Don't go accusing people, buddy. Won't get you any friends in most if not all arguments. I wouldn't come right out of the gate saying how greedy the site is, it's not a very mature way to get your point across. You win more flies with honey than vinegar. Heck, even neutrality is better. Just for f...

@questions Hmm, I think they listen. They implemented many user suggestions. The creature re-release is a touchy subject. Have you read the topic? It's understandable why they didn't. There are many factors hindering the rerelease of the creatures. They closed it because the debate was going no...

Thank you everyone, we appreciate all your opinions on this topic. Seeing that this topic has been open more than long enough for closing comments and in order to keep the same arguments from being rehashed over and over this topic is now closed.

@mrsgiggles Yes, that is just the thing! It makes no sense to fret over a lot of these scarce creatures "flooding the market" because 1. a lot of people who will buy them will probably keep them for themselves and not trade anyway, 2. If the creatures stay in as high demand as they are n...

The rarest pets belong to people who will never trade them, although they may be tempted to do so if you cough up an unhealthily large amount of real life money. The majority of Doovoo, in fact, belong to a single account, so good luck getting one.I don't see why EC can't re-release retired pets t...

@dionaea I really like this idea, I think it would be a fair way for people to achieve their dream pets by putting in enough work to get them^^
tetraethylammonium • 25 October 2015 at 10:30 PM
@dragonnn Like falling_silence said, that would be helpful in evolving creatures but it may also tempt users to break the "clicking from only one IP" rule.
umbris • 25 October 2015 at 8:22 PM
@dragonnn I like that idea, it would help people's creatures evolve/immortalize faster at the same time which would be super helpful to a lot of users
dragonnn • 25 October 2015 at 7:03 PM
A thought inspired by @dionaea 's post:The rare creature shop's currency -(could be a special egg coin)- could be received from clicking in the Click Exchange, with a very low drop rate. I recall a system like this from the click critters website. This incentive could motivate more people to use...

@leafyos We've talked about a raffle before, and yeah, I like the idea. I just wish some users wouldn't be so....closed to the idea. Like there's a way to make it fair for everyone.
dionaea • 25 October 2015 at 12:29 PM
I still think there should be a special shop which has all the retired creatures available at all times, but you'd only be able to buy them using special points you accumulate by visiting the website every day. Creature prices would be based on how old the creature is and how it was released. The...
leafyos • 24 October 2015 at 3:03 PM
What about a raffle? xD Every once in a while, 5 or so active people will be chosen to be able to obtain a retired (not a CSP) creature from some options. ^-^ It's a nice way to help the users build up to their dream cove or whatever. PS: This wasn't really thought out, it was kind of just an idea...

If anything, I think this will help what balance the value. Rarity and value are also somewhat different (imo, and they may have a small correlation). Rarity might drop because there will be more creatures.Values might be affected, but if it's a popular creature, it will still be wanted.The...
dragonnn • 24 October 2015 at 11:41 AM
@firedawn Dropping its rarity down to a value that's affordable is something I'd like to see.
firedawn • 24 October 2015 at 4:46 AM
@falling_silence @madscienced I agree with all of you. I support rereleases. But when a rerelease happens, the rarities of the rare and sought after species will drop down dramatically. For instance, let us take the Balrogipuwet. The Balrogipuwet used to be only available for completing the...

@falling_silence Oh I know 😋 I'm hoping there's a wat to make everyone happy. One that maybe hasn't even been brought up yet.
umbris • 19 October 2015 at 10:29 PM
@ami_utsukushiiI know, it's just something to consider 😊
netherling • 19 October 2015 at 10:21 PM
@falling_silence I think they are planning on re releasing some older cave creatures. But with the cash shop creatures, that's a no or a topic to be discussed further.
umbris • 19 October 2015 at 7:57 PM
@iceiceice I think that CC creatures should be rereleased for CC, just to keep it fair for those that paid for them before. If they're rereleased for at least 500 CC, it'll keep it fair for those who paid the 500 CC when they first came out and will give newer users a chance to pay for one as well...

it's been mentioned before, but I'll mention it again since I like the ideas. Deconstruct or reconstruct them any way you like:- loyalty program type of thing-raffles (I don't really see a harm in this one.)- events (I don't know what type of event)> event where creatures are re released in...

@iceiceice I like the idea of older Cave creatures being reintroduced to the cave for a limited time - say maybe a few creatures for a week. There could be a smaller chance of obtaining one than a monthly, which would prevent a flood of them but still give users a chance to get one. They could...

I think @ian understand the need to have some creatures back in circulation and we mostly been discussing "why" we should need it. However, I think what's preventing this from happening is a way to make this "right and fair." Sooo, I'm curious you guys, "how" would yo...

@madscienced @ami_utsukushii I think that EggCave has become too focused on an economy. Not that it's a bad thing - it promotes interactions between users and keeps the economy active. The problems arise when people charge insane amounts for creatures. I always thought the object of adoptables sit...
madscienced • 19 October 2015 at 7:23 PM
@raitonchidori Yes! That's exactly what i'm trying to say! If they don't add a controlled amount to circulation, it will be impossible to get one, either due to users being inactive or not trading them.@ami_utsukushii I just think that it should just be put to vote. I buy cc, and i would be okay w...

@madscienced @falling_silenceI've been here for years and still haven't gotten to where my dream cove is in reach. I mean look at the votes up there ^ majority vote vs minority vote. Despite the percentage, the minority vote won. I love this site, I really do, but you guys are right, prices are cra...
raitonchidori • 19 October 2015 at 7:16 PM
@madscienced I completely agree with you. When I joined here (february 1st 2012), I was wishing to collect one of each specie, but I gave up about that a long time ago. I realized I couldn't do it. I see someone who was all species BUT Macbot and Doovoo, I have a wishlist that is basically a 100 cre...
umbris • 19 October 2015 at 6:11 PM
@madscienced I agree. Nothing can improve without changes being made, and that includes EggCave.
madscienced • 19 October 2015 at 6:09 PM
@falling_silence I've seen more than one site die after being around for years because they wouldn't adapt or just listened to older users or users who had more money. Eggcave needs to change this because it cant stay this way forever. i gave up on one wishlist critter and took it off my list becaus...
umbris • 19 October 2015 at 6:05 PM
@madscienced I don't even try to trade for older creatures because I know I can't afford it, and I've been here for almost a year and a half. I also don't think that the 'wait until your creatures are valuable' thing is going to work either. When most of those older creatures were released, ther...
madscienced • 19 October 2015 at 5:59 PM
@falling_silence I've only been here a month and already gave up on my (short) wishlist simply because they aren't in circulation unless they ask for hundreds of dollars. I really think it should just be put to a clear vote- the majority should make the decisions, not the older users just because th...
