I'm not sure this would be possible, but could we maybe get a text box to edit the number of clicks we want on a pet after it's been added? In case we want to give them more without having to go through the process of re-adding them. c:
ashlinnhi • 13 August 2014 at 3:36 AM
@musicgurl333 I think you're allowed to click a creature more than once? I'm not too sure...
vampitch • 13 August 2014 at 3:51 AM
You guys are awesooome! So happy about this! Checking it out now ❤️

For the way I've been playing this site for many years (and trust me I didn't realize I was fast approaching 5 years), I like the idea a lot.I've often not gotten on for a day or two for more than the amount of time it takes to put my eggs in at Tim's, and have felt that the unreliability would only annoy any of the "friends" I acquired. But this allows me a way to get the clicks and feeds I need, with out feeling like I'm taking advantage of them, as I only get back what I put in.It also cuts down on the time it takes me to randomly find other eggs to feed in order to make EC. This is going to reduce the chance of me feeding a pet or even entire cove that a user didn't want feed for whatever reason, and had mentioned in the novel sized note on their look up that I honestly can't be bothered reading most of the time.So far, I haven't had any issues with it, but then again, I've only been playing around with it for a hour or so.

I've had no issues thus far with the Click Exchange
xmar_13 • 13 August 2014 at 5:00 AM
@Ian Great idea! But I'm getting more clicked than I click, also there are less creatures to click when you on here for a while.. Because of the more clicked than clicks. So no one can show their creatures..

@IanYAY, I'M A TESTER!
noah • 13 August 2014 at 5:42 AM
I really love this whole concept- it's quick, efficient, fair, and lets everybody get out as much as they put in. The only issue I've found is sometimes when I generate a fresh link, it brings me to a creature I've already clicked, which I know because I've fed it today. I feed all my links, so for it to be bringing me to the same page twice means that second click probably isn't counted in the creature's stats. Other than that, it's awesome, and definitely something I plan on using ^^
werewolf • 13 August 2014 at 6:18 AM
@Ian It's a great way to get views for your creatures! just one question are creature supposed to appear twice even when you click refresh?
blub • 13 August 2014 at 6:32 AM
@IanAwesome! 😃 Love this idea, I've been clicking all morning 😊
silversanguine • 13 August 2014 at 6:49 AM
@Ianis this how you work it? dunno...(never done a forum post thingy before)thanks for the beta testing stuff I guess.but well I wanted to say that whenever I click one of the eggs (or creatures) the thing that says "total clicks" doesn't increase (i.e. goes from zero to one). is this a bug or is that not how it works? thanks again for the beta thingy.
sarahzafirah • 13 August 2014 at 6:50 AM
@Ian I'm not sure if anyone has suggested this, but when you click a creature it directs you to its profile, right? 😊 For me, it's a bit of a problem since I want to go back to the Click Exchange and click another creature when I'm on another page. I was thinking that when you click a creature it will pop up in another tab without redirecting you to its profile, so us users who click and then feed will have no problem. 😸
silversanguine • 13 August 2014 at 7:02 AM
@Ianwait. don't worry about that. I just now realised that it isn't working at all. either it's super buggy for me or I'm not suppose to be a beta tester (which is weird since I was given the notification that I am one). I can click on all of them and nothing happens except for that thingy that says "clicked this" or something. when I leave and come back not only does the "total clicks" thing not increase but it seems that the eggs and creatures are the same ones that I clicked earlier.help me please. *eggy eyes*I hope I don't trouble you with my problems. and that this is actually being received. otherwise all of this is for naught.
pichu116 • 13 August 2014 at 7:12 AM
Hmm Im not fully getting this well.....No problems yet tho same with others same pets appear a lot.... also I lose The points I collect like all of them... I read how it works so everytime someone clicks... it takes them all?
Deleted • 13 August 2014 at 7:27 AM
@mistishackletonWell..your XC id diminished whenever somene clicks any of your pets that are in the exchange, right? So you need a good amount of points if you want to put pets in as well as when people click, right?Well..what is neat is you can set the maximum amount of clicks so that is nice. The feature of the nature of clicks can be set too so that is really helpful. It is not my intent to complain and I really am glad this is being put into place..it will help lots of people get their pets hatched. Glad I was picked to help out. 😊
iv24 • 13 August 2014 at 7:45 AM
I love this new feature and I've had no problems so far. The only thing you can improve is to make the creatures in "Manage your creatures" clickable, which I think would be nice... at least for me would be helpful. 😃
raitonchidori • 13 August 2014 at 7:47 AM
@Ian thanks for letting me participate of it!I didn't find any bugs at the moment, I just wanted to give some ideas, that may be useful:1- In "Manage Your Creatures" page, the creatures should appear from the most clicked, to the least clicked *top to bottom*.2- There should have an "Edit" (below Remove buttom link), then we could change the preferences of Clicks/Feeds.3- In "Exchange Home" page, there should be a "Refresh Links" buttom at the bottom of page, so we wouldn't have to scroll it up to click it.4- The "Clicked!" message after you click a creature should be a bit small, it's taking a big space between them, then the creature below would climb and you would click it faster.5- Maybe if you feed a creature, you could receive a bonus XC? I'm not sure about this, but it could work. And the XC would not be taken off for the owner of the creature you fed, unless the owner has selected the "Feed" preference.Well, I don't like the idea of someone adding my creatures, because I wouldn't have control about it. What if someone add my creature and don't have XC to someone else click it? My creature wouldn't receive clicks. Well, that's it.And I think there should be more people in Beta, because I clicked 100 times and don't have XC credits anymore lol.
missbadwolf • 13 August 2014 at 8:10 AM
I keep feeding the creatures that the owner put in clicks only because I keep forgetting which category the egg came from. Is there a way to let us know that this egg wants only clicks?
raitonchidori • 13 August 2014 at 8:15 AM
@missbadwolf there's a mouse or a cake below the creatures, which mean click and feed, and when there's nothing, the owner asked both, clicks or feeds. And you don't have to feed to get XC credits, only to click.
twilight_raptor • 13 August 2014 at 8:53 AM
I am confused, should a creature profile on a new tab be loading when we click a creature? Or does the link only turn green? Because my clicks arent registering under 'my total clicks'
zalmira • 13 August 2014 at 9:18 AM
I think it's open beta now, it appears closed beta/alpha was last week. As far as the clicks go, I think those get completely refreshed during the daily "reset" when it changes to next day, like the views or when your creature evolves. I could be wrong on that, so any correction is appreciated. Also, I think there are those just clicking on the creature and not paying attention for/ignoring the "Feeds Preferred", so it wastes an XC for the person that posted the critter.
squijum01 • 13 August 2014 at 9:44 AM
@ianLike other users have posted, I am seeing duplicates of critters I have already clicked. Maybe this issue is tied to running out of XC?On another note, I like the XC counter on the side bar under the CC link. 😊
spiritkoi • 13 August 2014 at 9:48 AM
@zalmira Feeding is optional, that's why it says Feeds Preferred.
jaegis • 13 August 2014 at 10:42 AM
What happens if you have already clicks and fed the creature you visited on the exchange? I still get credits and I feel like although it would be more complex the system should take that into account
musicgurl333 • 13 August 2014 at 11:05 AM
@sarahzafirah If you hold down Ctrl when you click, it will open a new tab. I just hold down Ctrl, click all of them, then go through the tabs and feed them. 😊@raitonchidori I definitely agree about the edit button uner manage your creatures. I thought that as well.
lunar • 13 August 2014 at 11:35 AM
I used eggcave on my browser on my phone, and the click exchange goes haywire. Anything I click is not registered. o_o
Deleted • 13 August 2014 at 12:09 PM
Hmmm... Sometimes it gives me links to pets, which I have already fed today after reset.
emo_pattys • 13 August 2014 at 12:56 PM
@Ian I just loved this idea! It's awesome 😊 It's very simple and it will help us to evolve and immortalize creatures. I'm glad I had the chance to test it out
Deleted • 13 August 2014 at 1:33 PM
@Ian This is a great idea!😊 it would be a faster way for everyone to get their creatures to hatch!
lendulka • 13 August 2014 at 1:43 PM
@Ian Exchange is a great thing, I'm really happy that you guys added this feature. 😊Thanks for picking me as beta tester. 😊I don't know if it's bug, but my click count is getting into negative numbers sometimes (rignt now it's -4 XC, it's the lowest it got).
