Update With CaveCash Gifting

I also hope you guys can pull this off. As an old-I've-suddenly-come-back-user, it's nice to know the staff here are trying to make it fair for all of us.

I really am starting to get curious though, I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. 😊

[Even if the CC items stay CC, I hope there will be some sort of magical item we can buy with EC, instead of just travels. Maybe level ups or something? ]

Like I said before, this choice isn't perfect and some people will be shocked and disappointed by this. But, people were also shocked and affected when CC was 'giftable'. I honestly support this idea, since it seemed to be impossible to get creatures if you didn't have CC. Yes, maybe some people think it will be harder to trade CC, but I was still able to get pretty good creatures before the CC gifting thing came in.

This change will be shocking for many, but everything will return to normal. And no, it will not be impossible to get freezes/stones, because many staff members SAID that it would be a good idea if we made those things items.

And it will still be able to get CSP creatures. I was still able to trade without CC. What did I use? LEs and aliens. I waited for new LEs to arrive and I tried to get as much as possible. Then I traded those LEs for CSP creatures! People seem to forget that it was still very possible to trade before CC could be given to others. This will also make it easier for new people that cannot buy CC, because they are able to trade without facing people that only want CC. So it's not the end of the world either.

Like many said, CC was never meant to be traded and many of us did trade, including me. It was only meant to stay in the Cash Shop and meant for gifts. I'm not saying it's a sin to trade CC, but it made it unfair for others and it created some war.

The only part where I'm not for this is because I can't buy CC with real money. With my overwhelming addiction of freezing creatures I might have to resort too... Other ways...

They should definitly add cc to the trading options. that way people can still trade cc and there wont be any scams from cc trading because you just wont accept a lot before you know for sure theyre accually going to give you the cc. (because honestly, people will find a way around it and manage to do cc trades.) Plus...this way its more likely to get peoples creatures snatched, since theyll say theyll freeze the creature or whatnot, then just run off with it. so i dont see how it really helps against scamming all that much.........

i just really, really dont like this idea. Ill give it maybe a mounth, but if im dont really see it working ill probably quit.

My question is, how is 25k of CC useless? Wow. You'll be able to buy cc creatures & share them with your friends.

Freezing creatures wasn't impossible before Cash Shop (gifting) nor will it be now. There will always be scammers no matter what.

I think the best opportunity for those kind of things (freezes, resurrection stones, gender changes, etc) is EC purchase in the Magic Shop.

Yes, Magic Shop ... ehehehe ... I Love the concept and hope to see this shop actually become a reality.

It's been interesting reading all the comments.

Trading will balance out, like the old days and EC will become a valuable asset and there will always be generous people!

Good Luck making the changes - They are truly needed.

I think that is normal people is a little excited or upset of this, but I can say with time we'll get habituated to this and we'll forgot totally the "old" CC gifting option. 😋

I personally think if possible it should be changed.

Like so many other people have been saying it seems to have more disadvantages then advantages.

And I get you guys really want EC to be used more.
And if there isn't as much stuff to do with EC.

Then get more stuff people want that we can buy with EC XD

CC will always be worth more no matter what you do because it cost real money 😱

I am really glad that you guys are trying to make it fair and all. But I keep reading, were trying to make it fair for newbies.

What if a newbie wants a clous or something? How would they get one now?

CC would have been there only hope.

I do agree with someone way back though that we should have at least been notified to settle out CC some people might have owed people or something.

And also if new members only buy stuff with EC that doesn't mean they will get a CC pet with them.
Because most people who can get a CC pet aren't going to want to trade it for an EC pet they can probably already get themselves?

This is just my opinion.
But I overall really like that eggcave is trying to change.
I just think it needs a lot more work to try and make things better.
I would give some ideas if I really had more, but I don't.

All I know is this will take some getting used to. =/

actually it would be nice to be able to use EC to be able to buy something that helps to help our creatures evolve? =)

I would say there is a pretty good chance that you'll be able to use that 50CC somehow. We are currently thinking of a creative solution for users with odd amounts of CC on hand.

How can users that can't buy CC, get CC to buy for example resurrection stones??
This means that those users don't have the same possibilities that others...

Personally I don't like it. I now can't receive the pure CC I am owed. Also I can't trade my CC. >.< I have to buy a creature and hope somebody wants it.

Not where you could trade EC for CC, but just where you could turn your spare CC into EC.

Lets try to keep this on topic, guys. I know you are both unhappy with this change. This change is not a personal attack against anyone, its something that had to happen before things got too bad to fix. Just give it some time you'll see that its not as bad as you think it is.
