i think its a very good idea, i dont have problem for the moment and its a good thing (I spot generally bug rather easily and generally when I does not expect for me from it).

Maybe there could be a leaderboard for the most creatures clicked on the click exchange. It might encourage more participation.

aaah this is a really nice idea, to have a special click exchange just on Eggcave, it's a lot faster to get clicks and especially feeds with it than with seperate click exchange sites. The only thing is, there's hardly ever links available.. heh.

Also, even when you ask for feeds specifically, I've found only a few people do feed. And then the link is taken down after the set number of clicks, even if you didn't get enough feeds. 😋 (ex. I had to put my kappice's link up again because I set a maximum of 25 clicks, and specified I wanted feeds, but then after 25 clicks the link was removed, but I only got about 10 feeds.)

@Ian Perhaps a different maximum setting for feeds? If thats possible?

@Ian I've noticed that some creatures reappear even though you have fed them already in the click exchange. Is that supposed to happen?

i think i found a litle bug ... i remove my pet and clic on some other pet, my XC rise but return to
-4 when i stop to clic for somme seconde.

I like it, and haven't found any bugs yet. It's just hard to keep my XC up. 😊 I could remove creatures if I wanted, but I like the challenge.

Just adding that I too am experiencing creatures somehow getting back into the rotation after I've already clicked (and fed) them. I can confirm this with all certainty because I'm not going on memory alone; when I access the creature's page, it says I've already fed it today.

Just curious, how does the feeds only section work, does it link without clicking or...

It's looking great on one of the older versions of firefox though not too many critters to feed for me as yet (sorry about that inadvertant feed though) I will be sure to check and see how it handles on the oldest one as well


I'm loving this feature though and thankyou so much for letting me help test it out too 😃

@Ian really like this idea! 😃 makes immortalizing quicker! but there aren't enough creatures to keep my XC up which makes having multiple creatures a bit more difficult.

@plisser9 thanks for the suggestion. We've been trying to think of ways to make the categories (for stats) more concise. I actually like your idea the best. Changes soon.

@skits if you're not receiving XC for clicks, this means that you're not letting the click-through links load completely. Are you waiting for the creature profiles to load? If you are, then that means your XC balance is being used AS you're earning credits (it's just that fast-paced, which is a GREAT thing for your stats!).

@motivecat this is not a bug. This means that your XC were used for clicks on your creatures AS you were clicking. This is just how fast-paced the Click Exchange is!

@spiritkoi we're tracking creatures through the Click Exchange. Any feeding you do outside of the Click Exchange is not tracked. We don't automatically remove creatures you've already fed from the exchange. This is for clicks.

Update: users who, at this current time, have <10 XC have been updated 10 XC. When a user first joins, they'll now start with 10 XC (which needs to match the maximum number of links in the CE at minimum).

This will begin to help solve the credits deficit problem!

I don't know if this has been suggested, but it would be nice if after we've clicked the creature's picture then it would disappear and the creature next to it would move into the spot before it.

I guess this is good for mass clickers so they wouldn't have to move their mouse and scroll down as much.

I was on a mass clicking spree and I just find it a little time consuming...or it's just me being lazy ^^



Edit: I just clicked all the links and fed all the creatures in all categories .-.

@Ian So if it's reduced when I receive a click, why does it show I only have 5 clicks out of everything I had? I have 10 pets in the exchange, and only 1 pet shows the 5 clicks I have.

Sorry if I'm so confused with all this.. I love the idea of trading clicks with everyone, good idea.

Edit: I now see there are 10 more clicks to a few other pets, but for the dozens of clicks I give, to only have 15 since the start of this is just confusing me. =T-T=

@Ian I am completely certain that I have seen -Acorn- the Amarra at least 5 times.

I might be having a problem...I thought it wasn't supposed to give you links that you had already clicked on that day, (and I like to fed them all to see what they get and stuff,) 😊 but I keep going to creatures that it says I have already fed that day, and I don't even know the owner! So the only way I could've already fed them was to have clicked on them I guess. ☹️

@stormdragonxi It takes a while for people to return clicks to you and sometimes more people click some of your creatures than others.

@puppyloverlauren That means you clicked them all and some users' creatures are reappearing since they are clicking too.

I'm a selected beta tester. The idea seems cool, but i did spot an error. sometimes it loads the same creatures again and again after a while, I guess it just means there was limited creatures on the list.

and just calling myself a beta tester sounds like I'm a character in SAO. 😸

I'm still having the problem where my stats get reset. Like, right now my stats are Exchange Credits: 46 XC | Total Clicks: 57 | Total Clicks To You: 19, but when I click a creature, it goes to Exchange Credits: 12 XC | Total Clicks: 23 | Total Clicks To You: 19.

Also, I've clicked all the creatures on the home page, but they won't disappear no matter how many times I try refreshing the page.

This is great! I already have like 150 XC c:

A couple ideas: perhaps, after this is fully released to the public, you could be able to trade XC at the trading center? Also, the leaderboards could have an XC category c:

I also noticed a cheat to getting XC easily: for feed-onlies, it is possible to click them and get 1 XC without feeding them, only for the click. Perhaps this can be fixed, so people who want feeds aren't getting gipped?

This is one of the best features of Egg Cave yet! Thanks for putting it up!

@Ian -Acorn- has appeared again! I thought about it and I think it might be because the user takes out the creature then puts it back in or it's just a bug.

OMG raffles would be the best! But we would need the help of everyone on EggCave, just like Eggcavern did with donations from users. But that is still a great idea!
