Just a quick point to throw in but in the Cash Shop you can currently pick if you want a male or female creature, or you can click surprise me and it will pick for you. 😃 But these are great suggestions!

I'm so excited for Ver. 3!!! ❤️ I know you guys are working hard and I'm 100% positive it'll turn out amazing 😃

I have 4 suggestions xD and three are kinda ideas for improving some stuff lol

1. I think the character limit of creature names should be increased finally lol, or put from 1-25 maybe at the most. Since it's been suggested so many times and there are a few names other users and I myself would love to have. ^-^

2. And it would be cool if there was a monthly drawing or raffle to win a prize. If at the beginning of the month there was a prize shown and each user could enter for it and in the middle of the month the winner be picked. But it would be entered by buying a ticket with EC so everyone gets an equal chance of winning.

3. Also, with creature suggestions, I think it would be cool if you could enter your suggestions by month/occasion/holiday. But with that, it would be announced that creature suggestions for a certain month are going to be looked at so people don't feel like their suggestions are being pushed back and forgotten.

4. Maybe then the combining of side accounts to your main? That would help with transferring and accidental visits to the cave or asteroid from side accounts. For example, if you visited the cave on your side, you wouldn't even have the option to steal or it would show the same thing that your main account does when you visit the cave. Either the timer, or your number of attempts and an egg to chose.

Not got any questions at the moment, but I do have a couple of things I'd like to see!

The biggest thing I want is an easier way to expand cove size without using my diminishing supply of EC. As more creatures are added to the site, I'm struggling to afford to collect them all. If this means buying a specialised CC item (similar to those that give bulk feeds/clicks/views), then I'm all for buying one!

The second thing, maybe not a likely addition but something that could be fun, would be a fanart gallery? The submissions could be moderated, and I think it would be really nice to see people create art of creatures and places in Ark. It could also be a good place to upload user suggestions, so instead of copying and pasting a link from a forum post we could see them as images that are directly on the website.

Anyway, can't wait to see version 3 in all it's glory! Love the constant updates we get on Egg Cave, it's what keeps me coming back. ❤️

1) I believe we are looking into a way to make searches more filtered although I'm not sure if anything has been made official between us mods and Ian. But I love the idea personally.

2) We do have an idea in the words for an Item Showcase type of thing where you basically have a cove list of items. Work in progress but we have that down!

3) We are adding quests which is kind of like a daily mini game to get different prizes.

4) For this do you mean having another subforum or something else entirely?

5) A newbie guide would be great! Currently we do send messages via EggCave when you sign up (although this is rather new from when I joined) so there are a few different things in place although I haven't heard of us going to do a Newbie Guide like that.

@jazzyleia on 4, No. Maybe like a tab where it shows you your creatures and you select them. You select your creatures and you select the people and it randomly selects a user. When it selects the user, it automatically transfers the creature to their account. Also, look at my posts on specific trade partners, lengthening the creature names to 20, and a Museum, I wonder if you will consider it.

(to explain on the creature suggestion thing) It would be more like...something like the CDWC tab. Instead of being in the forum, there would be a blog post made to show a certain month or holiday was looking for suggestions, so people could submit their ideas and those all be looked at. It would show all the months in the year and you could click the month you're submitting a suggestion for. When you click the month, you can submit for a holiday in the month, or for it to be a cave/CC monthly. Something like that

Alright I have a few questions and suggestions:

QUESTIONS:

(1) What kind of quests? Hunt, or...?
(2) Will Eggcave be completely changed?!
(3) Will I be able to see my creatures as easy as now?
(4) Will there be more cove slots??
(5) Does the amount of trades you can see go up?
(6) Will some exclusive creature come with the version?


Sugegstions:

1. Exclusive creature is released when EC is updated *like a dragon named after @Ian* (Iansaur)

2. The creature suggestions should be "marked" or starred from a staff if it is pending to be made or might be made

3. There should be a monthly raffle for 500CC giveaway, at the 1st at the month to enter, and at the next 1st of the month, it is rewarded and a new one begins. The cash could possibly not be savable, only 3 months if you win twice near each other. The first enter should be free and then the next should be 100 EC and go up by incraments of 500 EC.

4. Feed issue alert: Takes you to new tab to click...click...click. Instead, it should be a list of the creatures downward and you could just press all the feed buttons and get the EC when you next go to the strongroom and press a button with thw word "redeem EC" on it.

5. Creature Suggestion Month should be a random month of the year *a months notice before the CReature Suggestion Month PLZ!* users can submit only 1 creature suggestion under a certain staff created thread. 4 CReatures should be chosen.

6. ^ this could also be a week, like CRW.

7. Instead of the constant pinging under fourms like this one, you should be able to sub-comment under the one you choose, next to the user name. This way commenting doesn't get too lcuttered

8*!. I really wish there was a "Select all Mortals" for Tim's. It really is annoying to click all your mortals if you don't have a leaf of Vaka like me.

Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere already, but I think it would be really nice for users to have the ability to change the order that creatures appear in our coves.

Like instead of alphabetical maybe we could sort them by date stolen, rarity, group by species, gender, habitat, and any custom way we want them displayed on our page.

@jellifysh - Ah I see. That might be a little hard considering some people could (potentially) try scamming with that in my opinion. Plus we could use records of trades to track anything suspicious. While it is a good idea, I don't see it being implemented in the near future. I'll take a look at your other suggestions as well.

@ami_utsukushii - No problem! I do love that idea though and I think we have it written down on our board. If not I'll add it. I think we were going to do something with when you submit a creature suggestion you pick a category it goes under or something along those lines.

@dragrawr - To answer your questions in a row:
1) Different ones. Hunts, giving items for another item, things like that.

2) EggCave isn't going to completely change. Mostly the layout and different things here and there. Lots of user suggestions to make things better that people have been wanting for years. If you have FaceBook or Twitter I know Ian posts updates with pictures from time to time.

3) I believe so. Everything I have seen actually makes it look better.

4) Yes there could be. I think we have looked into the idea of making it larger so people can not have sides to store creatures cause they don't have room/space.

5) I guess I'm not understanding this one....

6) I'm not sure we are going to have an exclusive creature for the release but you never know!

so exited for version 3!! I have a few suggestions to make (I think)

Could there be item auctions? I have no idea if this is a good suggestion, but just throwing it in anyways...

Can we trade more than 5 creatures? I'm pretty sure some people are quite annoyed when they see a lot of lots saying "tnt", and the person is transferring at least 100 creatures or so

And one question, will this version be on a new site or will still be here? thanks 😊

Oh! I just remembered! (Sorry if this has already been asked). Can you make feeding from lists easier? Like if you click the first creature in the list maybe there'll be a button that says, "Next creature on list." Or something similar? Because I always have to open the creatures from a list open in seperate tabs and it's very tedious.

Items auctions is mentioned in the first post, they will be a thing. Its also been mentioned that you will be able to put more creatures/items in a trade than the current limit. 😊

The site (url) isn't changing. It didn't change from version 1 to 2, so there's no reason for it to change from 2 to 3.

I have to ask will there be a speed feed button but like not for all the creatures like a limit of 50 creatures?

Would there be like more choices in click exchange so we would have a click limit that would be higher and more choice to click so you would get more points?

Also, could we have a personalised look for yourself like a background for you wall?

Lastly, the user shops what do we do inside them like trading, selling or other stuff?

I think it would be really cool to be able to send creatures through a creature gifting system. That way, more common creatures (junk eggs) could be preserved and saved, and surprises could really be surprises. 😊 This will save us A LOT of time, for sure!

Ohhh, what if, when you send a gift to someone, you could put it in a 'bag' and the only way to see what you were gifted was by opening it (like the Halloween bag concept). Then it's added to your inventory/cove.

Just a silly idea that came to mind.

I think it would be awesome if there was a way to search what species of creatures you had under the "Your Cove" tab. Once you start to have over 300 creatures it can be difficult to remember what all you have and what your creatures name is.

There being some way to mass-delete posts on your wall would be nice. Just like how you can do so in your email.

Also, back in 2009 there was the myLight Christmas Competition and I think it would be cool if there were things like that throughout the year where users could win exclusive items, EC, etc.. It wouldn't have to always be photos necessarily, but maybe there could be a set topic and users would have to write, draw, etc. something related to that topic.

There are a ton of very talented people on this site with all different hobbies/interests and I think it would be nice to see what some of the people from the Eggcave Community could do.

That being said, we do already have the CD Writing Competition and Creature Suggestion Forums.

There could be a whole shop dedicated to 'gifting' where would could spend EC so it isn't tooooo expensive and so everyone could do it 😱

But then again, would that whole concept be too complicated with the creatures? >.<

Some things I would love to see on Egg Cave would be:

● Customizable links under Your Account
● Easier access to side accounts & linked notifications
● Elimination of different e-mail needed for each account
● Customizable user profile &#40; i.e. hide/display SAR Fund, friends, join date, posts & topics from public &#41;
● Multiple statuses
● Multiple profile creatures

● Deleting/Locking your own topics
● Font size ecode
● Site "skins"/themes
● Specialized topics/pages for clubs & user hosted events

● An official value guide for creatures & items to help stabilize some rather outrageous prices (came up with a few equations for determining creature values here that might help make a program or something)
● Elimination of "junk eggs" from creature trading

● Adjustable/drag & drop travels (like how the headshot works)
● An extension of characters allowed to name creatures with (not just alphanumeric)
● More ways to interact with our creatures (i.e. giving them personalities based on their "birthdays/steal dates" zodiac and/or habitat, travels & items they refuse to use, bonding which can give boosts to EC earned while feeding/higher happiness/etc.)
● Implementing creature battles, which can tie into more creature interaction

● More games with better prizes
● Other ways than just feeding & trading to be able to earn large sums of EC

Here's More:
● To compliment CRW, a user suggestion week
● Search & organize creature item collections alphabetically
● Categorize & sort storage by item types
● Select/Delete All wall posts option
● Creature Viewer & ● Items Index (as seen on eggcavity.com)

I honestly think quests would be better, as you still get rewards from quests. Include the wrapping paper in there, and it would feel like a reward, as it should be. Buying it would be not right.
