"You should get some rest first. We will let you know tomorrow," Another member said. "You have all been through a lot. There's food in your rooms,"

"Uhm..." Gracie raised her hand. "How can we know that you aren't just going to kill us as soon as we fall asleep? You broke her arm." She pointed to the girl she meant. "How can we know you won't do worse than that to the rest of us?" Gracie was standing now.

"That wasn't intentional," The member said. "We are very sorry about that. And please, you just have to trust us for now,"

Esme sighed, "Uh, well if we're gonna get food can I have some meat? I've had a weird craving for meat for a while..."

“There’s what you want in your rooms,” the Council member replied. She gave a nod to the guards and they started to walk out of the room.

"Alright, then..." Gracie said, even though she still didn't trust them. She waited for Quill to start going before she did.

Sky was had too many questions to ask. How did magic work? Who else in the real world knew about Shaerin? Why was she chosen for this?

Quill slowly followed behind the guard to their rooms. He still felt uneasy about everything that was going on, but it's not like he really had any other choice at the moment.

Lark trailed along, following the feet of the group. Avera whirled around her, trying to cheer her up.

They climbed a flight of stairs and stopped at the end of a hallway in front of a decorated wall.
"There's... nothing here," Sky said. Suddenly, five doors appeared on the blank wall. Each one had a symbol that looked like the objects each person had.
"The doors will only appear and open to the person who has the Relic painted on the door," a guard explained. "Each room was created to your liking,"

Esme shrugged and looked at her relic around her necklace. "Uhh, I think this one is mine," she said as she pointed at a wolf shaped relic. "So.., how do you get in?"

"It'll open once you get close enough," The guard said. "If you need any help, each of you has a fairy maid. To call them, just ring the bell next to the window,"

(You guys can each make up how your rooms and maids look like)

Quill sees a door with a feather one it, similar to the one he found in his backpack. That must be my relic then... He thinks. He opens the the door to his room. His room was similar to the one he had back home. "This is kinda freaky..." He says to himself.

Sky stepped closer to her door. It opened, revealing a cozy-looking interior. Her bed was high up against the wall with floating steps leading to it. “Woah... this is so cool,” she whispered. It was the bed she’d fantasize about when she was younger

Esme stepped into her room as the door opened. There was a huge bed near the end of the room. Two potted trees hovered over it, leaves draping. There were many elegant furnishings around the room. It was just like her dream room! "This. Is. The. Best!" she exclaimed.

It was a little weird on how they knew what she wanted, but Sky didnt really care for now. She plopped down on her bed, as soft as a cloud. Her stomach rumbling, she got back up and looked around for food.

Gracie was reluctant to leave the group, but she went into the room with the sleeping fox pendant on the door and found a room just like anything she'd dreamed. She walked into the room slowly and sat on the bed.

In the corner of the room sat a strange little box with a note on top. It said, "Any time you're hungry, food will appear in this box,"
That's cool, but kinda odd, Sky thought. She reached out and opened it. Inside, there was some kind of fancy-looking pasta. She took it out and took a spoonful. "Wow, thimfs is weewy good..." She said to herself through a full mouth.

Lark entered her room only to find that it branched off into several other rooms. One seemed to simply be pillows, blankets and comfy plushies strewn about, covering the floor. Another appeared to be small pool, and above it all, was a large loft, with tables, chairs and an engraved plate and cup. The envelope beneath the plate explained that food would generate if she was hungry, and that the cup would also fill if she requested it. Avera started fiddling with all the knick knacks placed on the shelves. Lark found some utensils and the plate was suddenly filled with sushi, the cup with juice. "This, this is actually... nice." Avera chuckled. "Of course. They've been pouring all the taxes into these things for years. You're their only hope you know. They've tried and tried other ways, but it's never worked."

After Sky finished eating, the sun was beginning to set. It looked similar to the one back at home, but somehow different and prettier. She checked her phone and took a picture. It was working, but there wasn’t any signal. “If this place did exist on Earth, where on the map was it? And how did magic work if it had been scientifically proven that things that happened here were impossible?” She whispered to herself, and then shook the questions out of her head.
She opened the closet on the opposite side of the room which was filled with what looked identical to some of her favorite clothes back at home, along with some other ones that looked like they were for a fantasy cosplay. “That’s... really creepy,” she said to herself. “And I hope they don’t expect us to wear this clothing,” she held up a cape decorated with swirls and patterns. It looked cool, but it was really itchy. Tired, Sky found a pair of pajamas, changed into them, and fell asleep on the bed without even pulling the blankets over herself.

Esme yawned. It had been a good meal of steak. It was slightly weird and creepy that the room knew what she wanted, but it was so worth it. She jumped on her king sized bed and sighed, "This is the life."

That night, Sky had a dream.

-

A cloaked figure sat on a tall throne in a dark room. He impatiently tapped a figure on the worn-down velvet armrest.
"Well?" He growled to a man bowing down in front of him.
"Y-yes, the Relic holders are here," the man croaked nervously. Clearly, the cloaked figure made him feel uncomfortable - scared. "They've just arrived in the Council's palace,"
The cloaked figure grinned. "Good. Once we rid of them, Shaerin is ours,"

-

Covered in cold sweat, Sky suddenly woke up. She'd never experienced a dream so real before. It was almost as if she were awake at the time and experiencing the conversation in person. Yawning, she decided it would be best to think about it later in the morning. But she couldn't get the dream out of her head.
Forcing her eyes shut, she fell asleep.

(If you guys want, you can each have dreams of how the Plague is destroying Shaerin, but if ya don't wanna that's fine too ^^)

(Alrighty)

Grace fell asleep on her bed, which was coated in a thick layer of black and pink polka dotted blankets. As she fell asleep, she heard a sound. A sound of laughter. The laughter gave way to a whole dream. A man in a black cloak sat on a throne. Another, smaller man came running in from a side door. "Sire, the... You know whos have arrived. We don't know how, but they're here." The small man whispered. "Well done. Assemble my armies. We'll send them as soon as I give the order." The cloaked man started laughing and images of devastation and destruction filled the dream. Gracie woke up panting and crying. She wiped her tears off on the blanket and decided that she wouldn't be able to sleep again. She got out of bed and went to explore the huge room.

Thanks ^^

Although the rest of her sleep was undisturbed my any dreams, Sky woke up in the middle of the night again and got a warm cup of milk and a sugar cookie. She had a knot in her stomach and a terrible feeling that this trip wasn't going to be uneventful.

Quill lays on his bed. Although he was weirded out by having this room look so similar to his own, he found it strangely comforting. He slowly closes his eyes and falls asleep.

Esme woke up suddenly, gasping for her breath. She warily looked around the room. No assasins in sight. She had this weird dream that Esme couldn't remember much about. She just knew there was this black cloaked man who wouldn't stop laughing and talking about armies and doom and killing. It just seemed so..realistic even though she knew it was a dream.
