Welcome to February at Egg Cave! We have exciting news. Today, we'd like to introduce the Monthly Challenge, which is an achievements and dailies system that allows you to earn CaveCash without a direct buy. You can earn 100 CaveCash when you complete 25 days worth of dailies (and collect other rewards along the way). Dailies rotate and reset every day at midnight ECT.
Visit and access the Monthly Challenge from your verified main account. Each month, you'll need to complete 2-factor authentication to access the Monthly Challenge. Haven't verified your main account yet? You can do that under Preferences with a valid phone number. The Monthly Challenge is largely hidden or out-of-view for side accounts and unverified main accounts.
We'll explain some of the functionality behind how the dailies system works.
This is the initial release of the Monthly Challenge and we know and understand that things will need to be updated, changed, and tweaked. We're here to listen to the community to build something that's challenging but also fun. @frankenstein As far as I know, you'll have to manually change the creature ID number in the URL, decreasing it until you either find another of that species (meaning you didn't get the first), or waiting till the steal date is listed as last month. If that makes sense?

As for voting on creature re-release I'm disappointed... I thought it would be an actual poll, not freeform. Can we pick from all the creatures site-wide, or is it just ones from certain months/yrs? Parameters should be specified. / re: MC rewards, will need a forum post.

@snowywinter Same, from what I've seen I thought re-releases were picked only from certain months/years at a time... I believe I remember it officially being said that a creature can only be re-released in the same month it was released originally, but with a freeform box--

@jlya It did! But there were only 5 in the side bar and I'm on laptop/desktop, so it's not you! Also, yeah, got another 2023 egg (fish-butt dragon!) and the cutie deer with my boost~ I wonder if the increased chances stick around all day...

Also I love the start of the community idea. Maybe a quest idea could be donating to the adoption or the donation center for new players? A way to give people maybe incentive to do those can help pets circulate even? Just a suggestion ^^
