Raina buries her face in her hands and groans, "Okay..that wasn't the smartest decision I've made."

"Raina..." Lyon couldn't hide the disappointment in his voice. "Maybe we should go over what is and isn't poisonous to avoid any future...incidents."

Jaela nods. "I agree with that. We don't need anyone else dying." She said. "Thanks for saving her, Ralem." She says.

Ralem salutes a little. "I have good news for you so you don't feel so... dumb about it." He said to Raina. "This bush? It's a a good numbing plant. If you put mashed leaves on a wound it'll numb it." He gestured to the leaves as he spoke. "So it's partly good..?"

"Thanks," Raina mumble-croaks, "I totally feel better now." She wanted to sink into her shadows and disappear. She felt like she was as red as a beet now.

Ralem steps forward. "I'll help." He says. He tries to convince himself it was only because he wanted to keep healing her.

Jaela watches. At least Raina was okay.

"Thanks," Raina says as she leans on Ralem. She leans into his side as she stands up and pretends that she was only doing it because she was hurt.

Jaela watched them. "Okay, do you want to go back to the cave, then?"

Raina sighs in relief as a bit of her weight shifts onto Ralem. "Yeah, that'd be great. Then I'll just sit down and pretend this never happened," she croaked out.

Jaela nods a little and starts walking back to the camp. "This way, and watch out for the fire pit." She calls over her shoulder.

Raina trips over the fire pit and stumbles right after she hears Jaela. "Yeah. I'll have a fun life pretending this day didn't happen."

Ralem helps steady Raina, then moves towards the cave again. "It's not... So bad." I mean, I got to save you for once! He adds in his mind.

Jaela smiles a bit. "We aren't going to let you forget it, you know." She says.

Raina groans, "Believe me, I know." She thanks Ralem for steadying her and stumble-walks to the cave. She slumps down on the side and yawns. She was exhausted.

Jaela grins and squats next to the fire, blowing on it to make sure it was still burning.

Ralem lets go of Raina's arm when she was by the wall, then moves in front of her. "Is there anything else I can help with?" He asks.

(Sorry, guys! I've been super busy!)

After the scare of Raina, one of the two really nice people, almost dying from poison berries, Ines found herself in a terrified daze. She hadn't known people could eat a berry and pass out like that. She follows everyone back to the cave and sits down right next to Raina.

Ralem picks up the berries he'd put down on a leaf. "A handful at least." He says, holding them up.

"That's better than nothing, I guess," Jaela said.

"Yeah," Raina mumbles. She still felt guilty and embarrassed about what had happened earlier. She just wasted a lot of precious time and energy by eating a berry. She had almost died to a berry!

Jaela watches the others. It was strange to her that after all they'd been through, and all the guns pointed at them, it was a berry that had almost killed Raina.

Raina smiles at Ralem. Somehow, she found it comforting when she was near him. "Yep, water would be great," she croaks, "I probably sound like a dying frog right now."
