Mikel heads away from the other students. He looks at the badge in his hand. He clenches his fist and throws it away. The bagde flies back and smacks him in the forehead. "Ow!" Now his forehead was bruised along with his pride.

Mikel rubs his forehead. He could hear giggling. He looks around and sees the girl from earlier laughing at him. Great, this day can't get any worse.

Asteria manages to look up in a friendly-ish manner and say "Hello." quietly. She wished she hadn't braided her hair today, since it made it impossible to hide in. She wasn't about to make a bad impression.

I slowly walk to the girl. "Hello I'm Alina but most people just call me Ali. What's your name?" I say gently trying to keep her somewhat calm. "Your braids are really pretty."

Felix laughs as a badge hit a boy on the forehead. He looks at his own badge, clutched in his hands. Felix Arwyn, it read. He walks up to the boy, "What's wrong with your badge?"

Why does everyone want to talk to me? Mikel thinks bitterly. "Nothing, I just didn't want to be picked.." His voice trails off as he realizes he was to an elf.

"You didn't...want to be picked?" Felix echoes, confused, not noticing that the boy trailed off at the end. "Then why did you come here? There's a lot of others that need and want the position more."

Yoshi looked around as the other 11 chosen ones were interacting with one and another. She sighed and walked out of the shadows, and sat on the ground, looking at the scene before her. She couldn't believe she now had to go to school with humans and elves.

Aria:
~ I listen to the Headmaster's speech, then see the badges float. I bite my lip, worried and excited about what could happen. One of the badges seems to look from side to side, then starts moving towards my position. I mutter oaths and curses under my breath in panic as the badge slows and stops in front of my. My name was clearly engraved on the front. Aria Shadow, it said. I hesitantly reached out to it and carefully plucked it out of the air. I inspected it nervously, then slid it into one of my pockets. I couldn't believe that it had chosen me out of the thousands of people that must be here. I feel a chill run up my back from a sudden breeze. I pull an old, worn cloak out of a bag of discarded clothing and throw it around my shoulders. It looked so old and scratchy. My face turned a little pink when a group of boys pointed and laughed at me. I wave my hand and make a light illusion that made the cloak seem newer and not as worthless. The illusion blipped a little- It wasn't very good- but I still walked out into the crowd.

Clythia-
A badge hovered in the air a bit. Then proceeded to rush towards me. I protect myself with my hand, and the badge slams into it. After the pain subsides, I take a look at it. My name was on it. I smile a little more brightly.

Patience-
I watch the badges. There was no way they would choose me. I mean everyone else is probably way more reliable and better and-My thoughts stopped. A badge was speeding towards me. Oh god. Was it going to kill me?! Would it kill anyone else?! I curl into a ball. After a few minutes, I uncurl and see the badge hovering in front of me. I jump. It-It chose me?! I slowly reach towards it and I take it. My name was on it. Oh god! What if there was a killer who killed people in one instant, but in order to do that, they needed names?! What if I was a target and they saw my name on this badge and is currently preparing to kill me?! I pull my hair. My eyes dart around. I shove the badge my pocket so no one else saw my name.

"Forced?!" Felix bristles in anger, "Many would kill for a position like this!" There was no reason why one wouldn't want to be chosen, right? He glares at the human, uncaring of how his voice got louder.

Yoshi yawned as she saw a elf (Felix) yelling in anger at a human (Mikel). She stretched suddenly feeling the want for a conversation, she stood and walked over to them. "Can't you be any louder? " she asked really annoyed. "Angry elves are not a pretty sight, what's happening any ways?" she asked smirking.

Mikel was slightly startled by the yelling elf. Lots of people were looking at them now. Mikel tries to back away slowly.

Felix snaps his head towards the newcomer, "Who are you ?" he says. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see many of his fellow Chosen walking towards him and the human he was arguing with. The human was backing away but Felix stood his ground.

Yoshi just yawned, laughing to herself, she just loved causing trouble. "Oh, no one in particular. Just passing by to find an elf arguing with a human," elaborating on the fact that one was much stronger than the other. She glanced at the human backing away, "really? oh don't be scared, he," pointing the elf, "is just an elf, nothing crazy about it... except for maybe the powers.. hmm, ehh never mind you should be petrified" Yoshi analyzed.

It's nervewracking and I didn't really want to be here all that much either. And just, just, you know. Nerves." Asteria sighs.
