Niall finishes the letter and starts on his ending, his last words to his family. "From," , he pauses, then shakes his head and scratches it out. "Love, Niall ". He puts his quill down and stands up, feeling a few tears well up in his eyes. Taking one last look at his bedroom, he takes his pack and leaves for Jean's house.

Rayne takes some of the leftover food and puts it in his bag. He looks around the house for anything else that could be of use. He finds a slightly rusted knife, some bandages, and matches.

Jean felt a chill go through his body and he looks away from her. "I'm going to check the cellar. I'll be back in a sec." He says.

Jean looked around. There wasn't much down there anymore other than a few old blankets and the lamp he stood near. He walked back up the stairs.

Niall takes off in a jog back to Jean's house. That jog turns into a run as the tears that welled up in his eyes grew stronger. He stops in front of Jean's house and wipes off his eyes, taking a deep breath. Niall steps up and knocks on the door, "I'm back. It's me, Niall."

Jean walked to the door and opened it a crack to make sure it really was Niall. "You're back!" He says when he had been convinced. He opened the door wide.

Niall walks in, "Yeah. I also brought a few supplies." He lifts up a bag containing a few more of his daggers and some dried jerky.

Jean puts his hands at his sides and assumes a stiff, posh, arrogant pose. "Um. Of course not. I'm just happy you're alive. That's all. No more." His tail wagged behind him, betraying how he really felt.
