@wererage
I've been having the problem too and just the overall site takes awhile for me.

Ex: I am trying to go to a page. Loading loading. Won't load unless I refresh the page sometimes. Don't know if this ties into this but it's kinda similar to the feeding problem, well I think o-o

veritaspunk • 4 August 2015 at 2:08 AM

@wererage

I just get stuck on "loading" then after 15-20 seconds it goes through ...EDIT: This happens about 1-2 percent of the time per cove or click exchange visit .. it's not every egg.

I did notice the site was a bit slower in the last 12 hours for me, it's been far worse though in...

@Ian

I'm going to say my final piece before I'm gone as well.

I believe that, at the very least, Ian should stick to what he said earlier. For the CSP creatures, I feel we should leave those as retired at the very least. It was alluring to purchase something that was going to be gone forever, and...

netherling • 3 August 2015 at 10:21 AM

@fakeworld @leonx

Yeah I heard it was because they didn't have the forums yet so they all talked together on the blogs.

But I said a while back that re releases would've brought more people to the site, and more people buying CSPs would bring in more money and such to help out the site. Though...

elf • 3 August 2015 at 9:24 AM

Overall though, Ian has to do what is best for the site, not just including existing members, but taking into account new members that join. I don't see much wrong with creatures being re-released if it's done responsibly. New members that come on usually find it pretty hard to get creatures they li...

despair • 2 August 2015 at 9:43 PM

TBH I'm surprised the account-linking thing hasn't been a feature xD

netherling • 2 August 2015 at 9:23 PM

When Egg Cave started I was only like....11 years old. I couldn't even ask to get cash shop creatures when I joined, so I missed out on my dreamies and then some.

@scorch_cloud222 has a point too :/ for years its been the same. I've seen a lot of people putting up the argument "that small per...

@ami_utsukushii

My posts have all been in favor and very aware of the reasons why. I like any one else on a gamesite will worry about the logistics on a site I play on or ask questions as needed 😊

Nothing is set in stone so questions are good!

veritaspunk • 2 August 2015 at 8:30 PM

@scorch_cloud222

...even with the cave creatures it seems like a lot of hoops to go through and too uhmm .. paltry ... it's just seems like it favors one group over the other, and this is an adoptable site ... strategy and game play really isn't the main focus .. it's adopting those pixels and wai...

Thank you all for your patience as I've been considering everybody's opinions on this topic.

On retired forever

As we have considered rereleasing Cash Shop monthly creatures more, a few users have pointed out that the words retire forever appear in our Cash Shop.

It is very importan...

So, I thought I'd open a topic about this strange "bug" that seems to be occurring since yesterday.

When feeding creatures, very often the error "Ooops, there was a problem processing your request" (or something like that) pops up and the feed button is stuck on "loading&qu...

so it's a site problem.. okay. ._.
thanks

iceiceice • 2 August 2015 at 12:06 AM

I took that as a jocular remark, but I could be wrong...?

"This is really great you guys, I love reading the arguments back and forth because I don't really care either way. I'm mainly here for the community and such. However it has come to my attention that most of the users gunning f...

sodabearjess • 1 August 2015 at 11:50 PM

@dawnfur ya, we arent the only ones, its a site issue right now :/

yam • 1 August 2015 at 11:44 PM

I'm having the same thing happening to me. I thought it was a cache issue, but if it's happening to other people then it might be a site wide issue.

dawnfur • 1 August 2015 at 6:40 PM

@sugarsprig

i don't know about that.

Unless this was made and you had to buy it for each creature for cc, i don't think so.

Nobody would buy freezes anymore, and I don't think that would be good for the site.

jitters • 1 August 2015 at 5:55 PM

@yam

Im hoping to get one then, haha.

This site is so cool and creative ;u;

jitters • 1 August 2015 at 5:28 PM

Thanks! I'm really loving this site.

Hi, I'm giving this site another try since my sister @ami_utsukushii convinced me to come back. I'm going to put out some creature suggestions later so check them out please! I like gorillaz and Harry potter my house in Harry potter is SLYTHERIN. I've also been here since 2011 but I just got back on...

@ami_utsukushii

I like the idea ^-^

However I would suggest something a Little bit different (I do apologize if it's already said before I didn't see it T-T)

Once a year (Christmas time sounds nice 😸) you could ask for one of your dream creatures (by writing it in advent calendar...

@dragonnn

This is why some sort of manual account linking feature needs to be added. If your side account was linked to your main account with this new feature whenever you logged onto any of the accounts in the link it would register as you logged into all of them.

netherling • 30 July 2015 at 11:28 PM

@aquari
Some people are trying to find alternatives, I guess that's how it came up. The main points on both sides are:

Non-supporters: we spent a good amount of money on creatures and don't want that to be wasted.

Supporters: prices for creatures are super high and its harder to get them now bec...

I think Inactive accounts over 5 years should b purged it gives more than enough time for someone to at least check in. If a purge rule is going to b used everyone must follow it the rule can be updated through the site blog that way everyone knows what is going on. If the beasts are going to b rec...

There are some people who quit who completely forgot about the site or forgot their passwords. Those people wouldn't come back because they can't. I lost access to my other account that way. Forgot the password and lost my last email account. If we did purge other accounts, the ones that need to be...
