Welcome to October with Egg Cave. The Halloween Fair is back with new prizes. You can participate and collect Seeds from various Halloween Fair activities all day, every day throughout October. Also, this season's decorations have been put back up on the site. We hope that you enjoy!

This month's Cash Shop Monthlies are the Treile and Vampig. Many thanks to @cleokitty and @prairie for the Treile and @poserpanda for the Vampig. The first of their kind have been added to your account for free with the Creator's Mark.
The Cave is not without new monthlies, too! Say hello to the brand-new Kisagi and Phantowl. Find them in the Cave through the rest of this month.

The Halloween Fair has returned! All of the Fair's stands are now open for you to collect pumpkin Seeds. Collect Seeds from both the Fair's stands and from feeding creatures around Egg Cave the entire month. Then, spend your Seeds at the Halloween Fair Prize Shop for rewards. Here's how it works...
Use the orange box on the sidebar to see which activities are available to you throughout the event and when you can visit next. Finally, the Prize Shop has some new prizes this year. Keep reading to see the new ones.
This year's new creature prize is the Candacade, courtesy of @prairie (the first of its kind has been added to your account!). Second, there's a round of 4 new Travels that are only available from the Prize Shop—they aren't available in the main shops.
Redeem your Seeds for these new prizes!
The Ocktin will not be available as a prize from the Prize Shop this year. It has been retired. Similarly, the old Pooky Face, Creepy Hands, Flying Squash, and Ghosts in the Graveyard Travels have been retired.
The Fangtharp, Muckle, and Luskrull creatures are available again this year for a higher price point. There is a limit of 1 per account. It's your chance to obtain some pretty old creatures.
Stargazing is not meant to be played or completed on mobile devices like tablets or phones. The page will still load for you but the controls for drawing lines are not designed for touch screen devices.
Please plan to complete this activity from desktops and laptops for the best results.

Wow, I refreshed at midnight and was super surprised by the changed background! Honestly a bit overwhelmed by all the fair stuff, but SO excited for my first real Eggcave holiday!!

Um, is anyone having issues with the travel scramble thing? Supposedly my guess was wrong and the correct answer was 'Heart Bushes' but some of those letters weren't even in the scramble I was giving! Some early-event bugs maybe?

@heatherm19 Yes, and I just submitted a ticket (others are encouraged to do so). Shared what the scramble was and what it was saying was the supposed answer. : / Bra atSycs is definitely NOT Colorful Hill.

Big question: Is the Halloween Fair main-account only? I'm asking because every day I feed from my sides, will I be getting seeds from feeding on my sides but not be allowed to spend them? (Or is there a way to transfer seeds between accounts?)

@heatherm19 The Fair is MAIN accounts ONLY. Do NOT spend the seeds you earn on your sides.

@heatherm19 Players are also not allowed to play the games from their sides. forgot to clarify that. (I was referring specifically to the seeds earned from feeding.)

@snowywinter I figured as much. Seems such a waste to have seeds on sides and not be able to spend them, it would be nice if we could transfer them to our main account. (I normally feed 500+ creatures per day from each side.....)

@heatherm19 would be nice now that there's the system of verifying accounts. I mean feeding is feeding & time spent doing so. Whether it's the same eggs 4 times over or 4 times that many eggs once. (I rec feeding from main as much as pos for the month. Apologies to hungry coves)

@snowywinter Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure the Jester was before the Rebirth Potion, and I think before freezing as well. Some did not take it well, despite being released on April Fools Day.

@minnie298a I just wonder if one could even catch a Jester (re-release, VEND, etc) & immediately put a potion on it or if catching it would count as a view? The point of it being a prank, alive & well, regardless. | The April Fool's pranks seem to go over people's heads here.

@snowywinter From memory, it only evolved when actually viewed. Which most people immediately did upon receiving a fancy brand new creature, not knowing the consequences. So I can see the immediate freezing being feasible.

Happy October! The Candacade had its name slightly changed (typo) and the stats for the Vampig has been fixed from some insanely-low numbers. If anyone had their stages messed with too quickly because of that, let us know through a Ticket. Enjoy the Halloween Fair!

Went to the prize shop, I think Cadacade is broken- the image just shows broken image icon, and when you click to buy one you get taken to a 500 Server error page. I don't actually have enough seeds, but the other prizes don't do that even though I don't have any seeds.
