well, tested the gender switches with 3 creatures...

everytime the same: stole gender x from cave, left it, clicked it again and saw gender y, than adopted it and it was gender x again...

btw: tried to left it 2 or 3 times, and watch it again, then it was gender y everytime

anybody understand what i mean?

@gatheringrosesinsnow You can always try out the most recent version and see if it does anything--if it doesn't, you can then go back to your past version (see this link for downloading past versions: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Go_back_to_an_old_version_of_Firefox). Shoot me a PM if you need help with the latter. c:

(Generally speaking, I /think/ web devs tend to not test with older versions of browsers, mainly because lots of people use more recent versions. Older versions can and do have huge security risks.)

I do like your suggestion of putting the eggs at the top! 😊 (In an RP sense, I would've thought you'd see the Cave first, then the eggs, though.)

I think the faster cave is a great improvement. I really didn't like the new cave in the beginning because it took sooo long to steal an egg. 😉 great job

ok so I have an idea that might maybe help with having to scroll all the time..

I didn't get a chance to read all the previous posts so I don't know if something similar was suggested.

what if we overlapped the mystery eggs we use to steal eggs, with the cave picture?? either the eggs can be integrated into the cave pic itself. OR the cave pic can be a little bit transparent (if needed to distinguish the eggs) and the five eggs can overlap the picture.

this way you either scroll less or possibly none at all to get to the eggs. (as the cave pic can already be seen when you open the page) (and I wouldn't want to get rid of the picture or move it down or something)


so I hope it's understandable as I tried to keep it short, I can try to clarify things if not😊

and thank you for all the work so far dear egg cave team!! I'm loving the changes and fixes ❤️

Fixed the gender issue. Sorry about that. The gender you see is the gender you get. No confusion there.

Mos are a weird thing. I can't say... *shifty eyes*

I am sorry to hear that you're having problems with the new Cave. Egg Cave really does require an up-to-date browser. Be sure to update as soon as a new version comes out for the best viewing experience.

@Ian Well, I kinda like it that the Mos can do that but does it happen to all creatures or only LEs? Because I'd hate it if I found a Aurelian and then it turned into a Mo....

@spiritkoi when mos did that in past i got two of them instead of common cave creas... i think this time it is the same. every egg can switch to a mo ;p

@vampitch the overlapping was tested allready... much users didn't liked it because they can't see the whole cave pic

the idea with itegrated eggs was made too, but till now we didn't get an answer for that, or at least i didn't see one^^

we have to wait O.o

How is the waiting time in between attempts calculated? It seems like it's different every time.

@real It's a random time between about 15-17 minutes and 30 minutes.

How about under the notification bar it tells you how long until you can go to the cave again?
Kinda like the Halloween thing with the countdown on the side

@mastergemma Well, that's sort of already on the cave page. There's a countdown that lets you know when you can have another pick at the cave.

We need more creatures released during the CRW. I got none yesterday despite about 16 cave attempts and none today despite making 18 cave attempts already!
