As always, X carried her bow and arrows, and hung at the back of the group. 'Zen's a healer. We need her, even she might be in the tiniest bit annoying.' thought X to herself, but she smiled at Zen.

"it took a wile to look over it, ,but it looked like a bird's eye view of the forest.....there was a splotch on the far side, not near us, I think it was the back south side...there was a thick black line curving through the flower to the splotch, it could've been a dry riverbed..." she looked over at lee and smirked weakly "and thanks"

Dust nooded and did his best at recreating the map. He held up the finished design.

X lingered where Zen had been found. She couldn't shake the feeling that someone -or something- was watching their every move. She drew back her bow and shot an arrow into the trees where a howl went up. She walked to the dead body, and grimaced. Her tormentor. She kicked his body hard before he died, and scuffed dirt over him. No person would see this man again. She shot an arrow up into the sky for good measure. X let out a mighty screech, happy that she had avenged her parents' death.

Melodi was silent on the walk back. They had Zen back, that was good, but she felt like something was wrong...she couldn't put her finger on it....Melodi let go of the nagging suspicion and kept walking.

X walked back to camp with the rest of the group, noticing that Tess and Melody weren't with them, but she didn't worry. They were together. "Safety in numbers," X muttered softly.

Melodi shook her head. "I'm...sorry. I don't know what to say. Um, I hope your vision heals." Melodi kicked her own foot. That was a stupid thing to say, given the situation. "We should head back to the group. They've probably just noticed that we've gone missing." Melodi walked back towards the group, and sipped some from her canteen.

Tess was only a few feet away and ZAP there went her vizion. She fell to the ground and felt around. Right to have her hand bitten by a snake. She laughed for a second but then her head fell, falling into the world of being unconsious.

Lee clenched her teeth as Tess's vision went out. She ran over and helped her up roughly. "Your vision better get better", Lee said under her breath, examining the bite and called for Zen and Dust.
