Find The Gobblers is back with an all-new creature prize. Here's how it works: for the month of November, Gobblers will appear overlaid on pages around the site. To collect one, click on it whenever you see one. The top 100 collectors will receive a 1000 CaveCash Voucher ($10) and a Patatta at the end of the month.
Like last year, Gobblers will continue to appear at 100% opacity—that is to say are not faded when overlaid on pages. This should make them easier to spot and see.
Do not participate in Find The Gobblers from side accounts.

The Kujak returns for its annual reappearance! Find this rare and vintage bird in the Cave through all of November.
The Gobbler and Knitten have been unvaulted in the Cash Shop. The legendary Gobbler is be available for 1500 CC and the Knitten is available for 1000 CC. Gobbler stock is extremely low because of how rare it is (there is a rule that a species population can only be doubled at most).

There are 200+ comments on last year's thread and a lot of hubbub regarding size and opacity. I've yet to see a Gooble, but I'm interested in being reminded of what we eventually landed on.

"guaranteed you will see one Gobbler every 1-3 minutes on the site." ..... Is it broken? It's been 12 minutes an I haven't seen any, an no one is listed yet on the leaderboards so it doesn't seem anyone else has gotten any... @Ian?

When the next possibility to try to get a gobbler? This was absolutely ridiculous how fast it went (I try to get one, typed a lot of letters to get it as fast as possible, got a 'you got over 14 letters' and it was already sold out?! Why is its stocked this ridiculously low?).

@blub A nice trick is having a name picked out and then copy/ pasting it into the bar. I personally struggle with a slow internet connection so those who have a better bandwidth or computer/ phone are at an advantage.

@okami very true, I'll wait patiently though, lol. There's a lot happening all at once every first of the month. ALSO, I'm very, very happy to see the Zinzall up for rerelease. I've wanted one since I made an account. Fingers crossed!

@taunter there were 17 in the first wave, depending whether that's 20% or 21% as the page is currently showing, there will be probably between 81-85 rereleased in total

It appears that the gobbler hunt hasn't started. Unfortunately I am unable to force start it. I have notified Ian but, due to how late it is, it might not start until the morning.

@chaotictreat There were not a lot of users when the Gobbler was released, so of course the numbers are ridiculously low, but did not expect it THIS low. I wish they'd use the Gobbler as the standard creature from the gobbler hunt instead (or re-release with a quest or something)

I've been on egg cave for 20 minutes (on my mobile) now and did not see any Gobbler. Is this a mobile phone problem?

I haven't seen any Gobblers either (though I'm not on mobile). The Patatta's stages also feel out of order to me, but maybe I'm wrong.
