Update With CaveCash Gifting

I was reading through the responses here a bit and am posting now just to say that I really like the idea of monthlies purchasable with EC 😃 It would mean the market wouldn't be completely swamped with the LE pets and getting the pets would be not be so random with some people getting many and some with bad luck getting none. I've seen people mention prices is of ~ a million EC for them though, which I think would be way too much, some people have slow internet/limited access to a computer and feeding that much would be utterly impossible for them. A price of 100k, just like the Calla seems perfect to me 😊

But that's just my two cents 😊

If they made CC tradeable like EC in the trade center, people could still say "CC only!"
Which would still make it unfair to new users and those who can't buy CC.
Since not everyone can buy CC, it would make the trading process impossible for them.

This would just recreate the reason why Gifting CC was removed. Only those who have old creatures and only those who can buy CC would be able to trade. New users and those who cannot buy CC would be left out of the trading process and probably quit because it's unfair to them.

New things are fun. New economy system sounds exciting. I'm glad gifting was removed. EC will be worth something now, not only at Tim's or at the Agency.

@fluffycat It's not really "new" it's actually more a shift back to the way it used to be...and I can say from experience that the way it used to be made trading for freezes a pain!

I'm willing to give it a chance, though. I think that it could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how Ian and the mods make it work. I know they've talked about finding ways to trade freezes like items. Hopefully that will happen soon, because that's my biggest problem right now.

I feel like it would help if there was a way to get freezes, gender changes, etc. that did not involve CC. You could still have the option to buy them with CC, but there would be alternatives...maybe you could win it through some kind of game or chance wheel, or maybe there could be a points system where you could earn points for completing various objectives each month (or every 90 days or something), and then get freezes by redeeming the points.

It's frustrating, because I feel like these problems should have been worked out BEFORE changing the system, not after. I feel like it's going to kind of mess things up in the short term, but in the long term it could be good. I don't really know right now though, because things are still very much up in the air, and there are still a lot of unanswered questions. I guess only time will tell.

I'm uncertain whether I'm in for this or not, to be honest.
I'd probably be all for it except for a couple of problems...

It makes it harder for some of us to acquire CC to freeze/get someone else to freeze our creatures (there are kind-hearted people like that out there) when you cannot afford to buy CC. It becomes more likely for people to scam you if you trade them the pet and ask them to freeze it for you. Once it is in their possession, they can change it's name, etc.
It happened to Imperia once, and I'm glad my friend was there to help...

It also makes it impossible for people who wish to give CC to someone for a present...

Maybe to fix the first problem, though, there could be some sort of page in the Trading Center where you can have people freeze a pet without having the pet switch hands and therefore prevent scamming....
Sort of like the enchant trade thing in World of Warcraft...

Anyways, I guess I could live with this for now....

We've been freezing creatures long before "Gifting CC" option and I am sure we will be freezing creatures after.

I still glad these changes have been made.

I hoping for the Magic Shop to open it's doors.
All change is scary, but you will acclimate ... or you will quit.
I say, stay and see how things used to be 😊
It's worth it and nothing is impossible.

@thenekosnyan I know it sounds awkward, but honestly the old/new way of freezing and trading CC pets was no more fraught with scams than the gifting method. Just make sure you are trading with a user of good reputation whose been around for a while. You will see, all will work out for the better.

I dislike this feature because recently I have been storing away CC on a different account to keep it from tempting me from buying anything. It's only 400CC on that account so now I can't buy anything expect 4 stars there because a freeze would make it uneven rendering the 150 CC useless if I buy another star of only 50CC left. I have never bought CC and probably never will unless I am 18 and nothing to do with my money.


Even though I Dislike this feature I think someone owes me 50CC with bothers me. But I do like the idea of being able to trade more fairly now. But I do suggest an idea of being able to add CC to a trade securely.

Like, for the chance wheel, there could be a wheel only LE available, a wheel only travel and other prizes like certain amounts of EC (maybe 1, 10, 1,000, and 100,000!) and things like freezes! That would be really really fun!

I don't really freeze creatures or change their gender. I'm more of what I get is what I have kind of player and if I get immortal creature in my fave stage it's only a boost for me.

I feel the new system will make CC buyers have more respect here now. Right now it was you have CC so what so have I and I can make any CC demand on you eventhough you pay with your own real money because so. Money doesn't grow on a tree for me but some traders think that it does. So yes I'm all pro to make CC things less available to all.
