-Night looked at the sun sneaking away to a dark place she Ran through the bushes seeing a tiny hole and she jumped in it-

Ripple watched Oak leading the group away from the back of the group, her tail swishing between the fronds. She shook her head and glanced away. He was the only other one in the entire group that wasn't short-tempered or fox-hearted. She glanced up at the sky, then back at the den. She sighed sorrowfully, knowing she was leaving behind her whole kithood, as well as her apprenticehood.

Oak suddenly stopped, and everyone but Ripple complained. Oak and Ripple seemed to have seen the same thing: a pure black tail slipping into a hole.

Ripple turned her head to look at what the younger she-cat had seen, but saw nothing.

``Well, we have to get going.`` Oak said briskly. ``We need to find a place to stay before nightfall, and we need to get out of the area before the sickness spreads further.``

``Follow me.`` -As she slightly disappeared Near the shade-

The group followed her, walking at rather a quick pace.

-She pointed at a place that had a flat ground with a waterfall a few minutes ahead and a pond beside it and she pointed at a leaf- ``the leaf is where i slept a few time's but you like it?``

Ripple gasped. ``It's amazing!``

``But how do we know there's no illness here?`` Oak said suspiciously. Ripple glared at him for a while then inhaled sharply before saying,

``Well, don't we have a reason to trust her? She never would've offered to join in the first place if she were sick---or dead.`` Oak grunted.

``Well, fine then. But we shouldn't stay here for too long. In two quarter moons we're leaving to get farther from the sickness.``

Ripple yawned and murmured a few words to Oak before heading in the direction of the waterfall. Oak nodded and turned to a small brush that had made its way into the clearing. He scraped moss from a nearby tree and stamped down branches in the middle of the bush, setting down the moss and curling up in it.

A loud screech came from the direction of the waterfall. Oak instantly leaped to his paws and bounded through the trees.
