@animalliterature Hey welcome back! I remember being cringe on here if its any consolation. My past on this site HAUNTS me. Anywho, glad you're back!

I am currently in something like Ecology so its rad to see someone also interested!

First off, MLP is GREAT and is a treasure and watching it a...

I was active on this site back in 2018 (I would only been 10 and from digging thru my messages it looked like I was pretending to be 18, no way people believed me LOL) and I finally got into my old email and immediately decided to reactivate my Eggcave account because of the memories haha--I think m...

@bunnyshadow
Gotcha! Thank you so much for your patience ❤️ I'll try not to keep you waiting long. I've been wanting these three creatures since I joined the site so thank you for the opportunity ^^"

I am wondering:

1. If there is an option for users to change items displayed per row
2. If there can be options for hidden or selective showing of lists just for myself or allowing other specific users to see

Thanks so much for this feature!
Edit:
3. Ability to put a note on top of the ite...

@minnie298a

Thank you! It's good to see that you're still around, and with the same avatar too ❤️

Thanks for sharing these stats as well, I'm glad to know what to expect for each day 😊 I'll take advantage of my break and try to meet the 25 days in February, but if I don't, ah well.

I'll h...

@bunnyshadow I'd love that female Nym from @asuna, would 1k CC be okay?

Also, would you be willing to hold her for me for a few days? I just got back to the site and would like to see if I can trade some creatures before I spend, however if you'd rather do the trade right away I understand ^^;

shine • 18 January 2025 at 2:52 AM

So I haven't played in four years, oops. Back in 2021 there wasn't much to do around the site on a day to day basis, but I see that they've since added dailies which incentivize questing (even with a small CC reward) and actual polls for the re-releases.

Speaking of the re-releases, I'm ponderin...

Thanks for confirming the quest algorithm bit.

Found a slight issue.
When using the search feature, if you click on an item, it opens the gallery a little .... misaligned to where it seems like it should. When the item is positioned down the gallery a bit, the item name appears at the top of th...

Investigating These Bugs

• Character issues with the "<" and ">" characters (a known site-wide issue) (@captaincookies)
• Issues with "Group by shop it restocks from" sorting (@chaotictreat)
• Possible gallery item order resetting and/or not saving properly (@jlya)

heatherm19 • 13 January 2025 at 8:42 PM

First thought: I'm a bit disappointed. I don't know exactly what I was expecting, but at the *very* least I was expecting to be able to have section/tabs/groups within Galleries, not to have everything listed together on one page. I guess I'll try to explain my personal intentions for a 'galleries'...

redflipflap • 13 January 2025 at 7:54 PM

@ian What are your thoughts on including a 'security' feature for the 'Send to Donations' button? Like having to type out 'yes' or 'confirm' just because it's so close to the Gallery button. I was sweating bullets putting some of my retired items in my Gallery, and I do believe I would have a meltdo...

Thank you so much for organizing the effort to immortalize my Potoo! It was a pleasant surprise after so many years ❤️

Rules note: You can post your referral links however, please DO NOT pay people in EC/items/creatures/ect. to use your link. Not only is this bribery it is a form of cross-site trading as you are getting material benefits on Santae for people using your referral link. Cross-site trading is...

@theenforcer Welcome to Eggcave, hope you have fun here!

There is actually a whole 'dailies' feature here, where doing specified tasks 25 days out of a month will earn you 100cc (CaveCash, the premium currency here). Tasks include things like feeding a certain number of creatures, buying or usin...

@miraeggs Hahaha we are now in competition for Tasmas! (joking!)

I believe commons generally sell for like 1k ec, though since Tasmas are literally *the* most common creature on the site they might go for even less? Personally I pay more if they are hatched, immortal, etc, but how much more is re...
