Welcome to October! The Halloween Fair is back and we've gotten the decorations out and spooky-ified the site! Who's ready? You can participate in the Halloween Fair every day this month. Don't miss it!
This month features a wonderful array of user-created creatures from the Fan Art & Creature Suggestions forum. We are so happy and proud to give you all... the Kalown and Polter. These were created by @prairie (first and second) and @hippy (second).
These two Cave monthlies have been brought to you by @prairie and @pwuffy respectively. This is the Pumkit and Baphet! Find yours in the Cave this month.
The Halloween Fair is back and the stands are all now open! Collect pumpkin Seeds from Halloween Fair stands (and from feeding creatures!) for the entire month. Then, spend your Seeds at the Halloween Fair Prize Shop. Here's how it works:
Use the orange box on the sidebar to see which activities are available to you throughout the event and when you can visit next. Finally, the Prize Shop has some new prizes this year. See below.
There is a new creature prize this year—the Luxu. It was created by @jaydendaniel1204! Second, there's a round for four new Travels that are only available from the Prize Shop (not available in main shops!).
The Pahoehoe will not be available as a prize from the Prize Shop this year. It has been retired. Similarly, the very old Kinump Patch and Haunted Woods Travels have been retired as prizes.
This year, there will be a special surprise relating to the Halloween Fair on October 11. Stay tuned!

I love the Baphet, and surprisingly managed to get one on the first day. The rest are pretty nice too.

I'm very happy the Baphet is a monthly, because it's the only creature that really interest me this month ^^ Very sad for the Pahoehoe tho, I'm missing a male, and was hoping to get it.... :'c

Oh my, I'm soooo happy the Baphet is a cave monthly!!! I *love* it! 😃 ❤️ Actually really like all the creatures this month! Tiny bit disappointed the Polter didn't keep the appearance closer to the concept art on the final stage, but its still cute enough 😸

Can someone explain to me what the maze is all about? I'm afraid to use 50 seeds and not understand what I'm doing. Also, what happens when you win?

@lokisonoflaufey You can find things in the maze like EC, prize shop travels, items, and seeds. Nothing special happens when you "win", its just a neat way to get things for a small seed price.

@lokisonoflaufey If your interested I kept a log of what I got in the maze last year ( https://eggcave.com/egg/2394680 ). Of course the maze is random, results will vary, but it is an idea of the prizes.
