Friendship Swap

We didn't participate for all of the days but the surprises and gifts were equivalent to what we would have did. We fed each other's coves and sent each other gifts (which I did not do much) and had a lot of fun 😸 I could had done more though ^^"

Since the Friendship Swap ends tomorrow, I thought I would go ahead and post for myself and @lenamilove

Both of us participated all of the days (as I'm sure they will feed tomorrow like they have been doing each day). I don't think there were any problems as I was able to either feed or send them a gift each of the days.

I believe the best gift I got from my partner would have to be the name Waltzing as it has to do with dance and is overall an amazing name! I'll let Lena tell you what their favorite gift was.

My favorite gift was the Meepus, I hadn't expected that at all! It was extremely sweet, and I couldn't thank @jazzyleia enough... I was only expecting something small.

I enjoyed the friendship swap, it was fun to team up and interact a bit. I simply wish I could've given more in return to show my gratitude!

Me and @unholy_undead gifted each other some items, cheerful messages and fed our coves for the days that were left until the deadline, we had lots of fun there 😊 Wish I could have done it right from the beggining! The taste of more is still in our mouths 😊

Autumn Writing Contest....I know it's supposed to be an essay...But most others did a poem...So I'm going to do one too 😋...It's freeform....It doesn't rhyme but....

I remember vaguely the summer glare
As the leaves of autumn dance around me
Let myself be embraced
By the fresh cool chill of the swirling breeze
The soft twitter of the birds in the trees
The trees themselves being strip bare
Of their warm tones.

[I watch the six hours tick by
For a return to fall
Is a return to school

I remember vividly the taste
Of the melting chocolate
Filling my mouth with a sweetness beyond compare,

December holds some great surprises and fun for all club members wishing to dive into this month's newsletter. It will be out by the 10th, if not before.

A big thank you to all the participants in the Friendship Swap Activity! May you come and join in this month's swap for it is going to be a "hoot".

I have been busy immortalizing creatures and ask that you all please PM me about this service if you need any help and thanks.

I'm currently looking for new moderators for our bird club. An official announcement will be in December's news.
An application will be available for members wishing to apply. Details will also be on hand.

You can always check our Moderator Page for an idea of what each position is about, how it helps the club and assists me so I can concentrate on other club functions.

The way the club was designed was so that I could be able to have help in areas that required interaction each day/week, this is so any member would be able to talk to a moderator and get help if needed while I was doing other things to run the club. Moderators are a vital part of the club.

With that said, you can expect the announcement soon. 😊

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS

The November's monthly raffle drawing has been held and all winners have been randomly picked along with the prizes won.

While I'm working on secondary postings/prizes, participants in the activities for last month/those prizes and the end of the month news, there will be two new mini-games posted to keep you all busy in the fun center.

If there are any members just tuning in or a new member to the club and see the activities for November, you have a week's time. It has been posted in the announcements about this.
You will be able to submit everything to me by Private Message ONLY within a week from now. If you have any questions please address them to me and thanks.

**Prizes will be given out today for the previous mini-games/mini-contests and thank you all for playing the games in the forum. 😸

This weekend, definitely no later than Monday all prizes will be given out for November's activities.
I ask that you refrain please from posting anything while I'm posting the end of the month news and thank you.

A side account for holding club creatures has begun and I will continue sorting the creatures and then editing the profiles accordingly for their role as a prize.

I'm hard at work but wanted to make sure you all have some entertainment while I'm preparing the end of the month news and new month's newsletter.

Below you will find two brand new mini-games for your enjoyment. 😸

I can't emphasize enough to please read our club's website main page at:

It describes the club, all that goes on in the daily operations, what all members can benefit from being a member and answers any question that you may have regarding the club itself and joining in activities.


CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS

This is a message to clarify what the Swap Activity is all about and what is expected of participants.

A Project Swap is the pairing of a group of club members together to perform a task before the deadline.
OR
A Swap Activity is for two club members to spoil each other during a week to two week period.

Both Activities are designed to have club members get to know each other, work together in an organized setting and to have lots of fun.

In a Swap Activity you don't have to spoil all the days of the activity, though it would be great if you could participate at least 5 to 6 days out of 10.
Life happens but just make sure you make your partner's week happier. 😸

You are required to visit your partner's cove during that time and send (item) gifts also.
If you want to you can send a creature but it is optional.

At no time is it for any member to feel anything less than joy for gaining a new friend and receiving gifts.
Give what you can and think about what the other member will appreciate.

No one should reject a gift, give anything they can't afford to give and/or give a gift with no thoughtful care attached to it.

Realistically, everyone is not the same, some members have more than others and you have to understand that it is not for you to judge based on what kind of gift you get. It is the fact you received a gift from them with good intentions and good will.

Project Swaps require you to sign up as well but you will be paired with two other or 3 other members.

You will all be given a task to complete by a certain deadline. It can be a contest or not each year.

Everyone is to pull their own weight. You might not be able to work on the project each day but need to do your part and help your team complete the project.

It is up to the pairs in the project to elect someone to make a PM and add the other members to it.
Everyone will then be able to chat, plan and organize their tasks. You will have to add me to the communication but I will not monitor it unless there is a problem.

This is to make sure everyone is participating accordingly, when the deadline comes I can check the messages and award the participants.

It can be on any topic or hands on project that requires an image completed and uploaded to an image hosting site.

We are an awesome forum club and really want you all to get the most out of being a member.

For you to enjoy yourselves each week/month, I try to find ways for fun to be the focal point besides friendships.

No member is obligated to join in activities but if you do remember, we are all here with one common bond and have to rely on each other which keeps the club as a whole; healthy.

If you have any questions regarding the Swap Activities please post them in our chat thread.
