After having received many, many suggestions regarding this we have finally released a Username Change Terminal for 200 CC in the Cash Shop Park. It does exactly what you might expect it to do: change your existing account's username without having to register a brand-new account.
Things like your account creation date (and everything else) are preserved when you use this item. Limit one use every 30 days.

Nice feature! Is there a system like minecraft name changes where your old name takes a while to become available?
30 days between name changes, and 37 for a name to become publicly available in case you change your mind?

@o_o Once you change your username your old username will become immediately available for other people to use.
