Zen turned and gasped. she bit her lower lip almost to bleeding point "IT IS!" She rasped quickly, her hands were shakinng and her eye was watering up 'Why is this happening?' she thought to herself, unsure of what to do

X was already starting to strike out when she heard Zen and Tess. "Good grief" she thought. But she wouldn't abandon them, however great the temptation. So she went back to find Tess writhing on the ground.

Lily coughed and wheezed and ren back back to Tessa as fast as she could

She lay on the ground silently, images floating around. She saw the lizard that bit her and shouted it out. "IT WAS A GILA MONSTER!" Her eyes closed, her body still shook. Now words were flashing in her brain. "Go to the highest peak on the highest mountain look down you should be able to find water." was all she saw. Tears dripped down her face as she began to die.

Melodi wrenched the book of herbs from Zen. She flipped through the pages and found one that seemed promising. "Try this!" Melodi handed the book back.

Her eyes started to open slowly. She stabbed her arm with her tooth. It started to bleed horribly. Along with the blood, greenish orange goo slowly came out. She sighed in relife. How did she know all this?!?!?!?!?! She would be better off as a healer, but she was no where near as good as Zen or Dust.

X crashed through the trees and found a small puddle of goo at her feet. "We need to find something to stop the bleeding, but to make sure we don't harm her even more." X darted back through the jungle and returned with some leaves to wrap around Tess's arm.

She grabbed the leaf from X and pushed on her arm. It was a small mark but so much blood came out. One of the doctors came and rushed her inside thinking it was another snake bite. They were getting ready to hit her (To knock her out) when she got up flipped off the chair and ran out of the tent door.

@bluegirl80 there weren't any people, just supplies and the camels. They're pretty much on their own, unless they find a village or town.

X slipped out of her zone, and stood up. "We need to move!" she shouted. "We can't just stay here for the rest of our lives and watch the world dry up!" X said, hoping she sounded more confident than she felt.

X hated taking charge of the group, but somebody had to do it, and to X, Melodi wasn't exactly doing a good job at the moment. She shook her head at the trees.

Melodi handed Tess a strip of gauze and grabbed the camel's lead. She opened the back gate and looked into the dark jungle. Off in the distance, a coyote holwed. "Hm. I'm ready. Lets go." Melodi said with a tone of finality and started to lead the camel away.

Tess hit her camel and it went flying. "GAAAAAA SLOWER!!!!!!!!!" she yelled and it slowed down.

The camel suddenly stopped throwing Tess off it. "What was that f-" she was cut off by the sound of hungry animals growling. She started to growl to.. the dogs slowly backed away as she got up and grabbed a knife out of her pocket. She growled again and the wolfs ran away yipping for safty.

X walked by the camel and Tess, trying to confuse any coyotes. "They don't know how many legs a camel has, do they?" X muttered quietly.
