🦉Creature Suggestion: Tytophon

Hi I'm back for drawing something I love hahaha
It's barn owl+ griffin, with some elements of knight/guardian

When they're born, parents always give them a part of cloak. Little babies use it to keep warm, and think about the heroic story behind it when they're going to sleep. They may be want to be a little hero, and put it into practice. After difficulties, their dream will come true. They inherit the cloak, guide people lost in the forest, help injured creature, and keep the peace of the night.
Because of the face, sometimes they are considered as a horrible bad guy at first, but then people realize Tytophon is a "knight" with bravery and glory.
(In honor of them, people carve apples into Tytophon shape XD)

Yes I get some inspiration from Guardians of the Ga'Hoole, It's one of my favorite book series
And your idea of DND/fantasy month is awesome! Wish it comes true

Thank you! I make some reference to real Barn owl baby when I draw the baby. Making them fluffy! And I love traditional heroic story XD

@lothar AHHHH this is one of the best suggestions I've seen in a while! I love it and I definitely need one of these in my life. I really hope it gets chosen! The design is super cool and I love the poses. Really great stage progression too. I think the only change needed is cleaning up the grammar in the description. Awesome job!

I'm so glad this got bumped back up so I could see it - I LOVE this, especially that baby stage with the cloak? It's ADORABLE. I recognized the Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole influence, which is an amazing movie, and it also gave me some elf vibes - maybe the outfit makes me think of Tauriel from the Hobbit? Looooooove it ❤️

Wait, how have I not commented on this awesome creature?? LOVE it! That baby stage is just so stinkin' adorable, it makes me want to scoop up the tiny owl and cuddle it. The coloring on the adult is lovely.
