I've noticed that a significant # of owners of dying coves have left (as noted by a black egg w/ a ? in the middle of it). Since I'm not an Admin. I have no idea how to delete them.

The following coves are "dead" (deleted):

That's just what happens when the creature that was set as your profile picture dies, the player can still return. I've been on many hiatuses and had most of my creatures die, so I'm speaking from experience LOL

As @emi804 stated (thanks for explaining) the black ? egg means the profile creature has died at some stage and the player has not replaced it yet. If the account is deleted or renamed, the profile will come up as "User does not exist". Like funflipper's account does, which has only just happened as I fed the small bracket only this morning EC time.

Thanks for noticing. They seem to have been active lately, and adopted a bunch of recent creatures since they "graduated" back on page 5 (or in early August). But as they still seem too be struggling, I've move them back down.

Just migrated most of my feeding tabs to a linear list a couple days ago. wow, what a different it makes time-wise! My brain is having to get used to the shift from "neighborhoods" to a list though.

Ran across this cove as a feeder on one I hadn't visited in a while.

All but one mortal was at 0 before i fed.
(I put out the call on a friend's Wall so it's doing a bit better now.)

also wondering if @lionfang should be listed in the not fully feed-friendly section as they were begging (politely) for a freeze. Has he reached out to anyone? I'm not sure which creature he doesn't want evolving, so I've just been feeding the mortals when they get low.

As for lionfang, I did hesitate initially on listing them, and have reconsidered it a couple of times. But if I remember correctly, at the time I initially placed them on the list, they hadn't been seen in a while and all creatures where under 10%. Also that status note is from Jan 2022, so was over a year old when I first condensed the list (6 mths old at the creation of this thread), and as you mentioned, isn't specific. As a result, I took the view of an evolved creature would probably be preferable to a dead creature, if the creature hadn't already perished.

Every 2nd or 3rd page, I plan to post the lists "fresh", as in not added into an edit. This is mainly to re-ping those older accounts that may have just returned to give then the opportunity to withdraw or change their entry. I know after my own long hiatus I only read about 4 days notifications (and blogs until I wanted to formulate a wish list of creatures I'd missed).

lol thanks for the flag and the feeds, but my cove is definitely not dying. I only have 2 mortal creatures and they are constantly being put in Tims. I also hop on the site occasionally, so feel free to remove my name 😊
This is a lovely initiative, kudos to all that have contributed to keeping creatures alive!

I've currently added you into the "normal" list, but as you stated, your cove is immortal, and if it stays that way (ie you don't adopt some mortal critters), I'll move it down to the "Graduated" section in a couple of days/in a week or so.
