@silver_winged Silverstarr turned to look at the fully-grown dragon. She turned back and looked at the small dragon,"Can I nickname you Ino?!"She asked the new-born dragon gleefully.
silver_winged • 29 January 2012 at 5:55 PM
@sakura2596'Sure!' the little fairy dragon chirped, bouncing across the floor toward Silverstarr. For a hatchling, she moved with surprising efficiency.
sakura2596 • 29 January 2012 at 5:58 PM
"What do you want to do? Your to young to fly of course,so you can hop onto my shoulder!" She said, letting the dragon taking a rest.

@silver_winged NEW EGG!! đ Is this one alright? As the egg hatchers scurried around the cave, talking and hatching dragons, a new egg was put in the nest. It clearly stood out with its beautiful markings. This egg was clear and glowing with an mystical aura. The egg had silver swirling designs on the bottom and scaling to the top with 3 crystal shards sticking out of the top of the egg and was a light blue color, trailing from the top to the center of the egg, grey from the center to the bottom. You could see through the middle of the egg and you see what looks like a black pebble. It pulses gently like a heart. The shards at the top of the egg change from cystaline white to a saphire blue to a deep ruby red and back to a crystaline white.
silver_winged • 29 January 2012 at 8:08 PM
@sakura2596Inola scurried up the girl's arm, using her front feet to grip while her back feet propelled her forward. Due to the different sizes of her feet, she walked much like a wallaby or a kangaroo. 'I'd like to go outside,' she suggested.@bunnyshadow Yeah, that's fine. Try to give it an iconic personality, though. Each egg should have something special about it.EDIT: @bunnyshadow Sorry, forgot to say that eggs don't . . . form out of thin air. It doesn't really work that way. ^^; You can say that she had been placed there.
bunnyshadow • 29 January 2012 at 8:45 PM
@silver_winged Ahhh.. Ok. Can i say she was found and placed in the nest?
silver_winged • 29 January 2012 at 8:46 PM
@bunnyshadow You can either say she was in the nest the whole time or I can post saying that she was put in the nest. ^^;
sakura2596 • 29 January 2012 at 9:33 PM
@silver_winged Silverstarr walked outside the rays of sunshine shone bright agenst Ino's ever so bright scales. Silverstarr took a deep breath, letting the nature come back into her body.
silver_winged • 29 January 2012 at 9:40 PM
@sakura2596Inola hummed brightly as the two of them entered the sunshine. She unfurled her wings, allowing the warmth of the rising sun to dry them. The man, upon noticing them, walked over with a smile. He rubbed the small dragon's forehead with his thumb. "Miss Silverstarr, was it?" he asked, turning to her. "As with all the new riders, you have a decision. You may leave with your dragon as independent dragon and rider. You will owe no allegiance to anybody, but at the same time, you and your dragon must learn for yourselves what would have otherwise been taught to you. You would have to find food and shelter on your own, and there is always the matter of slayers." He paused for a moment, allowing her first option to sink in. "You may also come with us, and owe your allegiance to the northern guild of riders. We will teach you all you could ever care to know about your dragon, feed you, shelter you, and apprentice you to a master, but you would also be required to serve three years at the guild. Do not feel rushed, however; you have the day to decide." With that, he flashed a last smile at the small dragon, and went back to guarding the entrance of the cave.
sakura2596 • 29 January 2012 at 10:13 PM
@silver_winged Silverstarr thought carefully about what the man said. She smiled, and continued to walk. There was a long pause of silence until she spoke,"Did you hear what he said?" She asked," What do you want; us to live alone,or with everyone else? I just don't want to make a choice that you don't like."
silver_winged • 29 January 2012 at 10:17 PM
@sakura2596The little fairy dragon made an indecisive noise, looking up at the sky. 'It's really a matter of whether you want to live alone or not,' she said. 'If we stay out by ourselves, we'd have to be careful around humans--you heard what he said about hunters. If we came with, you'd be surrounded by other dragon riders.' She hummed gently. 'I'm all right with either, really. I'd just like to head to the forests when it's all over.'
sakura2596 • 29 January 2012 at 10:23 PM
@silver_winged"hmm,considering that your kind(meaning its scales/type of dragon) are really rare,i guess we will need more protection. But,i also have lots of experience in the wild, that might help. This is a really tough choice."She said thinkingOOC: lol i can't pick XD
bunnyshadow • 29 January 2012 at 10:23 PM
@silver_wingedSylvia stared into Solos's eyes. "What do you want to do now?"
silver_winged • 29 January 2012 at 10:28 PM
@sakura2596 It's up to you. ^^; @bunnyshadowIt took a moment for the man to notice the other dragon and rider that had left the cave. "Excuse me," he said, attempting to get Sylvia's attention. He began to recite his speech again. Do not feel rushed, however; you have the day to decide." ((Heck yeah copy/paste))
bunnyshadow • 29 January 2012 at 10:31 PM
@silver_winged "I see..", Sylvia replied. "i'll think about it".Sylvi turned towards Solos. "Which do you likE?
silver_winged • 29 January 2012 at 10:34 PM
@bunnyshadowSolos shifted his wings, still staring out at the crowd of people. 'Whatever suits you,' he responded, suddenly noticing that his rider had asked him a question. 'Do we have anything to eat?'
sakura2596 • 29 January 2012 at 10:34 PM
@silver_winged i don't know how this is gonna effect the rp,but i choose to live alone. ;DSilverstarr tried to take her mind off things," Are you hungry?" She asked Ino.
silver_winged • 29 January 2012 at 10:35 PM
@sakura2596 We can either keep roleplaying or you can keep the dragon character and be along your merry way. ^^; Whatever you feel is best.Inola thought for a moment, kneading her front paws into the girl's shoulder. 'A bit,' she admitted, 'but I could certainly wait. Are you?'
bunnyshadow • 29 January 2012 at 10:35 PM
@silver_winged "I could hunt for meat?", Sylvua said pulling out her dagger.
silver_winged • 29 January 2012 at 10:37 PM
@bunnyshadow'Not if it's any trouble,' he said plainly. 'And I don't think it's a good idea to leave that dagger out.' He flapped his wings once or twice, getting a feel for the sensation. The smell of smoke still clung thickly to him.
bunnyshadow • 29 January 2012 at 10:39 PM
@silver_winged "good point", Sylvia said, shething her dagger. "Lets go to the butcher shop then." Sylvia walked towardw the building where they sold meat.
sakura2596 • 29 January 2012 at 10:50 PM
@silver_winged keep roleplaying! đ
squeakers • 30 January 2012 at 12:15 AM
@silver_wingedAnariel resisted the urge to fidget as the silence stretched on. The ubiquitous thrum of a low pitched static humming steadily in her ear provided a suitable distraction and she was so absorbed in the sound that she nearly yelped when Dragon spoke again. As he finished his sincere apology, Anariel stroked the shell comfortingly, an unconscious gesture that would have her flushing with embarrassment if she caught herself, and spoke haltingly, "please Dragon, it was never anything you did."Anariel let out a soft sigh, feeling like she was exposing too much of herself to be entirely comfortable but unwilling to allow the kind-hearted hatchling in her hands to blame himself, "I am simply disappointed in myself.""It's just that-" she cut herself off sharply, then collected herself with visible effort and finished quietly, "I truly wanted to make a favourable impression upon you, not to cause you discomfort with my unrestrained emotions and inability to keep my curiousity in check."Her self-pity was briefly disrupted by his declaration of his trust in her, or at least, she hoped that was what his words implied. Listening meekly as he answered her question with palpable uncertainty, she felt another stab of guilt twist at her insides. For all the good she tried to do, it seemed that she invariably ended up causing him harm.'Thunderstorms?' she wondered quietly to herself, then forced her attention back to Dragon to avoid missing out on his explanation. -c
pastelfeathers • 30 January 2012 at 12:16 AM
@silver_wingedAs the story continued, Anariel's eyes widened perceptibly. She felt horrible. While it had not been intentional, it nevertheless did not excuse her from the fact that she had obviously forced Dragon into discussing a memory he felt far from comfortable about reminiscing. She startled visibly when the man she spoke with prior appeared at her side, her heart pounding, she watched as his considerably bigger hand gently cradled the egg.Anariel gasped when she felt the first trickling of the man's love and allowed herself to mentally touch his obvious devotion for the hatchling with a wondering hand, feeling very much like an intruder. The man's love was warm and she was so lost in revelation of the sensation that she nearly missed his next words. She looked up sharply when she focused again, trying to decipher the look on his face, wondering despairingly if he was about to ask her to leave and was appropriately relieved when the man said no more before he moved away.Anariel focused back to the delicately shimmering egg in her hands when Dragon spoke again. The heartbreaking words causing a silent gasp to escape her lips and her heart to freeze in distress."I-" she swallowed loudly, unable to talk around the lump that suddenly obstructed her throat. She cleared her throat, and offered weakly, "I, uh, I can go bring him back?"
silver_winged • 30 January 2012 at 12:41 AM
@bunnyshadowSolos folded his wings again and settled into her arms, content to be carried to wherever they were going. He didn't seem at all inclined to ask what a butcher shop was--instead, he trusted in his rider's intentions.@sakura2596 Well then, feel free to reply. ^^;@pastelfeathers @squeakers"We have that in common," the black egg murmured softly. There was a quiet moment before he felt the need to elaborate. "Not wanting to discomfort someone with unrestrained emotions. It's . . . " He emitted a feeble, shuddering sigh. "Difficult."The lights upon the egg quavered, each gently fading to black before dimly reviving themselves. It was like watching an unwilling person fall asleep, their eyes slowly falling shut only to flutter open again a moment later. While he had just been at the emotional threshold of tears, the reassurance of the man seemed to have calmed the raging storm of his heart. As the seconds slid by, the static pulse became a steady thrum once more. He sighed again."Don't." Whatever paragon of politeness he had held himself to now seemed to be gone. "If you go get him then . . . then you'll have to leave." Before, the youthfulness in his voice was difficult to trace, hidden behind a mask of manners and eloquence. It was now all but impossible to ignore; he was a child, an orphan, mourning the death of his mother. The realization was heartbreaking.

@silver_winged :I Poor Black Egg âšī¸ Could you play the people in the store? ~curious what they'll do~~~~Sylvia entered the butcher shop and saw many people inside, buying fresh mest for evening meals, breakfast, dinner or some bacon for snacks.
silver_winged • 30 January 2012 at 12:54 AM
@bunnyshadowSeveral customers froze with shock as they watched Sylvia enter the store with a dragon in her arms. Their eyes seemed to follow her shamelessly. Some were filled with wonder, curiosity, or perhaps even envy; others with disdain, or spite. Solos could only glance at the various other people in the store, offering them a blink or a puff of smoke from his nose as greeting.
bunnyshadow • 30 January 2012 at 1:04 AM
@silver_winged~~~Sylvia smiled smugly , her 2 sharp teeth showing like fangs. She thought to herself, "And you thought i'll neve be anything." She walked up to the butcher and asked Solos "What meat would you like?", while poking his belly.
pastelfeathers • 30 January 2012 at 1:09 AM
@silver_wingedAnariel made a small noise of surprise at Dragon's words, it was rather disconcerting that the hatchling would already feel such depth of emotions that he felt the need to consciously watch himself."Perhaps," she suggested slowly, "sometimes it is better to allow yourself to feel the emotions as they happen?" A dull flush adorned her cheeks, "even if it does end up embarrassing you later on..."Anariel stroked the egg in her hands in what she hoped to be a comforting manner as Dragon gathered himself, feeling the guilt of causing him to recall such painful memories grow slowly as the seconds ticked by."I apologize," she eventually murmured, hands stilling briefly upon his shell so she could focus on finding the right words. "It was never my intention to force you to speak about such an intimate memory," she drew in a shuddering breath, "nor was it my place."She furrowed her brows in confusion at his words."I," she began, suddenly wondering if she interpreted his words correctly, "I thought you did not want the man to leave?"Anariel faltered briefly at the audacity of her next actions and gulped. She tried her best to project to the hatchling the same sense of sincerity and affection that she felt from the man."Please do not fear Dragon, I will never leave you," she said quietly, conviction ringing with every word, she paused. "I just don't wish to hurt you inadvertently anymore," she concluded softly, a hint of distress in her voice.
silver_winged • 30 January 2012 at 1:09 AM
@bunnyshadowThe butcher visibly flinched as the two of them approached the counter. There was a clear conflict of interest in his eyes, but it seemed that profit won out in the end. "What may I get you?" he asked Sylvia.Solos let out a low chirp as his belly was poked. 'I'm not picky,' he responded automatically to her.
