The dailies don't appear anymore, it got a icon to "scroll down" but the quest dont appear so I had to scroll back to this page to get the link ..

okay. the page said "It's around midnight. New dailies incoming!
Please refresh this page in one minute to see new dailies."

But it's 15 hours before midnight...

I'm not panicking... yet. I can miss today in a pinch, but I'll be out of leverage for the rest of the month. Not really how I want to spend that day but it's one of the smaller reasons why I wanted to have those extra days leverage at my disposal. It's not my first rodeo on a missing rollover, I get to twiddle my thumbs this time around, though.

At least it seems like it's only the dailies that didn't roll over. I'm used to it being nothing works on rollover when an issue like this happens. XD

Like a lot of people; with February being such a short month I've already missed too many days to fill the 25 day requirement for this month if today cannot be completed. Hope this issue isn't resolved incredible late or the day counts as complete for everyone. Going to do some other stuff today and keep checking back. It's understandable there will be quite a few issues to sort out in the first month of a new system 😊

I also found the 15 quest task yesterday to be frustrating, especially with the amount of EC it costs for the reward.

I'm sure people have wrote you already.
But my dailies clock keeps counting down without me being able to see any of my dailies that I need to complete. I checked at 12:30am, went to bed and it's now after 9am and still no dailies.

*Also 15 quests yesterday was a tad bit extreme. Lol. Felt like pulling my hair out 😅

All right, dailies are broken for the moment so I figured I would pop in and give some things I like about them. I said all the things I didn't like, so it's only fair. lol

I really like that it incorporates the click exchange. It's nice to actually get feeds out of that rather than see my available clicks never change.

I like the reminder that the wall of sandrons or the race track exist, I don't normally do them but I don't mind them as quests.

Buying from the shop has reminded me to buy things and I've even filled up my player shop. Otherwise I probably wouldn't think twice about it.

Use items is motivating me to finally putting travels on my creatures. I'd just been hoarding travels for no particular reason. lol

The feeds, clicks, and asteroid are all things I would do normally, but they're obtainable easy things to do.

I even like the quest daily to an extent. I wouldn't bother on my own normally. I think the numbers need tweaking as I've stated previously, but I don't mind the idea of it overall.

So yeah, that's my two cents.... again lol

Just a quick edit, I think it would be cool to add donating to the SAR center. Not like a specific EC amount, you could even say a few times in a day. As long as someone donated 1 EC, however many times for a daily, it could still count and there would be progress to the research.

@ravensong agreed! the cave is one of those that's time-depended, so if you happen to be out most of the day and only come go to the cave late in the day... needless to say, it sucks when you can't complete the challenge because you're at the mercy of the randomized waiting time for the Cave.

@Ian I'm going to be honest here, I'm really disappointed that we didn't just get automatic credit for today. Thankfully no quest or cave tasks today, but that's still ELEVEN hours gone, nearly half the day. Giving us only half a day to finish all the tasks is... Not right imo (especially, as said before, sine this is such a short month with such little leeway to begin with).

That said!! I'm still excited about this new feature and personally I'm really loving the 'use or consume items' task because it pushes me to actually put some travels on my creatures that have been waiting and needing travels forever. My freezies thank you! 😊

Feeling like 100 CC will be given out to all participating verified accounts at the end of the month, regardless of completion... 🤔 After this issue, especially. We're all in the first month of the Monthly Challenge, testing it out. We all have half a day to complete today's dailies, instead of a full day. Anything we did earlier today, such as feeding, was not applied towards the dailies. This goes unsaid, but today's issue is what has been the most unfair so far, imo. Quest amounts have been intentional, this wasn't. 😋

Today's tasks aren't too bad, perhaps that was on purpose given the bug, but I still feel badly for all the users who are in different time zones and don't have a full day, and for users whose clicks and feed did not count.

I will be doing mines in a bit. I’m in one of the time zones that usually causes problems due to how far behind I am from EST. However, for a “glitch” like this, it does have its advantage.

However, what about the others in a timezone that missed out due to the “glitch” and do not have room for a leeway day? Do others need to be forced to sacrifice leeway day since it was a “glitch” if they are working?

It may be a holiday in the USA, but it's a bit complicated as all states have different rules. There are businesses open on holidays, so there are people that are still working today.

What about people in other countries like Japan, Canada, Europe, etc.? We even had someone say it was past midnight for them.

I was thinking, should an announcement be made that the “glitch” is fixed? I am not sure everyone is watching the topic.

I can't complete even 5 Quests imagine 7 or 12?
Many players don't have enough time to do Quests. If you want to put hard level put 5 and not 12.

I'm sorry, but I'm still against this idea of Complete Quests

USA-HST, sometimes people forget/get confused that Hawaii and Alaska are USA states and that there are also still USA territories. However, most adoptable sites do have a worldwide player base. Currently, we are behind EST/ECT by 5 hours.
So as of now, post-edit it at about ~3 pm on-site, but for me, it’s just ~10 am.
Yeah, it's a bit of an odd difference. Luckily East coast is still in standard time as daylight-saving would complicate things even more.

dang, i've got very little chance of getting the dailies done today -- sadly the fix occured in the middle of my night, and my day is prewtty full on -- but we'll see, maybe i'll have some time after the OT appointment where i can smash them out.

i'd like to echo what @lynncrow said about the SARC fund as a daily! the quests are already a pretty big EC sink so having required donation amounts might not be well-received, but it could be a small solo activity akin to the trivia/alkub racing/wall of sandrodons where you simply donate to complete the quest. i personally would like to see more of a variety of quests but there's not much else on the site we could do that i imagine we could add!

@Ian I have been doing the Monthly Challenge for about 17 days, and I have a request. As a player of advanced age, and several painful chronic illnesses, plus cancer, I would like to request a reduction of those 300 feed quests. My hands are just unable to handle that one. They barely do 100 without adding to the pain level. The clicks aren't too bad, but the extra click needed to do 300 feeds is unbearable, even when I am able to split them up during the day. I am not looking for pity here. I genuinely love being able to partake in this, as it really helps me to break up the monotony, and is a great way to make new pals. I am simply asking that physical different-abilities be taken into consideration. Thank you ever so much for all the fun! ❤️

Question, if I don't get 25 days done by the end of the month, does my progress reset to 0 on March 1st? I got a late start and with only 28 days I'm just barely not gonna make it. Thanks! 😊

@sodabearjess From what I understand, yes. From the initial blog post:
"After you complete 25 days worth of dailies in a month (note that you don't have to be on every day!) you can claim your Monthly Challenge reward of 100 CaveCash"

Completed 15 cave attempts despite it not being on the Dailies list :/ Still thought it took too long. The quests are easy...yes...BUT TOO TIME CONSUMING, especially for users who do this for relaxation or don't regularly buy/sell stuff.

Maybe mods need to emphasize how that the Monthly Challenge / Dailies are optional. I also think that your developers should try these dailies with different time constraints (like complete within 1-2 hrs as a new user. It may help determine more fair(er) tasks.

OMG I am loving the new rewards for the little/individual Dailies! ❤️

I was just contemplating earlier how it would be nice to incorporate little extra things and the Dailies would be an easy way to do it. (Some players have even suggested having a random daily approach like other sites', i.e. fairy, well, tree, etc.) Another site I'm on gives out practically anything except Cash Shop *items* and it's really fun. So even getting 1000 extra ec on top of the normal amount was a great surprise while collecting, but then to get a travel... I was all sorts of giddy.

it might just be a little something extra, but it's a huge morale boost.

(What got me thinking about it again was wishing that site-wide creature happiness would be nice even if it happened once every three months on a random basis. ...but in lieu of that even if there was a chance that players could get full, or even 10 - 50%+ Cove happiness as a random during a daily approach to ???. ...then I was just rolling from there, with 5000 ec, travel, retired item, even 10 CC. And I was like why couldn't this be implemented for completing all 5 of the dailies as part of the randomizer for increased chance of getting a Cave Monthly? )

(p.s. I don't know if they are actually new, but this was the first time I got over 900-some ec collecting the reward, and the first time I got a travel.
I was just assuming they're new, that it was part of listening to user feedback. i.e. buying stuff for Quests and donating, cost to complete quests vs. worth of rewards, etc.

Also was thinking earlier today about a hybrid between dailies and the 125 tasks.
What if it went on a weekly system? I know a lot of people are complaining about only 28 days to get all 25 days, but what if we had a whole week to get 35 tasks done? That seems like a sensible compromise in my opinion.
(Apologies if someone had already suggested this, there's been a LOT of posts.)

Also, the me that had to deal with all sorts of issues and it took 8 - 30 seconds per feed for creature would hate me for saying this,
but the 100 Feeds just seem WAY too easy even for easy level. (I currently have that knocked out in 4-5 minutes usually, 3 on a good day to 10 min on a slow one.)

Suggested levels for feeds:
200 Easy
300-350 Medium
400-500 Hard (I know I still wouldn't be able to complete this some days.)

Oohhh I'm loving the new rewards! Nice boost in ec, and I got a 'how to train' book! Always need those for quests. (And 5 more freezies now have travels, and I grabbed some more needed travels from the shops... Very happy with today's dailies!)
