@Ian The side bar definitely helps quick navigating, though I will miss the Livepulse and seeing people's status on forum posts. I find the total creature health bar to be a little annoying, especially if all of your creatures are Immortal the number is kind of irrelevant. I've also noticed a little weirdness in the spacing of the cove list tabs.All and all though, I like it much more than the first version of v3 ^^EDIT: It's also near impossible to read any profile creature's name.

I really love the new layout! The only problem I really have is that everything is still absolutely huge, though not as much as before. At first, I had to keep everything zoomed out to 67%, whereas now I can make do at 90%. Outside of that, I really love that you can click on your username and have the option of visiting your profile or viewing your account preferences and that you can search for a user or creature without having to specify which.

@Ian - Nice Changes!May I Make One Suggestion?Can we please have more than 20 Mail Participants?My MLEC2 group mail is at it's limit and there are still members to add to it, but I cannot and they are left out. Is this possible?Thank you!Awesome job!!

When I click on the eggcave logo, it takes me to a page that says join free, even though it is also showing that I am still logged in.

@Ian The new layout is a neat improvement! 😃This is a bit of a minor suggestion, but the current non-version 3"Missing Creature" page shows all of the recently adopted creatures, while the new one only gives you a simple "Creature does not exist" message: http://egg-cave.us/egg/000It'd be great if this was changed, as sometimes it's nice to know if someone managed to snatch an egg you missed in the Oasis or at the Thief Shop. 😋

@IanMUCH better in my opinion! I just went about the site going to places I usually frequent (forums, profiles, Click Exchange, etc.) and it's much easier to navigate than before! I agree with @icedmagma about needing it scaled down a bit more though, 90% seems good to me but hey I can live with it.

@Ian I love the changes, we're really progressing here. I love the sidebar as it's super convenient and more efficient then what we previously had. Everything seems a bit smaller, which I personally think is a good thing. I also love how petite our coves are now!The only thing that I dislike is the main font used. I feel like everything clashes in a weird way and don't look appealing visually when visiting the homepage. It, however, looks fine in the forums.This is something really small lol, but it's the small things that matter. I love the "Join Free" button and the new login page! Now that's visually appealing. I also love how the livepulse and recent hashtags are side by side on the forums front page.

@ianThe design is a LOT better, wow! The layout is still a little bulky, but it's still tons better than the first design so I actually don't have much to say on what would be nice.I personally liked how the "Explore" and "Shops" tabs would hover down when you put your mouse over it, but clicking on the tabs is just fine. Doesn't even take an extra second or anything. I also like how "The Cave" is more familiar to the current design -- makes it a lot easier to go through my first initial 10 attempts!-- I do have to say that maybe the creature's name and level should be taken off when it's your featured? It's very difficult to see it with the Egg Cave art right behind it.-- I also thought that the 140 characters for posts on people's walls would expand? I hope that it can still be expanded. 😊-- I did notice that in the "Click Exchange," I had clicked on a creature once before but it showed up again in the "Click Exchange"?Everything is really great, though!

@Ian - I love the new layout but it seem to be loading slower then the other one, but it could just be my internet or I need to clear my day old cashe.Also, there used to be 6 eggs in the cave, now there are 5? When did it change back? Its been really hard for me to keep up with updates since I'm also very busy away from the computer. I really liked having the 6, it gave more to pick from.I LOVE that the layout is still big but not as big as before. It doesn't hurt my eyes to try to read anything anymore. Normally I'd have to squint even with my glasses or zoom in to about 150% on the old version (the one we currently use) just to read anything. The site background looks a little mushed in on the sides making the creatures that are on it a seem distorted. I miss the live feed for the forums that used to be on the top. It seems a little weird being at the bottom, but that's something I can get used to though. I also agree with @Novrain about the user limit in messages. With clubs/groups I think there should be allowed more people in a messaging group. What if there is an issue in the club/group going on but you don't want to post on forums about it but you need to tell more than 20 people? It seems a little nerve-racking to send the same message like 3 times to different people and possibly the mistake of adding more than one of the same people to one of those other messages.. If this makes sense.I like that there is a confirmation when buying the potions, freezes, ect with CC, so you don't accidentally spend your CC with a mis-click. The picture captchas on the stores are A LOT better than the current ones we use. I know, for myself, I have trouble sometimes seeing the numbers and often get them wrong. I like that you can still put titles on auctions! This really helps when you just want to sell pets to someone but you don't want to take pets in return and only want the EC!Over all I really, REALLY enjoy this new layout for EggCave V.3. Its very nice and over all much easier to see for me and more vibrant and easier on the eyes.Awesome work Ian!

@Ian Love the new sidebar and many of the changes! I've got a few additional comments on things I'd love to see.- I'm having a horrific time trying to find My Lair. It's not listed on it's own in the sidebar. It's not in the drop-down when I click on my name, either. I can access my profile of course, but that's not the full Lair view I'm used to. I feel rather silly on this one.- The little animations when you feed are really endearing! I thought I'd miss the random food images, but I kind of like the animations better.- I agree that the health bar is overwhelmingly large on the creature profiles. I think the height is what really does it for me, and not so much the length.- For me, personally, I'd rather have the feed bar a little smaller and located below the Owner/Stolen/Hatched info but above the Views/Clicks/Feeds. It seems oddly out of place at the very tip-top of things.- I feel a little silly for this too, but it took me forever to realize that the creature updated sign after saving profile edits was placed above the creature. I think it got swallowed by the background. Would it be possible to maybe relocate that towards the bottom, between 'Update Profile' and 'Return to [Creature]'s Profile'?- The background for the website seems oddly stretched on my computer. I don't know if that's true for anyone else though.- I attempted to collect interest from the Bank, was told that I had nothing in the bank, deposited to the bank, and then the 'collect interest' link changed to say that I had already collected interest. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't let me collect interest since I deposited, but it might be good for the link to say that instead of saying I'd already collected.Overall, I'm really loving the changes that have been made! Removing the white space in places and changing the creature profiles back to squares makes it feel a lot more like EggCave to me! I really don't have any complaints about the size excepting the instances I pointed out already, too.Thank you so much for all the work put into this, and for all the listening you've been doing. I love seeing the changes that have been suggested being incorporated!

@IanPersonally, I liked the older layout better. It was much nicer, sleeker, and smoother. While some people liked having a smaller "screen", I prefer the larger layout. Also, you probably already noticed this, but the background picture is all stretched and shrunken down.I'm not a big fan of the new sidebar. The color clashes (sort of) with everything and it makes the "screen" feel smaller. The "screen" feels like it was just thrown there temporarily, and everything looks too small and tight and stretched.I also miss the pie charts for health, happiness, etc., since that was really quite nice, and even cute to an extent. I also miss the cute swinging of the creatures when you feed them. They still bounce and move, but the swinging definitely was something I enjoyed. Removing the pictures and replacing them with text takes away from something. I'm just not a fan of staring at lots of text and struggling to comprehend everything.For some reason, I just hate how short the creature profiles seem now. If there is a way to view the creature's item collection, I can't find it. I much rather like the layout of the "older" Version 3, where everything is bigger and nicer (it really is just my opinion, though).I also keep confusing the creature's health with the "Feed Creature" button. I think it has to do with there being way to much green stationed everywhere. I don't know if you wanted Version 3 to be themed around green, but too much of the same color is just overwhelming. And the red notification popup startles me every time~! xD-Really, my biggest complaint is how small everything is, but I'm sure it'll just take some getting used too. I know this post is probably just going to be a small fish in the sea of approval, but I think I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed the first/older Version 3 design. 😋

@ian Not sure if you already saw this but I'm still seeing the numbers to evolution on hidden evolution/stat creatures like the Cayni and Mackatron while viewing "your creatures".I'm also seeing broken pictures for the Cayni, Mackatron, and Muska when I go to purchase a Potion of Rebirth.

Liking the look a lot better!! 😊Only 2 things:Cove spacing is really tight. Especially if critters have travels.Weird glitch in Tim's for me - Selected all and would not let me book until deselected 1 creature and selected it again. Deselecting all did not remove the fee.

@dragrawr What do you mean? Creatures on the test site can still die of hunger if you don't feed them.

@carter That is correct. You could auction off, let die, trade, ect. anything on the test site and it won't affect the real site at all.
