip which is sapphire-blue, normal tail light blue, tiny changeling-like wings that are slightly feathered and mostly useless, bandaged left leg, assorted scars, gray-blue eyes, gray left ear and grey mark over left eye, coat is white. Umber (her new-moon form)-- blue parts are red, tail is serrated, eyes are bloodred and pupils are tiny black pinpricks, pitch-black coat, wings are bat-like. Aster (her full-moon form)--Blue parts are extremely light and eyes are white tinged slightly blue, wings entirely feathered, tail-blade dulls
Personality: Constantly depressed, feigns happiness, hates herself, forgiving, never harbors a grudge, has given up on life basically, but loves her friends dearly and is almost as loyal as Dashie. Umber (her new-moon form)--Vile, evil, destructive, enjoys killing and is insane. Aster (her full-moon form)--Physically cannot harm another being either emotionally or physically, helpful, saint-like, will stop at nothing to help one in need (including Discord: Watch out!), loving, forgiving, angelic, doesn't laugh, hurt
Background: Long story short she was bullied all her life by all of Ponyville while the Mane 6 were away, and her parents were killed when she was 6.
Other: Shapeshifter, represents me (minus the parents part), 1/4 changeling, 1/4 unicorn, 1/4 Earth Pony, 1/4 Pegasus

Strengths: How is likes being picked on a strength? Could this fit better in another category, like personality?, What does "multi-typed" mean?
Appearance: Ok, so she's a changeling? But her horn and wings don't really work?, She's a filly, right? Where are the scars from?, I like all the detail, but you forgot to mention her coat color. 😊, Ok, I'm pretty confused. She changes form depending on the moon? And personality? Could this effect her ant-laughter personality?
Personality: Hmmm, maybe she should be a mare. I don 't want to control her personality, but she seems very very deep for a filly. Of course, this is just a suggestion. If you like fillies better - go for it!, Ok she does change personality! In Aster form, is she very anti laughter? How would a corruption work on her?
Background: Did her parents know she was kind of a Changeling? 😱, Is it likely that she lived in Ponyville seeing as shes a changeling? Wouldn't someone be suspicious? When were the Mane 6 away?



Anyway, sorry if my critique was a little harsh. I hope I didn't make you feel bad! I'd hate it if someone critiqued my character. ☹️

No, not at all! I'll edit those things.
Umberisk is a filly because she's me, and I'm 12.
Likes being picked on is a strength because it means she's hardy.
Multi-typed is all the "1/4" stuff.
She's part changeling. Her mother was 1/2 Pegasus, 1/2 Earth Pony, and her father was 1/2 changeling, 1/2 Unicorn.
The scars are from self-harm, as well as the bullying. In my case, they're more of to represent all of the emotional hurts I've received.
She's dusty white, and I'll edit.
Aster doesn't laugh. Aster gives advice. Aster is hurt, just like the rest of Umberisk.
Depending on the moon, and she also might decide to gamble and shift, like if the tides are turned on her in battle, but she can't control who she becomes.
Everypony knew about Umberisk's heritage, and that's why her parents were killed. She was kept for a punching bag, basically. The Mane 6 were... Wherever fits in with your plot here.

Thanks for critiquing, I wouldn't like to be out of sync with everything else.

@whitefire Ok, just wanted to let you know that we're kind of on eternal day and very very quick flashes of night right now, seeing as we're under Discord's reign. 😊
I don't think the whole, 4 species thing will be a problem. If it is though, I'll let you know. 😃

Discord chuckled in amusement at the pony's pathetic kick.
"You are quite the feisty one. Perhaps I'll keep you as a pet. You could join your friend Pepper."
Pepper giggled a little. "We could play together Lightning! Its so fuuuun!" Pepper soared around the room like a Pegasus, hooves extended like wings. He then crashed into the ceiling. Discord rolled his eyes.
"I'll give you a little less laughing gas next time, Pepper. As for you Lightning, you never answered my question." Discord held out the anti-magic crown again. "I'll repeat it, is this yours?"

Lightning's stomach twisted as Discord talked of keeping her as a pet. At least she knew what had happened to Pepper now. Why didn't she even suspect laughing gas??? Well, in her defense, it was Discord she was talking about. It could have been anything! She looked up at the anti-magic crown that Discord was holding. "Well, it's not really mine, it's for someone else, but I'm just kind of holding onto it for someone..." Lightning trailed off. Ugggh! She had just revealed practically her entire plan to Discord! She really needed to get out of there. But she couldn't do anything until the laughing gas wore off on Pepper. And that could take forever!!!

Umberisk cowered in a corner as she watched everypony slipping and sliding around. This was chaos! She backed further into her alleyway as the Mayor slid by. Everything was so new! Umberisk didn't want to go out. It was soapy and scary and new and different and... She just didn't want to leave her home!

Age(filly,Mare): Filly
Strengths: Not many, really. XD Um.... She's not talkative, so she doesn't irritate others easily, and she's a decent flier.
Type of horse: Pegasus
Cutie Mark: Green Fire
Special SomePony: Nope.
Backround: Bullied by other fillies at school for being a akward blank flank. Her home-life was awful, living with a drugged (is this ok...?) single mother who not only neglected her, sometimes became physically and verbally abusive. This caused Shadow to feel unloved and slowly recede from others, pulling into a 'shell' and making no friends at all.
Looks: Black with a green mane & tail. Bright green eyes. Tall and scrawny. She has scars everywhere, especially on her muzzle.
Personality: Sweet and kind out of fear of hatred. Doesn't talk very much at all and doesn't tend to like other ponies, preferring to be alone most of the time. She thinks that friendship is pointless and fake; that nopony truly cares at all and just pretends to be your friend. Her biggest fear is disappointing anypony. She is very determined (her special talent) and is very stubborn at times. Deep down, she wants friends, even though she believes they're fake.
Other: She's the anti-magic element. o3o
