Dragon Roleplay: Egg Hatching

This was the one! She KNEW it!

*Hi! I'm Aliera!* She began wobbling the egg, trying to break out. The shell was tougher than she thought it was...
*Help! I can't get out!* The shell cracked, and quickly began to weaken. *Wait, nevermind.* A piece of shell broke off, and she peeked her head out. *Hi again!*

Sylvia took a step backwards a voice ringing through her head. She quickly regained her composure and said "Hey. Do you want to go out side and show eveyone now?" She couldnt really see how the dragon looked like.

Aliera wriggled her head through the hole, widening it so she could get farther out. After much wriggling, she finally escaped the egg.

@bunnyshadow No, no, I mean there's supposed to be some actual conversation there. And the black egg is not emo. :I He's a thunder/lightning dragon.

Also, what would be the point of one roleplayer playing both the person and their dragon? There's no interaction there, it's just a bunch of people writing their own private stories . . .

@bunnyshadow Water. And the point of the real conversation between the character and the dragon is to make absolutely sure they're compatible before it hatches. :/ Something tells me you weren't looking for a cheery water dragon. Had there been some talking, that would have been clearly established, and you might have tried a different dragon.

Anyway, I'll make a new egg to replace the fourth one, and maybe try this again . . .

Sylvia walked up the trail to the dragon rider and his dragon. Her purple eyes stared into those of the riders as she reached the man, her gaze shifted to the dragon. "Will your dragon let me pass and touch and try to bond wih one of her eggs?"

The man glanced over to his dragon. She stared for a long moment at the girl, blinked once slowly, and exhaled another short puff of fire over the eggs. "You may go forward," he interpreted, stepping aside slightly so she could pass. "Please engage only one at a time."

The man regarded the girl before him with a noncommittal expression. "May I help you?" he asked in a steady tone. It was important for candidates to declare themselves as such.

Sylvia saw 4 eggs each with beautiful colors and walked up to an multicolored egg with dapples on it , sylvia touched the egg waiting for an response. (are you doing this or @cqpkytty ?)

Eyes: Generally gray, but the actual shade alters with her mood and the lighting.
Clothes: Simple white blouse and white shorts over light gray legging and a practical pair of black boots.
Other (appearance): Is average height for her age and gender. She has a dragon tattooed onto her back in white ink and wears several striking black and silver bangles that jingle when she's in a rush.

Aliera drooped. Or at least, she drooped as much as her cramped circumstances allowed her. *I don't think we would make good partners. Good luck with one of the other eggs...*
